Not good to confess so much badness at the start of a new thread so I'll save that for next week Blush

Do you think insight be prevaricating here? Blush

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2011 11:18

1hr pilates, 5k run, 10 mins powerplate. Off to the sauna Smile

DoctorGilbertson · 06/10/2011 17:44

still doing quite well on not eating so much. feeling generally grumpy and a bit hungrier than normal so probably doing it right.

PS have name changed again to a Postman Pat themed identity

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2011 18:19

DrG, I have found that the food side of things is more important for weightloss than the exercise. The exercise helps to tone and boost metabolism, but focussing on food is definitely the way to go Smile. Did you decide on an exercise bike/cross trainer?

luckoftheirish · 06/10/2011 19:39

Well done sazz Smile

Good on the healthy eating dr Smile

35 mins hard core cardio and sit ups done Smile

SazZaVoom · 06/10/2011 20:54

Excellent work on the hard core cardio. Sounds painful Grin

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow, whoever is joining us. I have eaten a mahoosive bowl of chilli tonight and can feel the weight of it already BlushGrin. Other than that, food been pretty good all week, so fingers x'd.

SazZaVoom · 07/10/2011 07:21

-2 Smile

Pleased with that as I am also feeling more toned which often means losses don't appear to be quite as good.

Circuits this morning and then swimming with dd2.

Big meal out this eve though BlushGrin

luckoftheirish · 07/10/2011 08:47

Woo hoo well done sazz GrinGrinGrinGrin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 07/10/2011 09:15

Wow loti I missed that you had lost 5lb in the last two weeks, that's fantastic Grin well done for keeping it off! How long to Las Vegas now?

sazz -2 also excellent Smile you guys will have to kick my ass to get me back in the groove...

Am +4 on 2 weeks ago and can definitely feel it (and see it) on my belly and thighs Blush Time to get tough Hmm so have been for a swim this morning and am NOT eating any biscuits today.

luckoftheirish · 07/10/2011 19:25

GrinGrinGrin it was really funny but I have to say I am now converted to the power plate GrinGrinGrin

DoctorGilbertson · 07/10/2011 21:12

not weighing until I have a set of scales that have a less than 10lb range depending on where I stand, but feeling OK-ish. Will report in when my "shopping not dieting" activities are fully accomplished.

SazZaVoom · 08/10/2011 09:00

Hurrah for a powerplate convert.

Walked 2.5 miles yesterday afternoon.

Lol at your scales DrG. Good to hear you 'feel' like you are doing well. I have one pair of jeans which is always my benchmark.

luckoftheirish · 08/10/2011 12:41

Quick 30 mins in the gym Smile

luckoftheirish · 09/10/2011 14:01

An hour in the gym, interval training, power plate, crunches and stepper Smile.. Back hurting a bit now tho Hmm

FjorgynAndHotWater · 09/10/2011 20:51

Just been for my first run since 14th September Shock no wonder it was such hard work... 2.9 miles door to door with 20 minutes in total of running mixed with 15 minutes walking/warm up/cool down (couldn't manage more than 4 minutes running in one go Blush). Went swimming with the DC this morning too although was just me as DH poorly so no actual swimming managed by me. Still, 2x exersazzes ticked off so far this week Smile am celebrating with wine Blush

loti you had better ease up a bit now so close to your trip. Don't want to be incapacitated in Vegas!

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 10/10/2011 15:00

4km interval training... Back still sore so no power plate or crunches...

Suppose to be doing core tonight which isn't going to happen but gym buddy may drag me to the gym anyway HmmGrin

SazZaVoom · 10/10/2011 16:19

3k run, 10k bike, 5 mins powerplate, 400m swim.

Terrible weekend again Blush

Nice running Fjorn Smile. welcome back to the hotmama fold.

luckoftheirish · 10/10/2011 20:23

Woo hoo sazz and fjorny GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Another 3km interval, 6km on bike and 5 mins on powerplate Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 10/10/2011 21:58

lots of walking, house work and shagging today Grin plus have been very good re food. i had one of those 'all my clothes are too small' moments in front of the wardrobe this morning which seems to have reminded me why I am actually trying to lose weight...
