Noway.. sometimes your weight does seem to fluctuate. I remember having a mini WI at home and had put 2lbs on. After a bollocking series of clear instructions from Blondes, I kept going, and within a couple of days I had settled back down again. I am sure its just a blip, so don't worry

malteserbunny · 15/04/2011 17:43

hi all, tis me vnmum, are you liking my name change? I have 2 of me waiting in the fridge, yummy

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2011 17:50

I don't bollock - I just give gentle advice :)

I have just drunk 2 pints of chai lea latte :)

Blondes- Sorry but that sounds vile. Envy
I did a slow cooked chicken dish with dumplings for tea, very filling and only 11 PP.
Also just pointed up a recipe for summer porridge which is nice and it has 4PP. Might give me an incentive to have a better breakfast as I'm bored with what I'm currently having.

LoopyLa · 15/04/2011 20:20

Crikey, you lot can taaaaalk Grin

We're already at 205 messages & only started 3 days ago!! That means in in sod it I can't pretend that my maths is any good but you get what I mean!!! It would take me a week to name check & before you know it Iona has claimed another thread Wink

Anyway, I'm declaring that I'm going renegade for the week! I'm not weighing in tomorrow & I'm off work all week visiting relatives, having my 34th 21st birthday then it's Easter so to hell with it, I can't even pretend to try I'm afraid! I shall WI 2 weeks tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend :)

LolaLadybird · 15/04/2011 20:57

I'm going renegade too. Off to the in-laws tomorrow until next Thursday so returning just in time for Easter weekend and all the chocolate and socialising that that entails. MIL is v health/fat concious in her cooking so that won't be too bad, it'll be the treats when we're out with the children etc. (Am already thinking about coffee whilst waiting at the airport tomorrow and whether I'll resist anything with it - food obsessed, moi Blush). I am at least taking my running kit tho' so hopefully can salvage something (as long as it makes it out of the bag!)

No access to computer while away so no on tracking e-source and no chatting to you lovely ladies - no doubt you'll be finishing the next thread by the time I'm back!!

LolaLadybird · 15/04/2011 20:59

Oh, meant to ask if you could share the summer porridge recipe Herding - I am a porridge/muesli fan in the mornings but could also do with a bit of variety.

IHeartIona · 15/04/2011 21:29

well done on all the great losses over the past couple of days!

I've been feeling crap - had chills/temp yesterday and was all achey, then felt much better this morning after a good sleep. with feeling ill I haven't tracked since Mon or Tues and had a particularly outstanding menu today:
2 crumpets for breakfast at 7am
pretzel and danish pastry from German bakers mid-morning
parma ham, emmental and rocket ciabatta for lunch
chicken, pots and veg for dinner, plus a curly wurly

Missed WI this week and am planning on starting again tomorrow with tracking etc. now I've recovered. also just got a Wii with Wii Fit so will try that out.

Like your namechange malteserbunny! Any thoughts on Aero lambs?
Renegades LoopyLa and Lola - enjoy!

MrsKwazii · 15/04/2011 21:49

Have seriously upped my intake of water as advised by WW leader - it's like I'm pregnant again! In and out the loo constantly!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/04/2011 23:41

Erm .......

If I drink a pint lot of wine

But

Is in another county

It doesn't count

Yeah right

Sooooooooo glad you agree :)

I am on 3rd week of WW - I am losing very slowly, it feels like a lot of food to me. I think I will stick with it for awhile, as it does move you towards healthy eating. I agree re bread, also I think you can't go crazy on fruit. Re pudding, I like to get good quality plain yogurt and add fruit to it. Once you break the sugar habit, its sweet enough!

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 16/04/2011 06:26

Right, are you lot the reason the malteser bunnies are out of stock at my local Co-op ? They were there for ages and when i decide to go and buy one, all gone. It will be like Waitrose bottom butter all over again !

LoopyLa · 16/04/2011 06:47

Blondes were you pissed high on life in that last post???

