RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/05/2011 14:36

all my technology is collapsing aaarrrgggggghhhhhhhhh

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2011 15:06

why?

TotorosOcarina · 21/05/2011 15:34

He was 9lbs :) His names Felix and hes gorgeous!

:)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/05/2011 18:44

Everything in my technology world went wrong all at the same time. I was aaarrrrggggghhhhh.

I dropped my arsing, twatting, bollocking, sodding, ( thinks for more expletives) fucking, cunting PHONE again. I cannot believe how stupidly cackhanded I am sometimes. What is wrong with me?! Butter bloody fingers.

Well my pink case probably saved it but it has cracked. And for a while I'm sure my poor phone had a bad headache because it wasn't really functioning properly. I switched it off and left it charging so it could have a bit of a lie down I'm on it now though and it seems better so maybe it is going to be ok. I got a new cover this afternoon and it's better than the pink because the back isn't transparent, so now you can't even see the back is shattered!

I think one flaw of the iPhone is that the glass screen is flat with the top so
It's very vulnerable.

The other flaw is letting lunatics like me own them.

But I love my iPhone, i would hate to be without it I love having my email linked up, ipod collection, Facebook alerts, iplayer, all my lovely iphone apps, just everything and I was really fed up when I thought I had lost it by being stupid and smashing it! But it seems ok now after it's little lie down Smile

Then DS lost some homework because his computer froze and he hadn't saved the work. Twit. So he took a photo of the screen and then tried to copy it out once the computer had been rebooted. But that was a fail because the print in the pic was too tiny.

We also had Lots of problems with our wifi today, and even the emergency back up one was messing around. And then 3G went off too. Blondes - do you have problems with 3G where you are? I know that there can be probs in different places and initially it was a bit erratic.

In the scheme of things it is nothing, but we are all so wrapped up and dependent on technology that when it all goes wrong you just want to scream!!!!!

Good weight! Welcome Felix !

OP posts:
bebejones · 21/05/2011 20:17

Ooooooooh maybe it's because the end of the world is nigh!! (I thought we had escaped, but with time differences I guess it's still imminent!) :o

Welcome back did/toto & welcome little Felix :)

bebejones · 21/05/2011 20:18

dis/toto Hmm Stupid eye...can't see keys properly & my touch typing sucks!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 09:30

I don't think the world ended yesterday Bebe, I think I'm still here Hmm

OP posts:
bebejones · 22/05/2011 09:51

Phew! Apocalyse avoided!! :o

Maybe you have a disruptive Karma around technology. My mum has this, proven fact!! Wink She kills watches, phones....trains!! :o

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 10:00

I also broke the ipad but that was a few weeks ago, the screen on that smashed too, I blamed the cat.

Trains?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 22/05/2011 10:13

pitse interesting collection of words there Grin

i also love my iphone

'strokes lovingly'

havnt smashed it yet but i have a beautiful pink flowerly cover for it

yes signal wasnt great yesterday

welcome felix :)

and ive just eaten cheese on toast - and was bloody yummy!!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 10:22

I love my iPhone

If I'd always kept it in a case I wouldn't have broken it at all. Hopefully lesson learnt. Probably not.

When I had a look at the scales today I have lost my 3 stone but obviously cannot officially claim them until Friday. But a Yaaayy anyway!

I'm joining the gym but I think I need machines to help me tone up. I'd feel a prat in a class unless it was total beginners/ idiot level Grin

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/05/2011 10:33

My last observations because I'm supposed to be ironing and chivvying on the homework front are...

A) my size 12 jeans that used to be on the tighter side of loose, are now on the looser side of tight. Smile
Secondly
B). I love cheese on toast, haven't had it for ages!

OP posts:
bebejones · 22/05/2011 11:08

Yes trains - have been on 2 trains & one tube with my mum that have stopped working & we have all been forced to get on another train/bus. There have been occasions when I was not with her when this happened too. One time her watch stopped working at the same time as the train! Spooky! :o

You are braver than me, I just can't face joining a gym, even though much toning is needed. I just can't do it! Blush

Blondes - I love cheese on toast too, but our grill doesn't work & it's not the same done in an oven :(

GettinTrimmer · 22/05/2011 11:14

would love to see a photo of baby Felix Dis/Toto! Smile

At least you do the ironing Piste Blush I take my hat off to you with this low carbing. Definitely cutting down on carbs here and there and increasing protein works but couldn't give up spuds and even ryvitas.

I have planned out what I am going to eat today, I think it will be a sts again tomorrow.

What does you mum do to trains Bebe? Has she pulled that cord thingy?

GettinTrimmer · 22/05/2011 11:14

cross posted Bebe!

TotorosOcarina · 22/05/2011 12:04

photo of Felix

Think I'm going to join slimmers world when hes 6 weeks, but will see how I go on my own for the next month.

A few people I talk to are doing that '30 day shred' DVD and are really positive about it so am considering that too,

I weighed myself yesterday and am 14st 3lbs [shock Shock Shock :( :( :(

Done my crying about it and just have to get rid now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/05/2011 13:03
