Ooh, a sneaky weigh shows -1.5lb. This brings me within 0.25lb of my 'acceptable' weight range Smile. still 7.25lb off my target for this weeks weigh in that we set in January though Hmm

FjorgynAndHotWater · 23/03/2011 08:15

Oooh yay re -0.5 crisp! Mine is still saying +0.5 on last Friday but as I managed to wee out 1.75lb between Thursday / Friday last week I am not giving up hope yet Grin

Sadly back at work today, and on the train rather than in the car (plus have a feeling my boss will have texted me to let me have her car park space but on my old number ) but it was quite nice to have a brisk walk and a cappucino before 8am.

Penguin, I meant to say I use the mapmyrun+ app on the iPhone and has been fab so far

Well done on the early morning walk fjorn. Off to circuits shortly, dd2's swimming lesson and then gardening. I shall have earned my salad HmmGrin

luckoftheirish · 23/03/2011 11:02

Hurrah for sneaky weigh crisp you are on a roll Grin

Fjor i have every confidence that you will lose again this week, you have been smokin on those wheels Grin

Been to the gym today and did 50 mins, 16km on ski machine and 25 mins on the old stepper.. clocked up 650cals Smile

Have a big night out on sat and wearing a very unforgiving dress so its salads all the way here Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 23/03/2011 12:00

Woo hoo for 650 cals loti Grin I'm sure you will look stunning in your dress Smile

Apologies for my insulting -0.5 crisp when you are -1.5 Blush

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 23/03/2011 12:49

Lol fjorn. It was noted Wink

Well done on the 650 cals loti- I have done an hour full on circuits, dd1's swimming lesson and then both girls swimming for 1/2hr. I think some calories burnt during the latter as trying not to let both of them drown simultaneously despite their best kamikaze efforts Hmm

Poached egg, mushrooms and tomatoes for brekker, rocket & Parmesan salad for lunch. No idea re tea Grin

luckoftheirish · 23/03/2011 12:53

well done crispy..i had swimming yesterday with the dds and feel like need 8 arms to keep them and me afloat Grin

I have managed to hide the other thread, don't ask me how Hmm.. please help!

luckoftheirish · 23/03/2011 16:42

Decided as the weather was so nice to walk dd2 to collect dd1. I carried her there and back 1.8 miles carrying just over 2 stone Shock

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/03/2011 18:46

Blimey LOTI, you nutter Grin. Have you not heard of a pushchair? Wink

Gardening this afternoon and trying to tame 2 challenging toddlers. I feel in need of a G&(S)T this evening.....

FjorgynAndHotWater · 23/03/2011 22:21

I don't know whether to be Shock at your walking all that way loti or Envy at your 2-stone child!

Did you succumb to G&T crispy? I would loe a drink but being good and saving it all up for my boozy weekend to come Smile

Done another 12 miles so 232/300. Got the day off on Friday (hurrah) so no swimming, instead I will have to do 20-odd miles on my bike to get ahead for the weekend.

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 24/03/2011 06:09

lol my dd2 refuses to go in the pushchair..actually don't think she was feeling 100% as she had a dirty nappy on the way home and it leaked through onto my tee shirt yeeeeuk Grin

Actually think there is a little bug going around the house as dh has really not been well,dd2 loose nappies and i spent more time in the water closet last night than i bear to think about Blush.. should be good for temporary weight loss tho Grin...

Hoping to gym it today depending on how dd2 is and how my tummy holds out !

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/03/2011 07:01

Yes Fjorn -boy did I need it! Well done on your biking again but shame you miss your swim on fri.

Weigh in was -2.5 today (woo woo). I am doing an early weigh in as out for curry night at the pub tonight

I really need to do a big exercise to earn my night out but packing/shopping/work likely to scupper that. Mind you, 5 exersazz already completed this week.

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/03/2011 07:10

Have just checked back and have lost 5lb in 2 weeks Smile. new marker in sand is 10.6.
Would like to get as close as I can to 10 for the summer

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/03/2011 08:07

That's not fair I'm jealous very well done crispy Smile i am still 0.5 up on last week but didn't drink much water so will try v hard to drink loads today and hope to wee it out. Not being disheartened as have been pretty good and maybe it will come off next week instead not likely after the party weekend

OP posts:
FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/03/2011 08:08

loti ewwwwww Shock hope you escape the lurgi!

