Not good to confess so much badness at the start of a new thread so I'll save that for next week Blush

Well done on the loss AAS Smile

Fjorny good to see straight back on it and in fairness it's not a very big gain Smile

Good luck in your PT sessions mal Smile

For me only one word BiscuitBiscuitAngry

AlsoAvailableSober · 15/07/2011 10:49

Shred Level 1 with weights. Very sweaty. Not sure if it is because it is warm or i am out of practice Blush

You ok Loti? I think your body has converted everything possible to muscle. Please do not be disheartened or best yourself up over weight Sad. it honestly means nothing when you are slim and toned. you have a gorgeous figure and will knock most 20 year olds off the beach wearing your bikini.

Malvapoeding · 15/07/2011 11:31

Loti - is there someone (a PT or such like bod) at your gym who can do a body analysis on you to show just how little body fat you are? Your constant exercise means you are toning muscle and toned muscle weighs more than fat. If you look at some sports people e.g. rugby players who look amazing and yet when you look at their weights they weigh 19 or 20stone - there is no fat just muscle bulk, then look at a commony garden 20 stone person and see the difference between fat and pure muscle.

Malvapoeding · 15/07/2011 11:34

oh and PT session cancelled - I have just been to the doc and apparently I have low lung function (52% of normal) due to a reaction between 2 lots of drugs so an resting today and have to have another function test in the morning.

luckoftheirish · 15/07/2011 12:02

Rest up mal that doesn't sound great Sad

Well done on the shred AAS Smile

I have done 30 mins on stepper and ran yes ran 2km. V proud of myself Smile

I think I need to mix it up at the gym a bit more and not feel like I have to go every day iykwim? Yes definitely more toned but like the what the scales sayConfused so gonna try and forget this week and try again for nxt week Smile

luckoftheirish · 15/07/2011 12:03

FjorgynAndHotWater · 15/07/2011 18:47

QueenofDreams · 15/07/2011 19:05

well done on the loss AAS. I'm not going to weigh myself until next weekend I think.

Haven't done fantastically with my resolutions so far Hmm Drank some wine last night Blush I've done pretty well today though: Muesli for breakfast, salad for lunch, and no snacking. Also did about 45 minutes of the exercise dvd this morning.

Stroppy toddler calling...

FjorgynAndHotWater · 15/07/2011 20:22

I did it Shock Grin only 8 minutes in total of running but I didn't collapse so yay me! Trick will be to do it again though

QoD if you are still bfing then just watching what you eat and not having too many treats, plus a bit of exercise will have the lbs rolling off I'm sure. Good idea to leave it two weeks till your next weigh-in then you can be amazed at your progress Smile

Mucho respect on your continued sterling efforts loti Grin

Hope they can sort you out quick mal and you can get busy again!

aas how was Jillian? Bossy as ever?

Off to lie down...

Malvapoeding · 15/07/2011 20:50

Yay - Fjorn :)

My mission this weekend is not to eat like the local starved cats this weekend thanks to this evenings large dose of steroids.

Malvapoeding · 15/07/2011 20:51

too many weekends in that post!

luckoftheirish · 16/07/2011 13:55

only a quick session at the gym this am as we had another party to go to

16 mins on stepper and 2.5km run in 14mins 30 seconds.. this running could get addictive Smile

AlsoAvailableSober · 16/07/2011 18:50

I have been on the rollerblades today. Sadly more tottering than exercise, but fun anyway and DD laughed at me Hmm

Well done on the running ladies; PMSL at LOTI getting addicted Grin. You will be doing mini triathlons next. 2.5k run, 10k bike, 16 length swim, just in case you had forgotten Wink

QoD - well done on your day and the odd glass of wine or 3 is fine. Just get right back on it again the next day and the weight WILL go Smile

QueenofDreams · 17/07/2011 15:56

aas am picturing you on rollerblades Grin

No excersie this weekend, I'm too selfconscious with DP around Blush Also had pizza last night for dinner, as we didn't have much else in. Woops. We've signed up for the nhs 5 a day meal planner thing though, so we have a week of healthy meals all planned out. The ingredients are all ordered as well, so hopefully DP won't do his 'mmm not sure I fancy [insert planned meal] tonight' thing that he loves to do. It's why we always end up eating so late because I can't decide what to cook till he stops being a fussy bugger!

Anyway, here's to weight loss

FjorgynAndHotWater · 17/07/2011 20:22

Hope you managed not to stuff your face all weekend mal, a feat un-managed chez hots Blush

aas Grin re roller skates, v good for the inner thgh muscles if I remember the 80's! I have a pair in my wardrobe actually but the pavements round here are too rough for fun. Used to love skating as a teenager though

loti your dedication id awesome. Hope you ahve had a fun, restful day today Grin

qod I don't blame you for not wanting to do exercise infront of DP, I am just the same. Grrr re his meal shenanigans though, I hope your meal planning helps him eat what he's given... Live aas says though, don't worry about pizza/wine/whatever. Just thinking about what you eat will help you consume fewer calories and combined with exercise you will be slim again before you know it [gri n]

although why you should listen to me I have no idea as my eating has gone completely out of control Blush but on the plus side I have been out running again Shock Grin Think I could get to like it once the stabbing pains start to fade

QOD you are doing fab already and take each day at at time Smile

Hope you are feeling better mal Smile

Malvapoeding · 18/07/2011 15:08

Afternoon all

Much better here (I think) no massive purges apart from curry on Saturday night after a massive house cleaning session.

Waiting for today's test results before booking gym.

luckoftheirish · 18/07/2011 21:00

Core stability done Smile didn't want to go but I think I'm glad I did Hmm

AlsoAvailableSober · 18/07/2011 21:11

5k run and 5 mins powerplate today. I was the same as you LOTI, it was bloody torture the whole time - i think because I came on today. Alternatively it was because my body was filled with crap over the weekend Blush

Hope todays results were good Mal?

You out running on air Hots? Wink

QueenofDreams · 19/07/2011 17:27

hey, no exercise been done since last update. DC doing the non-sleeping thing so haven't had a moment when I was awake and unencumbered by children to actually do anything. I am massively tired so it's hard work not to pick at junk constantly! Luckily we now don't have any jumk food in the house. Loads of fruit thugh!

luckoftheirish · 19/07/2011 18:56

hugs QOD... snacking on fruit is v good tho Smile

did double cardio dvd this am at home as had loads to do and then found a free half hour Shock and did shred level 3 with weights

FjorgynAndHotWater · 19/07/2011 21:56

loti ShockShockShock

Been out for my third run tonight, next time will be week 2 of the C25K which apparently is 90 seconds of running instead of 60 so will see how that goes...

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 20/07/2011 11:59

Well done fjorny Smile

45 mins spin class done Smile scales are horrific and I am definitely not eating more... Losing my mojo for this exercise 6 days and counting til holidays Smile

QueenofDreams · 20/07/2011 17:48

When you say 'horrific' how much do you weigh loti? In every photo you look as skinny as a rake! Please do take care of yourself, and don't overdo things ok? Smile

I managed to do about 45 minutes of my exercise dvd this morning, horay! Healthy beating also in place now. Had a yummy ham, tomato and salad bagel for lunch followed by half an orange (other half got nicked by Sebastian)

QueenofDreams · 20/07/2011 18:09

oh woops at 'healthy beating Blush That really should read healthy eating!
