Hope you are all having a good weekend. I sense my weeklies will be gone by the end of it (lunch with folks and then tea and cake with neighbours today). Am tracking everything though, so fingers crossed I'll sts/lose a smidgeon next Thurs.

Only 1 week till I start my new full time job - scary! Hope DS is going to be okay with new nursery hours, can't help feeling guilty about full time work even though I've been at home with him for the first 3.5 years of his life!

Collision · 12/06/2011 10:05

Can someone point a Fab Bakin Boys Apple n Oat slice for me please?

vnmum · 12/06/2011 10:37

collision do you have a smart phone? if so there are a few free apps that work out your points for you while you are on the go, it makes it easier because you can work it out before you buy/eat it

noway I'm sure DS will be fine, it will be a good way of getting him ready for full time school next year and as long as he enjoys it there he will be ok

I've still got weeklies left, only a few but by this time i normally have eaten them all. I haven't done any exercise this week so far though as just had a really busy week and not had chance to get out for a run. was going to go today but the weather is crap and i've started with a sore throat courtesy of DD so don't think going running in the rain would be the best idea. Hopefully the weather will improve tomorrow and i will be able to get out

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/06/2011 13:01

Having a shoot off at pub then roast lamb shank and creamy buttery potatoes and veg and then pudding

Diet is off limits today :)

Can I join in here too? I've been lurking for a while on a few threads so have decided to come out of the proverbial closet.

I am TTC #2 and using that as my motivation in trying to lose one stone of baby weight.

My aim (given I am still BF my 10mo DS) is to lose 7lbs in 7 weeks. If I lost more, I'd be pleased but that is my aim.

Starting weight is 11st 5.6lbs so let's aim for 10st 12.6lbs.

OnlyWantsOne · 12/06/2011 15:58

Oh dear. Went to country fair which was ace Grin but ate whole bag of candy floss ... What do we think the PP value of it will be? Although we did do lots of walking I suppose Smile

DirtyMartini · 12/06/2011 16:08

mmm ... candy floss.

Had my first WI today and lost 2.7 pounds! I'm pleased, but slightly irked that my daily points have dropped down by 5 Shock. No wonder last week was fairly easy!

I have a lot to lose, so my typical pattern is that it falls off quite fast for a moth or two before slowing; I'll set my summer challenge goal accordingly. Hope I don't regret it, but no guts, no glory.

androbbob's summer challenge

androbbob - lose 10lbs
vnmum - lose 7lb (if i lose more its a bonus)
Wizzler : Lose 7lbs
blondes - lose 4 lbs to get back to goal

HeyH0 - Lose 7kg by the last day of July.
NoWay - to lose 4.5lbs to get past goal again and a few lbs the other side
DirtyMartini - lose a stone (current weight 14st 11.5)

Is it wrong that I really want to alphabetize that list?

HeyH0 · 12/06/2011 16:47

DirtyMartini Sounds like you were put on the PP for maintenance last week. :( (Which is generally 5 or 6 PP higher than for losing).

Only The candyfloss might not be as bad as you think points wise. Okay, it's pure sugar, but despite its volume there isn't much weight... Maybe 5 or 6 PP? That's equivalent to 3 tablespoons of sugar and is a pure guess.

Blondes I lunch sounds yummy. It's so cold and miserable here today, mash would really hit the spot.

Bartlet Welcome.

Lost another 1.5kg/3.3lbs (I'm spotting a pattern...) today, so barring accidents of the vino variety I should hit a 50lb loss next week. Shock

DirtyMartini · 12/06/2011 17:33

I don't think so - I am online and haven't changed my settings Confused. There shouldn't be any reason why I'd have been on maintenance points!

I assumed it was because I dropped below the 15 stone mark, maybe? I know that the heavier you are, the more points you get to start with ...

HeyH0 · 12/06/2011 17:55

Odd. For me it's worked out at 1 PP drop for each 7 lbs lost, I'm down to 31 PP today as I dropped into the 14's. (So should be on the minimum of 29 PP per day when I drop into the 13's).

OnlyWantsOne · 12/06/2011 18:01

Well I dropped from 38pp when 13.4 stone, to 37pp when I dropped below 13 stone - but I am breast feeding. I have never used my full allocation anyway!!

Had a bad dinner of home made wedges, so they were oily, left over mac cheese and some rattoiue type stodge that DP made ... But I had 15 PP left today and I havent had any of my weeklies for 2 weeks

HeyH0 · 12/06/2011 19:24

Breast feeding does confuse the PP issue slightly.

There have been grumbles on the WW boards about the tracker playing up over the last few weeks, e.g. people hitting their 5% & 10% goals were being put on maintenance PP's. I haven't spotted any comments about points suddenly dropping, and a 5 PP drop is particularly high. Hmm

vnmum · 12/06/2011 19:33

welcome bartlet
well done heyho

DirtyMartini · 12/06/2011 20:21

It is really weird, but maybe I misunderstood it somehow. Maybe I wasn't on what I thought I was on? I am still getting used to ProPoints and I wasn't worrying much about the border between dailies and weeklies as there seemed to be no need b/c I had such a high allowance. I thought I was on 36, am now on 31.

I don't know. I will keep a better eye on things from now on!

I suppose it could be that, because I had a membership running for several months without using it and then started again, they automatically put me on maintenance for my first week? But I'm sure I did a recalc and clicked on the bit that said I wanted to lose. Unless I just thought I clicked it, but didn't.

But then I haven't clicked anything that would take me off maintenance even if I had been unwittingly on it, iyswim.