Seems like myself & Lola aren't the ones going renegade... Wink

Piffle · 16/04/2011 07:30

I always seem to lose better when drinking water so I'm mainlining it this week to combat PMT and bloating.
I need to find new recipes, I'm getting bored...

NoWayNoHow · 16/04/2011 07:45

Hey all! On mobile so haven't caught up properly. Had canapés at Turner Contemporary launch event last night- does a goats cheese ball and 3 mini rhubarb and strawberry donuts count as dinner?

Stayed at Premier Inn too, so it's a Brewers Fayre breakfast for me! That DEFINITELY won't be loads of points Blush

Love to stay and chat, but my child free morning is precious Wink and I have a date with Tracy Emin and Jules Holland at 10! Good luck for the weekend, may the WW force be with you!

SueSylvesterforPM · 16/04/2011 11:27

Morning all

god i'm feeling rough

MrsKwazii · 16/04/2011 13:41

Could someone help me with a silly Q? Is it important to eat all of your points, or does it matter if you're a bit under some days?

Have had 5 or 6 over the last few days, but don't want to eat for the sake of it. On the old system, there was just no way I'd have points left over. Mind you, am still at the 'being super-good' first week stage. Am just worried that under-pointing may slow later losses down.

loubloutwinmum · 16/04/2011 14:01

Blimey, this thread moves so fast! Well done on losses & sorry to those who have gained - on phone so just a quick message from me! Got horrendous totm & in major pain & there is no way I get to goal Monday! House full of chocolate, had wine & it is our anniversary so eating out tonight! My stomach is huge & swollen & painkillers have me in the constipated club too! Hope you all have fab weekends & will report my gain on Monday. X

herdingcats · 16/04/2011 15:02

Well I'm having a sit down now ,as I've just spent 3 hrs gardening . Going to activity PP it and see what it says.
Hopefully it gives me some points to play with as we're out for our anniversary tonight.
Fence painting tomorrow should add a few more hopefully. I so want to reach 1 stone before the end of April.

SueSylvesterforPM · 16/04/2011 20:08

Hey hows is all??

loublout get better soon!

Im such a pillock stopping over at my inlaws forgot my folder!

DontGoCurly · 16/04/2011 20:15

hello everyone, can I come in?

I have gained 2 stone since last year. I lost my Mam and my job in the same year and comfort ate loads and drank far too much BEER Blush

I am WW veteran and it always worked in the past. So i re-joined in Spring but couldn't get my head around the new points so I left and gained another half stone.

I look awful and have nothing but a few bits that fit me! Motivate me women!

loubloutwinmum · 16/04/2011 20:46

Welcome dongocurly, pro points is fab so get stuck in as it really works. I've lost just under 3 stone in 5 months! Ignore my last post as totm & having bad weekend foodwise but it is our anniversary! This thread is great, you will get so much support.

I am a bad example today as have had cup cake girls (not a little one, a big sickly swirly one), popcorn, malteser bunny & love hearts !!! Been out for dinner & have a bottle of wine calling me in the kitchen! Think I will gain for sure but will be back on it Monday!

SueSylvesterforPM · 16/04/2011 22:30

Don'tGoCurly
big hugs

sorry thats not helpful putb I empathise with needing motivation I'm sorry about your mum

sorry I suck

herdingcats · 17/04/2011 10:59

OMG -I thought I ate quite well last night ,and I had 14 PP from activity to help .
Went on Esource andit added up to 37 PP = fail Blush
Oh well Ill just have to be extra good until WI on Wednesday. Back to the garden now ,and burn off the extra from last night .
DGC- you can do it, take it slowly and it will fall into place. Its so hard when things happen all at once ,TC >

Piffle · 17/04/2011 13:34

DGC welcome and sorry about your mum and job and totally hear you on the beer ( carrying 5 yrs of too much lager on my belly )

Re undereating points. I think if you are on 29 you should be eating all most days.
I work out my points to calories somedays and it's only 1100 cals

I was b a d last night 51 PP due to Indian restaurant...
Oops
BBQ today but I'm on chicken and salad and just had egg salad for lunch.
Onwards! Just chuffed to lose half of weight needed!