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 24/03/2011 08:19

Fjorn, I have to say, I think the low carb has helped kick start. The fact that I have been good with exercise for ages means that I haven't had to build this up. A tweak to the diet and bingo. Just hope it doesn't go back on with a weekend of eating and drinking.....

luckoftheirish · 24/03/2011 08:49

well i was -2lb for this week until the tummy trouble started and now i am -4lbs.. know its only temporary tho Hmm..

no gym for me today as dd2 had another loose nappy this morning yeeeukk so no preschool.. dh being a twat saying she is fine and its only a loose nappy but thats 4 in the last 24 hours, she obv not teething and i am sure the other mums wouldn't be too impressed..

Well done on awesome weight loss crisp..i too have had a look at my diet and upped the protein and lowered the carbs so hopefully it is working!

Fjorny water water water Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/03/2011 08:53

Well done loti despite the cause of some of it... I am really going to be letting the side down in the morning Blush

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 24/03/2011 09:45

Fjorny u have been doing amazingly well, losing every week so i have every confidence that you will lose again this week Smile..

i may attempt another school pick later to do a little exercise.. hopefully if i do dd2 will walk a little of the way Hmm

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 24/03/2011 11:04

I have a bench mark to start with here from my Wiifit this morning - It is reading 5kgs less than the uncalibrated gym scales!

Have been good with the food this week and using lord ford, only over lastnight when the lack of sleep got to me and pms got to me and I ate a creme caramel thingie from M&S. Still need to find a way to remember to drink more water.

Well done Crisps and LOTI, commiserations Fjorn hopefully next week it will all fall off :)

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/03/2011 11:59

Don't commiserate too soon bbbb, I still have time to wee some out Grin

Was just reading through the last thread when i managed to put on 10lb between March and October Shock I let it creep up week after week, a lb here, 2lb there. Really don't want to let that happen again and am hoping the concerted exercising will help to keep me away from the biscuits...

So far this thread though am down 4.5lbish (depending on tomorrow) in 5 months, with 150 posts to go here's hoping it doesn't all go tits-up again Grin

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 24/03/2011 15:00

Fjorn, you have done better than me - i am -3 on this thread Grin

I meant to say also, that i think the weekend exercise has been really good for me. Although i have had a few vino's i have certainly been restrained food wise. On that note i have booked the creche today for a week Sunday and booked into circuits too.

I have spent 4 hrs walking round town today, shopping Smile. Off to walk down to preschool in a mo which will have to do as my exersazz of teh day.

Grapefruit for brekker (i know it is not really low carb but it ain't gonna kill me Grin) as no eggs in the house. Chargrilled chicken with edamame bean salad plus strawberries from M&S for lunch. Yummy Smile

BBBB - i have heard that the wifit scales are notoriously inaccurate. Can you invest in some normal scales which are in sync with the gym?

LOTI, sorry to hear you are poorly, but a walk might be nice. Personally i would just strap DD2 into the buggy, especially if she is poorly and perhaps offer her an ice cream as an incentive bribe if she goes in it ok? LOL, just realised i am probably too late!

luckoftheirish · 24/03/2011 16:58

lol crispy we were on our way by thenSmile.. dd2 much much improved and managed to walk along alot of walls on our trip down to school.. still had to carry her alot tho.. so although only as small exercise 1.8miles better than nought Grin

Envy at your 4 hour shopping crisp Grin

Good luck for biking tonight fjorny Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/03/2011 21:13

16 miles tonight [proud] so 248/300 and will try & do 22 tomorrow to get me through the weekend. Have drunk 2 pints of water and going to have one more now.

Your shopping sounds fun crispy did you get owt good?

Glad DD is feeling better today loti Smile

OP posts:
PenguinArmy · 24/03/2011 21:32

well done Fjorgyn

I'm supposed to be climbing after work tonight and need someone to kick me up the backside to go.

I still hurt after my run, but really bad enough to warrant now going.

I am happy with my weight, although am 11 weeks pg so will have to deal with losing it all again.
