hmc dunno how accurate the heart-rate sensors are at the gymSmile

Oh and well done on the size 14's!

sparkle well done too!

noWay I'm trying to find out how to download a DVD onto my new ipod touch if you're bored......Wink

ClaireDeLoon · 22/03/2011 13:31

Well done Wynken, Sparkle and NoWay on losses and well done hmc on size 14 jeans!

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 13:45

piffle that post sounds suspiciously like there's much mid-week weighing going on. Don't do it to yourself, it's NOT reflective of what's actually happening to your body in terms of weight loss, so you're amending your behaviour for no reason.

BTM they're bloody sneaky with DVD's - they want you to download them from scratch as they know people can just lend the things to mates and they'll lose royalties. However, this makes it virtually impossible to put your own DVD's which you've already paid for onto iTunes. The best programme that my hubby found in weeks of looking was one that you download which allows you to copy 10 DVD's free on a trial basis. Can't remember the site at the mo, but I'll get it off out laptop later.

mrs as a non-veggie, these are my favourite veggie recipes. They're so low in PP for one portion that I often make enough for 4 people and have double portions along with DH to REALLY fill me up.

SALADS (all with carbs, so not really salads Wink)

HOT FOOD

Hope that's a start, I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting so will have a bit more of a think. BTW, the Spinach and halloumi salad is one of the most lush things I've ever eaten. And it makes a GREAT side at bbq's - i never make a potato salad and a green salad anymore. Just put this on the table and it kills two birds with one stone!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2011 13:46

wynken try it and see Grin dont know how many are in whole packet

what i dont understand is after reading that article is that on old ww i ate pasta EVERY day and sometimes twice if out for a meal in eve and lost weight generally at a lb a week

so why cant i eat pasta on new ww easily :(

also as much as ww woffle on about carbs/protein/fibre/fat - the easy way to work out pp for any item is to take the calories and divide by 40 and then round up/down

try it, it works every time

therefore the same way as old ww Hmm

well done also wynken for losing 3 stone and being half way :)

noway well done on loss Envy that you are all 49

sparkle Envy Envy Envy that you lost 3 lbs and ate all 49

'stamps foot'

just isnt fair :(

assume you will go down to maybe 32

noway if that bored can you find out when tumbletots starts again please after easter term Grin

mrsk did you pp the cake, you may be surprised

hmc well done on 14 jeans

tilly im still trying to work out my ipod , needed my friends 14yr to sort out itunes to my iphone Blush

Hello. I have just been to my first meeting and am ashamed how much I weigh. But am feeling positive this is the way to change it. Especially after reading how well you are all doing.
The leader didn't mention milk and my friend says you are only allowed a certain amount a day. Can someone tell me how much I can have please?

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2011 13:48

jinmle welcome :) there is no limit on milk, tho everyone should try and at least have a 1/2pint to a pint a day either through milk/yogurts etc

just make sure you point it

my friend has a large milkshake every day made with skim milk and powder and loses weight

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 13:54

Welcome jimble! Well done for taking the first step. Don't be ashamed Sad.

You can have as much milk as you want in a day, BUT you must calculate the ProPoints for it and track it accurately.

For example, if you have 5 cups of tea a day, and put 50ml semi-skimmed milk onto your tracker separately each time you have it, then it will come up as 5 lots of 0pp milk. However, if you actually add all that together, that's a 150ml of semi milk which is 2pp, IYSWIM?

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 13:55

blondes whereabouts is your Tumble Tots?

hmc · 22/03/2011 13:57

lol! - I think blondes was joking!

jimblejambles · 22/03/2011 13:57

Excellent thank you. There is quite alot to get your head round isn't there? Think I am going to buy lots of fruit on the school run to try and curb my need for chocolate at night

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:02

hmc I'm fairly certain she was Grin

hmc · 22/03/2011 14:03

Buying lots of fruit is definitely a good thing. Also do you like houmous jimble? If you get the reduced fat houmous it is about 1pp for every 25g and with some vegetable crudites is a good 'in between meals' snack

Loving those salad recipes btw NoWay

Thanks for all the congrats on the size 14's - what a great bunch you are all. Have been through wardrobe this morning and put everything to one side for recycling that is too big - doesn't leave much to wear!

piffle you might find that weight readjusts over next couple of days. I always eat most at the weekends and have noticed that when being super strict mon- wed before my wednesday evening weigh in, that often my weight on Wednesday can be 2lb less than it was on Monday morning

hmc · 22/03/2011 14:05

I'm so slow on the uptake Noway - so you were joking too! - 'durrr' as my dd would say Blush. It was your deadpan delivery that fooled me!

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:08

For "deadpan", hmc, read "dead on feet through sinus congestion with no energy to make proper actual joke" Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2011 14:09

noway im not joking Grin tue session in kent

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:13

HEY! I didn't know you were in Kent, blondes - me too!!

Which area for TumbleTots? There's lots of Tuesday classes in Kent...

ClaireDeLoon · 22/03/2011 14:14

Welcome Jimble!!

hmc that's the thng isn't it, no clothes that fit, don't want to buy new ones yet as want to lose more weight first. My jeans keep falling down so need to buy a belt.

Blondes if you're right about old points = new points then that is crazy as I have loads more points now!! I used to be on 21/22 points a day last time I did WW and was this weight. How was a chicken breast in old points?

Thanks for salad links NoWay I will try those.

Have just had a creme egg. Best use of 5PP's ever.

LittleFriendSusan · 22/03/2011 14:23

Well I lost 1lb yesterday despite my weekend overindulgence Grin. blondes - that was all dailies, all 49 weeklies, all 11 activity points & 6 more to boot Blush. I did walk to my WI - almost power walking even, so maybe that helped! (about 35 minute walk). Anyway, this week I really need to knuckle down... Would like at least 2 off, but we shall see!

Going to catch up on the other posts now so will be back :)

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2011 14:26

noway are you? small world - dare i ask where, or would that be outing yourself Grin

claire old ww 2.5p was for chicken breast and pasta was 3p for 60g

i was on 20 and now 29, but if you include fruit that makes almost 29, plus 7 a day for weekies thats 40ish pp a day (double old ww)

most things have seemed to double or slightly less, plus free fruit (up to 5/7p a day) = 29 pp

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:27

Well done LittleFriend!

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:28

I don't mind outing myself to lovely WW ladies (if you tell anyone in "AIBU" though, I might be in danger... Grin). I'm in Faversham. And you (you can PM me if you don't want to out too!).

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2011 14:33

Just down the m20/m2 from you tonbridge, but class is in sevenoaks

susan Envy well done on loss and you ate everything Envy :(

OP posts:
sparkle101 · 22/03/2011 14:42

NoWayNoHow · 22/03/2011 14:46

You're more than welcome to drop DD off here - I'm a qualified Montessori nursery teacher, dontcha know. As long as she won't mind spending the afternoons with my feral DS Grin
