technically blondes yes, when i used the calc on my phone i put in for 1 and it came up as 0pp, 2 was 0pp, 3 was 0pp but 4 was 1pp so i carried on putting them in and 8 was still 1pp but 9 was 2pp. hope i worked it out right anyway

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:36

hmm, i cant see that you can eat 7 of them for 1pp

that just doesnt make sense

OP posts:
Littlefish · 14/04/2011 17:47

It's the same on the online tracker.

It says 30g wafer thin ham is 1pro point, but if you set the weight yourself, you can have 50g of ham before it says 2 pro points.

The thing is though, you're not really cheating the system, you're only cheating yourself. It's taken me 20 years of being fat to work that one out. Grin

vnmum · 14/04/2011 17:49

littlefish i look on it as getting what i pay for,lol

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 17:53
Grin
vnmum · 14/04/2011 18:00

ok, i have just done the calc on the WW site and 2, 3 or 4 mikado's are 1pp but 5,6,7 or 8 are 2pp.

sorry for the slight confusion. still a good choc treat in my opinion

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 18:07

So, if you have 2 now, and 2 later tonight, will you count that as 1pp each time or 1 over the day? Smile

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 18:30

littlefish just remembered, good luck for tonight!

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 18:31

What am I doing tonight NWNH?

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 18:35

Isn't it your concert? Or have I got the days totally mixed up?

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 18:41

A bit mixed up NoWay - my concert is 2 weeks on Saturday (day after the Royal Wedding). But thank you for thinking of me. I'll hold onto your good luck wishes until the night of the concert Smile

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 18:44

Wow, I really couldn't have got that more wrong! Blush

vnmum · 14/04/2011 18:49

littlefish if i had 2 mikado's now then 2 later i would count it as 1pp for the full 4 not 1pp each time, because i know i can have 4 for 1pp

slovenlydotcom · 14/04/2011 18:56

may I join in here? New to mumsnet but feeling my way around!! Have been doing WW since January and have lost a stone (yes very slowly, 1lb a week, but as I have lost quickly before and piled it back on I was very happy)

Note I say was, I put on 2 on Sunday, so a bit of a setback, also this week has been less than brilliant as it is school holidays!!

vnmum · 14/04/2011 19:20

slovenly welcome to mumsnet and welcome to this thread. Some of us have not had the best of weeks but are back on the wagon now. the support of this thread helps alot

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 19:33

Yeah I need to loose tons of weight

I've only used 27 points today with all 3 meals and a snack
not once used all my points daily

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 19:34

Welcome slovenly

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 19:47

Welcome slovenly!

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 19:54

Ditto vnmum I always accumulate how much I've had of the same thing in one day. E.g. you can't just add a splash of milk at 0pp to your tracker 6 times a day, you need to put it in as 5 portions of 30ml (or whatever) which is 2pp. It works both ways, you've eaten 4 Mikados in total so the pp you track has to reflect that.

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 19:55

Oh, and hello slovenly! Welcome to MN and to the thread!

LolaLadybird · 14/04/2011 19:56

Welcome Slovenly.

Had several incidents with mini-eggs today (they were in the office) but otherwise have been v good and also had a run so OK overall. Interestingly yesterday when I thought I'd been terrible, I ended up 1 pp under for the day because despite the deviation with the jam doughnut, I've got really used to preparing low point meals to counteract the odd misdemeanour.

By the way, I finally discovered Malteser bunnies today having heard much mention of them on here. How many points please?? (As you can tell I am not one of those that goes in for complete choc abstinence altho' would probably do me the world of good Grin)

androbbob · 14/04/2011 20:01

Evening all!

Well done to all the losers and STS this week - I think this warm weather (well it was at the weekend) makes you concentrate a bit more!

vnmum - I agree it was a milestone run - I have just checked the Week 6 schedule - doesnt seem too bad but not sure about the 25min run at the end of the week! I dont seem to be covering anymore distance though even though I run further!" I reckon I need to start practicing covering the 5k distance!

littlefish and claireDL - I am so glad that I dont like those Lindt choc bunnies! A waste of PP to me!

blondes - I will be checking in tomorrow morning to see your results! And No Moaning as you promised! Remember the choc, cake, pizza and the like - naughty Blondes!!

littlefish - that website with the choc figures on is great - I have had a read through most of it and it is lovely - the following below is from there and makes so much sense. I am goingto print it out and put it in a prominant place for me!

Start Over

If you have started out in pursuit of your goal
And you have really tried with your heart and your soul,
But somehow things got out of control
START OVER.

When you have tried your best to do what you should
And you thought this time that you surely would,
But once again, you did not do good
START OVER.

When you have worked so hard to follow a dieters way
And you fought to win a victory each day.
But one more time you went astray
START OVER.

When you have tried so hard to yourself to be true
And do the things that you know you should do,
But once again you failed to come through
START OVER.

When the road to success seemed much too long
And each temptation was oh so strong
And once again you gave in to wrong
START OVER.

When you have told your friends what you planned to do
And trusted them to help you through
But soon discovered it is up to you
START OVER.

When you know you must be physically fit,
But your hope seems gone and you are stuck in a pit
That is not the time for you to quit
START OVER.

When the week seems long and successes few
And at weigh in time you are feeling blue,
Remember tomorrow is just for you
START OVER.

To start again means a victory is been won
And starting over again means a race well run
And starting over again proves it can be done
So do not just sit there
START OVER.

Just been on the Dukan site and my true weight is ....... it wouldnt work! I had to use my work email so maybe that will tell me in the morning!

Hey Ho! An early night for me - out for a meal tomorrow for a hen do - not a branded restaurant but if anyone can help me pick a suitable meal then the menu is here but I dont eat fish

Will be back at lunchtime for a quick check!

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 20:02

LolaLady 4pp! (they are LUSH, aren't they)

I've not been tracking this week at all cos of being poorly, but at a guess I think I've had 17pp today (4pp of which were Babybel Lights Blush). Long may the not feeling hungry last!

WI tomorrow, expecting a sts after today's sneaky check, which will be fair and a happy medium after the weekend's overindulgence and the week's lack of appetite.

Good luck for anyone WI tonight, and sorry if I've missed any losses off, kind of just skimmed the last couple of pages.

NoWayNoHow · 14/04/2011 20:23

androbob some ideas!

APPETISERS - you could do a couple of appetisers instead of one main? Maybe the tomato, mozzarella and basil salad and the spare ribs?
PASTA - just the arrabbiata really, that would be low (just the pasta to point, and possibly some olive oil in the tomato sauce).
FROM THE WOK - spicy udon noodles/egg noodles would be comparable to chow mein, which EOG says is 6pp (for mushroom one) so you'd just add the pp value of whatever meat you chose with it.
SPECIALITY GRILL - you could try the chicken with chinese 5 spice (grilled with rice, it wouldn't be many pp I'd have thought, you can also eat as much or as little of the rice as you want)

You could also try the beef/chicken/duck salads, but I'm personally very against salad eating in restaurants (it's a pet quirky thing of mine, don't ask!)

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 14/04/2011 20:27

androb do you eat prawns? If so the fettucine is prob about 16 points as the zizzi one is that. I'd agree with noway and go for a noodles dish from the will section - lots to choose from!
