androbbob did day 2 of week 6 today, 2 x 10 min runs with a 3 min walk inbetween. Didn't do it as fast as previous run but i have a bad chest again and am wondering if it was the best idea to go out running, but didn't want to get behind on plan again.

Not had the best weekend food wise either so am trying to do damage limitation till thursday and will see what WI brings

dontdillydally · 18/04/2011 13:23

Ryvita with pumkin seeds and oats - Im countign them as 1 pp - is this correct?

protein 1.6g
carbs 7g
fat 1.2g

herdingcats · 18/04/2011 13:25

I've been swimming today ,only did 20 mins as my back was in agony by then. There again tomorrow, so hope that helpd at WI on Wednesday.
Gave in and weighed myself on gym scales as well. Was quite surprised that they were showing another 1.5 lbs loss, but the truth will out at WW meeting.

hmc · 18/04/2011 13:28

Have been away for a couple of days and came on to catch up with thread, and am so shocked by Blondes dreadful news. Blondes if you do read this thread at any point I am so sorry to hear about your dh. We're all very fond of you on this thread, and it's horrible to think of you suffering this terrible loss. So very sorry Blondes

loubloutwinmum · 18/04/2011 16:58

Still thinking of you Blondes

Lost 1.5lbs, no idea how as been very naughty over weekend! Have reChed goal so am very pleased! In the grand scheme of life tho, not that important!

hmc · 18/04/2011 17:15

Very well done on reaching goal loublout - that shouldn't go unacknowledged.

I know what you mean about 'in the grand scheme of things' though, thinking of Blondes lots Sad

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 18/04/2011 17:35

Loublout, excellent, well done. Completely know what you mean about in the scheme of things and Blondes is very much in my thoughts at the moment. itis important though to acknowledge what you have achieved, you've worked hard to get there.

HeyH0 · 18/04/2011 18:24

Dontdillydally The Ryvita point up as 1pp for one and 3pp for two.

Loublout Well done.

So, I weighed in yesterday, another 2.5 kg lost and the tracker awarded me a 25lb star. On the one hand I'm chuffed at how quickly the weight is falling off, yesterday was only my eighth WI, on the other I'm concerned I'm losing too fast. Think I need to start tracking calories and nutrients for a while too...

NoWayNoHow · 18/04/2011 18:29

Well done on your losses Loublou and HeyHo - it's important that we keep posting on here so that when Blondes feels up to it, she can come back to all of us still Weight Watching and supporting each other, and get some support from us too.

foxinsocks · 18/04/2011 18:30

Was just clicking on the thread but just read blondes news. Please send her my love :-(

malteserbunny · 18/04/2011 19:21

well done loublout on getting to goal, fantastic.
Well done heyho on another good loss.

I know what people mean about the grand scheme of things. Because of posting on this thread since the beginning i feel i know blondes IYSWIM and can't imagine what she is going through at the moment. I know we don't know the circumstances but it really makes you cherish what you have and think about what really is important in life. I keep thinking about her alot. I am sure though, that she would want us to continue this thread and keep supporting each other like we can support her when she is ready to join us again. so everybody should still be proud of what they achieve at WI etc and lets make sure there is still a thread going for blondes on her return, however many months down the line that may be.

hmc · 18/04/2011 19:26

Agree - we should just keep going and keep Blondes in our thoughts. We can do both, hope she is getting lots of support from RL family and friends.

SueSylvesterforPM · 18/04/2011 19:39

I Lost 4lbs !! :)

wizzler · 18/04/2011 19:50

Blondes, so so sorry to hear about DH. I dont' know what to say, other than I am thinking of you. If there is anything practical any of us can do, you know you only have to ask. Noway, if you are in contact with Blondes, please pass opn my condolences.

malteserbunny · 18/04/2011 20:05

well done sue thats a fab first WI.

hmc · 18/04/2011 20:06

Well done sue

wizzler · 18/04/2011 20:53

Well done Sue, thats a fantastic start.
Welcome DCG, sorry to hear about your mum. Sounds like you have had a tough time. Well done for deciding to do something positive about your weight. That first step is the hardest, and we will all chivvy you along on this thread!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 18/04/2011 20:54

Congratulations loublou in reaching goal, that's brilliant.

Amazing first week WI Sue well done.

heyh0 25 lbs is a great achievement, but if you are worried about the rate you are losing at sounds like a good plan to track nutritional value etc.

I totally agree with the posters above, we should keep marking achievements and supporting each other. We must still be here for blondes if she wants to rejoin us at some point in the future.

You're in our thoughts blondes x

androbbob · 18/04/2011 21:01

Continuing as normal in honour of Blondes and her DH even though it doesnt seem right Sad

malteaserbunny - I did Week 6 day 1 on Friday and it was ok - I actually ran for 9 minutes rather than 8! I did the warm up on the bike first and then did 2 mins walk before starting the running. Will be doing Day 2 either tomorrow or Thursday. It seems to be going ok and the 5k race is now a week later than originally planned - which suits me!

loubou - well done on reaching goal - maintenance now or are you going slightly lower??

sue - well done a great loss for your first week!

I have not been great with the food today - started off ok (as usual) and I did my usual gym class which ended up as Zumba and me as a sweaty mess at the end! I then came home and cycled to school to get DS (5 mile round trip) and then had a snacky lunch. Feeling in a picky mood for no reason so moouched around the cupboards - nothing there! Had a stir fry for tea with small portion of rice. I havent tracked it all so no idea how many points.

Will be better tomorrow and promise to write it all down.

LittleFriendSusan · 18/04/2011 22:23

Just came on to catch up and am extremely shocked and saddened to hear of blondes' loss.

Blondes - my thoughts are with you and I really hope you are OK :( So very sorry...

Will post properly tomorrow but couldn't read such sad news without posting :(

Furball · 19/04/2011 06:10

I normally pop here to stalk littlefish

and and am completely saddened to read the totally devastating news of blondes dh. My thoughts are with blondes and her family Sad

hmc · 19/04/2011 09:28

Furball - it has left us all stunned, but we are trying to post normally which is easier said than done, since as androbbob said - it doesn't seem right.

Planning for a strict very disciplined day today - a bit too much excess at the weekend (2 'main' meals a day because I was eating out due to a weekend in London, and also raided mini bar in hotel room for mixed nuts and pringles two days running!). Managed to keep to strict 29 yesterday - hopefully more of same for today and tomorrow, hoping to salvage Wednesday evenings WI!

SueSylvesterforPM · 19/04/2011 09:33

well done heyho and androbob and louby lou :)

thanks all

thinking of blondes :(

JoJoBaldwin · 19/04/2011 09:37

Been away for a while and fallen by the wayside. Shocked to hear such terrible news on my return. Thoughts are with you and your family blondes, how utterly awful for you.

NoWayNoHow · 19/04/2011 09:52

Morning all

Firstly, well done *Sue" on your amazing loss!

Well, I've decided that blondes would seriously kick my arse if I didn't get back on the wagon now that I'm better, so today is a new day of tracking again for the first time in over a week.

I've not been too bad over the weekend, well as good as I could've been whilst at folks with them cooking for me. Yesterday was a little naughty - had brunch and dinner only, but brunch was a veggie fry up complete with egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, a veggie sausage and two hash browns! Thankfully I spent the next 2 hours cycling, so I'm hopeful that the activity points will have counteracted the food. Pesto pasta with veg an chorizo for dinner, so not too bad.

Have been good so far today, and intend to have three 29 point days before WI on Friday. Feels somehow liberating to be in control of my eating again (a contradiction if I every wrote one!!)

Good luck for any WIs today.
