Not good to confess so much badness at the start of a new thread so I'll save that for next week Blush

What busy bees you were yesterday! Well done sazz and loti Smile

No exercise from me, was still feeling dog rough, but feeling a lot better today. Not sure I will have time for an exersazz tomorrow as will be on tidying up duty. We have another viewing of the house on Saturday ShockShock Fingers crossed it is 5th time lucky, this is how many engineer visits it took to get the heating working again so maybe there is a pattern forming...

Anyway am within a whisker of last Friday's weigh in even with just two exersazzes so not all is lost just yet.

luckoftheirish · 17/11/2011 08:46

Glad you are feeling better fjorny and fingers crossed for the viewing!

Scales did NOT look good this am Sad nearly 2lb up on last week Shock think my weekend is coming back to haunt me Sad

Feeling really bloated too so going to gulg lots of water and try and get one more exersazz in, it will only be a half hour session as life takes over HmmConfusedGrin

aStarInStrangeways · 17/11/2011 08:52

Good luck for your viewing Fjorgyn!

Did eat some biscuits at toddler group yesterday, but that was during DS's epic 40 minute sobbing meltdown so I am blaming him Grin Managed to do some yoga in the evening though - I wouldn't class it as exersazz since it doesn't raise my heartrate as such, but I definitely felt it last night/this morning. Also had plenty of time to get it done as DH didn't get home till half ten and then had to work till 1.30am :( which rather scuppered my plan of some mutual exersazzing!

luckoftheirish · 17/11/2011 10:35

Well done on the yoga star Smile

Cardio and fat burn DVD done Smile

SazZandASparkler · 17/11/2011 15:02

Any exercise is better than none Star, and the yoga will have helped toning/flexibility and your soul Smile. 3 workouts in one Wink

1k run, 1hr pilates, 2hrs Xmas shopping and 30 minute Abs 'ripping' with Jillian. It is quite funny as they have tried to prettify her and failed Grin

I weighed in this morning as i am out tonight - it was evens which is ok i guess given last weekend and I am defininitely feeling more toned which is fab Smile

Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/11/2011 09:00

Bugger loti Sad maybe you should try my new patent pending method of weight loss - one swim and one shred, lots of oven chips and..... -1 ShockGrin

Seriously though, you are so slim already that I really think the scales are not your friend and you need to concentrate on the tightness of your skinny jeans. How are they fitting at the moment?

Been for a swim so got at least one exersazz in this week...

Merlion · 18/11/2011 09:44

Right am here! What now? Do I need to bare all and tell you how much I weigh and what the target is?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/11/2011 10:30

Hello merlion Smile

You can tell us how much you weigh if you want but don't need to, although I fnd an occasional mention helps my memory (despite having a chart and everything Blush)

Maybe just tell us how much you want to lose and how long you want it to take.

We all try, with varying levels of success, to do at least 4x 30 minutes of heart rate-raising exercise (exersazz in honour of our taskmaster Grin) per week, and swerve too much calorie laden food with even less success. Weigh in is on a Friday morning. That's it, welcome aboard!

Welcome Merlion Grin

Pt session and 30 mins cardio Smile

Fjorny really bloated at the mo so skinny jeans are a very tight fit Hmm need to eat better and not stuff myself with rubbish Blush

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/11/2011 14:41

Bugger re your jeans loti, NO PRINGLES for you tonight!!!!

DH is off out tonight so I will have the house to myself as long as the DC stay asleep. Have been pondering all day what to have for my tea as am just cooking for me but nothing really appealed. One tiny piece of moussey chocolate cheescake at work and inspiration has struck.... what I really want is a family-sized tiramisu all to myself ShockBlushGrin not sure if I dare though...

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 18/11/2011 15:00

Stamps feet up and down and sticks lip out ... I LOVE PRINGLES SadSadSad...

No Pringles = no tiramisu for fjorny WinkWinkWink

SazZandASparkler · 18/11/2011 15:03

No weigh in for me as some ale was supped last night. I did walk over a mile to the pub though, so that must have done some good. Right? Hmm

1hr circuits this morning which was painful as i pulled my back yesterday courtesy of Jillian and her silly moves. However, feels ok ish now. Off out to a friends tonight so i am anticipating wine and pizza Blush

LOL at your personal tiramasu Fjorn. Might i suggest reading the wheel labelling first? That might guilt you into changing your mind be interesting.

Boo re ++ LOTI, but you really are lovely and slim and the scales are bonkers Grin

Welcome Merlion, as Fjorn said, healthy eating at least 5 days out of 7 and 4x Exersazz per week. However we have all worked out if you want good proper losses, then healthy eating needs to be 7/7

When i lost my 4+ stone i used Food Focus where you log all food and exercise. When i followed it properly i lost what it said i should and was c.2lb per week. Good luck with it, and let us know if you would prefer the bootcamp style hardcore kick up the ass support, or more gentle handholding. We can supply either Grin

SazZandASparkler · 18/11/2011 15:04

We aren't very good at this are we? - Pizza, Tiramasu & Pringles. Not exactly what weightwatchers ordered Grin

We should be leading our newbies by example, instead we are just rubbish BlushGrin

luckoftheirish · 18/11/2011 15:14

Don't forget the WineWine sazz BlushBlushGrinGrinGrin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/11/2011 15:44

Yes but if I hav tiramisu I won't want wine will I so that saves a few calories Wink oh but I can have Black Russians instead...

luckoftheirish · 18/11/2011 15:52

Ok so what about Friday night treat night and good for the rest of the weekend? Grin

aStarInStrangeways · 18/11/2011 17:32

hey, it is friday.

nice to see you here Merlion :)

aStarInStrangeways · 18/11/2011 17:34

how many calories do you reckon carrying a 14lb baby around for hours burns? she's v clingy today, bless her. surely i have achieved some inadvertent squats and lunges while bending down to make DS put his pants back on for the ten thousandth time today Hmm

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 18/11/2011 18:32

Evenin'

I'm back :) and 22lbs lighter than when I last joined :o I still have another 22ish lbs to go before I am where I want to be but there are 3 birthdays, christmas and NEw year before I need to reach my target!

The chips tonight may not help!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/11/2011 20:01

star - loads!

pample good work! I too am down 22.25lb on the start of my hotmama journey. Sadly though that started in May 2009, I lost 30lb in 28 weeks then it was Christmas and it's been tits up ever since Grin Turns out I am just under my overall average weight for the last two years so fingers crossed a pattern is emerging.

This is unlikely though as following star's mention of the skanky dinner thread I have been drooling over it and now have cheese & onion crispbakes and mini kievs in the freezer to choose from for tea tonight Grin I did buy a tiramisu (surprisingly only 1240 calories in the whole lot) but DH ate a quarter of it before he went out and I am going to save the half that is left until tomorrow...
