Sorry all, I joined this thread, then lost it, couldn't find it, gave up and then just saw it in active convo's

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 19/03/2011 12:19

Help I hurt. The most painful thing is sitting down the hamstring pain trying to get u and down!! I will be fine when I move more but am being waited on by my mum a I groan everytime I move. Grin

PenguinArmy · 19/03/2011 17:10

I went climbing two days in a row, once outside. Yesterday it hurt to pull door handles Grin and I felt so old.

CrispyTheCrisp · 19/03/2011 22:53

Penguin - I feel old every day Hmm. Climbing is seriously hardcore

BBBB, do you have some rest days? Sounds like her worked you a bit too hard? Have some nice hot baths and do stretching afterwards

Morning circuits plan scuppered by DD1's party. Very annoying but maybe i can do something in the afternoon

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 20/03/2011 07:02

Crisp - he was pushing me to see how far I could go before we set a basic plan - he also asked what I hated doing and I stupidly told him the truth! So he made me do it! I think if I had had a chance to finish off properly with a bit of cardio and a stretch/warm down before DD2 kicked off bigtime it would have been better but the abrupt stop with baby assisted stretching was hasn't helped. I am swimming tonight once girls are in bed.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 20/03/2011 14:03

penguinarmy did you used to be climber chick? i am guessing based on your recent activity!

No exercise for me yesterday apart from a bit of pottering in the garden, but have done 13 miles already today, 193/300 but falling a little behind and may need to do a few more tomorrow. Being quite good with food though wipes muffin crumbs off chin so quite a good weekend all in. Off to MIL's in a bit though so wonder what we'll get for tea...

crispy hope you managed to fit an exersazz in today

bbbb hope your aches have eased a bit [ouch]Grin

I did thanks fjorn. Took dd1 to a local cycle track which goes along the route of a disused railway. She cycled and I ran 2.5 miles Smile. Well done on the continued biking and better than normal weekend diet.

luckoftheirish · 20/03/2011 16:26

Hurrah for good exercising ladies Smile

I have done nought Blush but just back from hatton so a had a good walk..

dd2 at cm tomorrow to give me a bit of time so will def go to the gym Smile

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 20/03/2011 19:26

Have had a great walk carrying DD2 on my back, up and down far too many hills - it was great as it eased my aches.

PenguinArmy · 21/03/2011 00:34

nothing for me today

work has been a bit mental with split weekends and a few 12 hour days plus DD has been right mardy the last week and screaming half the night. The long days have also meant I've been eating a few extra snacks so I've found this thread again just in time.

Hopefully I'll run again in the next few days.

luckoftheirish · 21/03/2011 11:05

Did my fat burn dvd twice and abs blaster so clocked up 55 minutes of exercise in one go!! Must admit i was a sweaty yucky mess at the end but feeling really good now Smile

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/03/2011 17:18

Well done ladies for walking and fat busting Grin

I have swum 40 lengths and waiting to see if DH will turn up in time for me to make it to pilates......

FjorgynAndHotWater · 21/03/2011 21:23

Just logging another 13 miles on my bike so 206/300 with 10 days to go.

Back to cheer you all on tomorrow Smile

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 21/03/2011 23:12

Been to pilates Smile

Then pub Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 22/03/2011 10:44

Run 8.5k outside

PenguinArmy · 22/03/2011 18:11

5 miles (8km) outside. Not bad since I haven't ran for 7 weeks

FjorgynAndHotWater · 22/03/2011 21:28

Good running Smile and boozing Grin

Another 14 miles on my bike tonight so am 220/300 and caught up Will need to get ahead though as have been invited to stay with friend in Norwich for the weekend which will involve mucho eating/drinking and not much time for exercise. Would be rude not to go though Grin

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 22/03/2011 21:40

You could cycle to Norwich Wink

Well done on the 8k Penguin - do you use MapMyRun or anything to measure it?

PenguinArmy · 22/03/2011 21:49

I use walkjogrun.com

Never looked at anything else, so can't say how it compares etc.
