Welcome one and all to our 6th thread

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place!

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! ) Grin and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag, all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering! :)

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week.

So far we have lost an amazing 147 lbs since jan 2011 Shock

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in - pour yourself a Wine or Brew and make yourself at home :)

Guys some important news

As some of you know, blondes and I met up a couple of weeks ago for a coffee and a chat.

I have received a text message from her friend today with the very, very heartbreaking news that Blondes' DH passed away yesterday (Saturday).

Sad Sad Sad Sad

Her mate wanted me to please pass this terrible news on to Blondes' MN friends, so obviously if any of you know any other threads that's she's active on where she's formed bonds with other MNetters, like she's done with us, could you pass this on.

Don't really know what to say, it's just awful and we just need to keep her in our prayers to help her get through what must be an inconceivably difficult time.

littlefish thanks, that's really what I was hoping someone would be able to do. I only know Blondes from this thread, but I know that she's active on so many others and knows a lot of other MNers. Her mate wanted me to basically pass it on to Mumsnetters, so any way we can make sure her other MN friends know would be good.

Have had a couple of message from Blondes. She really doesn't want any details on MN, nor does she want to have a separate thread for it as that will just be too much.

I think she just wants her friends to know what she's going through, but really for that to be the extent of it for the moment.
