Not good to confess so much badness at the start of a new thread so I'll save that for next week Blush

Well done on the exercise Fjorn and for braving the scales which i am too scared to do

Welcome home LOTI - i'll bet the stress of it all has taken pounds off you Grin

5k run, 5k bike today. Hated almost every minute of it Sad. Why is it SO difficult to get back into it even after just a week away?
(That is a rhetorical question BTW, no need to answer Grin)

luckoftheirish · 31/10/2011 18:20

Well done sazz. I am dreading tomorrow both exercise and checking the scales!! Didn't eat acgreat deal as you you know but it was pure rubbish Blush

luckoftheirish · 01/11/2011 13:10

Quick 10km done on bike before hair app.. Need to do 10 more when I get back Hmm

luckoftheirish · 01/11/2011 16:08

Managed the other 10 before the school run phewSmile

SazZandASparkler · 01/11/2011 16:13

Well done LOTI, i have been a bit all day what with DD1 and Still not having been paid. Forced myself to walk to preschool for pickup, so 2.5 mile walk done. Not brilliant but I am counting it.

Will go to the gym tomorrow morning.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 01/11/2011 22:42

Not good with eating again but have just got my period so blaming it on that and not the fact I am a greedy fecker with no willpower... made up for it a bit with shredding tonight. Still on level one and likely to still be there by Christmas Blush

OP posts:
SazZandASparkler · 02/11/2011 10:57

2.5 km run, 1hr circuits, 10 mins powerplate. Off to the sauna....

DoctorGilbertson · 02/11/2011 11:53

Hello,

I think that part of my problem is that I lose a bit of weight (probably -4lb at the moment since the start, so enough to feel a bit better, and hovering at just over 11, rather than around 11 1/2) and I just relax and start eating chocolate again.

Well having identified the problem I should probably make steps to redeem it. I would actually like to lose about 4-6lb more to be definitely hovering under 11, rather than over.

On the up side we now have the points and DH is talking about buying the exercise bike in his lunch hour. I of course vetoed this as I want to choose, so I think that I will choose on Saturday with both kids and he will buy it next week ... we are making progress, honest.

Lots of work. I have a pleasantly quite bonkers boss but just ignoring what he asks me to do when I don't agree with it is not a strategy that is going to work for ever, and I suspect that it is reaching that point soon.

luckoftheirish · 02/11/2011 20:17

First personal training session was only 30 mins but ow oh ow.. Did 10 mins treadmill only walking thoConfusedHmm

SazZandASparkler · 02/11/2011 20:24

DrG, i definitely think you need to choose the bike. Good move on getting DH to transport it Grin. Or you could tekk him he could ride it home Wink

Well doen LOTI - that's still an Exersazz

Not sure when i can do my 4th this week as have been roped into a school trip tomorrow and then we have a birthday tea straight from school. Arse Sad

FjorgynAndHotWater · 02/11/2011 21:47

DrG that was always my problem before, I would lose a few lb quickly, think 'oh this is easy' start cheating and put it all back on again have fun choosing a bike!

loti have you recovered yet????

sazz I will hopefully be running tomorrow night once DC are in bed. Why don't you virtually join me and shred or summat?

Have already done 4x exersazzes already Shock

1x swim
2x shred
1x run

Can't see there being any loss on Friday though and the weeks to Christmas are counting down alarmingly fast

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 03/11/2011 07:36

SazZandASparkler · 03/11/2011 09:40

Ok, will try shred this evening but v v unlikely based on past performance Hmm

luckoftheirish · 03/11/2011 10:57

40 mins done at gym, stepper bike and powerplate Smile

SazZandASparkler · 03/11/2011 19:50

Only just home, so no shredding here as predicted

However have been good on food and busy with school trip/shopping etc so hopefully ok.

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow....

FjorgynAndHotWater · 03/11/2011 20:33

SazZandASparkler · 03/11/2011 21:22

Oh no LOTI, sorry you have had a crappola afternoon. Your 40 mins at the gym will have earnt you a fair few calories, so worry not Smile

Or have a Brew with me Grin

YougreatPumpkinmousse · 03/11/2011 21:38

Evening
AF has finally arrived so my mood is lifting and the sugar craving is passing.

I have had a BAD food day and tomorrow will be worse if DH is true to his word! We had a family day at the beach in Wales where DH had promised the girls fish and chips and ice-cream sundaes. I had a small fish and chips but left the batter (like that helps!) and I only had a couple of spoons of DD2's ice cream because some eejit had put banana sauce on it! BUT there was a very long windy walk on the beach towing a buggy and chasing DD2 to keep her out of the water.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 04/11/2011 06:54

Up 0.75 . Hoping it's period but probably it's sticky toffee pudding Blush

OP posts:
SazZandASparkler · 04/11/2011 07:13

-1 on 2 weeks ago, evens for 3 weeks ago at 10.10.

Pretty happy with that given last weeks food and no exercise programme. Hoping this doesn't mean a delayed gain next week. Off to the gym this morning before M&D arrive.

Pample - your day doesn't sound TOO bad!

Lol @ sticky toffee pudding blame fjorn Grin

luckoftheirish · 04/11/2011 09:13

Evens on two weeks ago.

Well done on your -1 sazz Smile

Definitely just sticky toffee pudding fjorny

Pt session this am Hmm

FjorgynAndHotWater · 04/11/2011 10:00

Well done on your evens girls after two weeks Smile

I have been reading back on the thread trying to gather up some proper motivation and just read myself promising to get under 12 stone by the end of April, May, June etc... Still over half a stone to go BlushBlushBlush Think I need to make more of a concerted effort with food over 7 days instead of 3 or 4 per week, try really hard to lose some weight and then do maintenance at a lower level than currently. I have done really well hovering around 12 1/2 for the last 7 months...

OP posts:
SazZandASparkler · 04/11/2011 12:51

2k run, 1 hour circuits, 5 mins powerplate then took DD2 swimming. Circuits were a killer

Well done on your maintenance Hots Grin. No, seriously you have done well, with summer holidays etc, it could easily have crept up a stone like me, so be proud of what you have achieved.

Respect to LOTI too for not gaining in America in the face of so much stress.

In fact i wonder if stress is the key as my week was pretty damn stressful too?

luckoftheirish · 04/11/2011 14:25

3km interval training and 1/2 hour pt session.. Jeez she works us so hard, was sweating buckets!

Well done on awesome exercise sazz...

Fjorny you have 7 weeks til Xmas so a pound a week will do it Grin
