Is that the stuff that DH was given that clings to the fat etc??

Am sure you'll be fine tomorrow - did you decide that to do about the job btw?

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 17/03/2011 21:57

Yes - that's it the magical poo pill! One handful of chips and 30mins later...... Can't remember the shop version but the doc prescibed version is Xenical and double the strength of the other stuff.

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/03/2011 22:01

Terror is GOOD BBBB. repeat ad nauseum Grin

LOL @ magical poo pill!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 17/03/2011 22:08

Good luck tomorrow bbbb Smile

I have done another 12 miles tonight so 180/300 and can have the day off biking if I want tomorrow

loti you are doing very well keeping off the bad stuff Shock hope it pays off when you finally re-weigh at Easter. Just make sure you do it before eating seventeen easter eggs Wink

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/03/2011 22:10

Fjorn, you may not be biking tomorrow, but you are swimming. Yes?

I am going for a run and then for a haircut. Gotta make the most of a cancelled meeting and lined up childcare Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 17/03/2011 22:39

Yep, am off swimming before work in the morning. Just been reading my posts again on the thread and remembering how fired up I was before Christmas. Have done 6.5 ExerSazzes this week Shock 68 miles on my bike and a swim so that's pretty good. Hope there is a bit of progress on the scales in the morning...

Enjoy your run new hairdo crispy Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/03/2011 06:39

Not sure what happened, must have had a really massive wee, anyway am down 2.25lb GrinGrin so that's last week's +0.5 and another 1.75lb Smile am within 1/4lb of my Christmas Eve weigh now. 10 weeks to lose 6.75lb, two weeks left to lose the remaining 7.25...

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 06:59

I am Confused by your maths there fjorn but assume it is just too early! I am down 3 (ish). woo woo. 1 actually peered at the scales and am 10.8.5 so I can accurately weigh from now on. Think I am still heavier than Xmas eve - off to check.......

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 07:00

Oh, and enjoy your swim hots, and your torture session BBBB

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 07:09

From what I can deduce I am 0.5 below my Xmas eve weigh Smile. my jan target has failed though, well unless I lose 8.5 this week HmmGrin

luckoftheirish · 18/03/2011 08:55

Amazing work ladies well done Grin

I had a sneaky look on my scales and things were not good, not good at all Sad

i am at a complete loss as to why i keep gaining.. i am eating well no pasta/rice v v v little bread.. lots of veggies.. i confess i have had a few biccies to curb the sweet craving but even then they are plain biscuits...

off to the gym today and am going to see if they can measure my body fat.. checked my inches loss and its v minimal..

feel like completely caving in and going back to all my nice treats as it feel worthless.. i shall continue to resist tho... i think Hmm

enjoy your run crisp/your swim fjor and your training session bbbb..

hope dh managed to purchase you some scales bibi

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/03/2011 09:15

Sorry to [confuse] you crispy, I was just being a bit strict with myself, as last week's +0.5 was temporary period gain I can't count it as effort so am down 1.75lb on two weeks ago. Just been looking at my weight loss chart/graph and have lost 6lb in the 6 weeks since I started my biking challenges so am definitely keeping it up Smile

Have had a lovely swim, 40 lengths in 36 mins so 1 exersazz clocked up before 9am, hurrah!

Well done on your -3 crispy, that's brilliant! Hope it's as lovely in Glos as it is here, if so you will have a good run in the spring sunshine Smile

loti don't despair. Getting fat weighed at the gym is a good idea, and maybe you need to go back to lord ford and clock everything incase there is snmething you are missing, or even that you are eating so few calories your body is going into shutdown??? How are the jeans though, fitting any better?

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 18/03/2011 11:27

hurrah for lovely swim fjor Smile

I have been to the gym and burnt 620cals in 50 mins so quite pleased about that..

I have to book in to get my body fat measured.. i think i need to throw my scales away as when i got home still in sweaty kit tho minus shoes i weighed the same as i did this morning with nothing on and nothing eaten/drunkHmm...

Fjor if i am completely honest i am not eating enough [blush... its getting frustrating to see the scales going up not down so i thought by cutting back they would slide the other way Hmm

Wine tonight anyone Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 13:21

Lovely weather Hmm. I think not Envy. Was v cold, sleeting and generally miserable. I was going to the gym anyway so not too much of an issue. Ran 7.5k and burnt a paltry 525 calories compared to LOTI's 625!

Hots, it was the 7.25lb in 2 weeks that threw me Grin

LOTI - You know that you need to eat Sad. Remember when you (and I) followed the Lord religiously (eating up to our limits), we were losing as it said we should be. As Hots says, your body will go into shutdown and your metabolism fail to work properly. Have a glass of Wine tonight and look at yourself in a mirror. You are slim and gorgeous and do NOT need to have a constant battle with your weight. Do take care lovely Smile

BibiBelle · 18/03/2011 13:39

no scales not measuring but no hip pain today to my utter relief.

luckoftheirish · 18/03/2011 13:46

I love you all [chink][chink] for later Grin

hurrah for no hip pain bibi and impressive calorie burn today crisp Smile

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 14:05

We love you too Smile Wine

Bibi - so glad your hip is feeling better today. I assume DH failed in his chavsda mission? Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/03/2011 20:35

Sounds like we are all boozing tonight Grin

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 20:37

Do you have a webcam?

Definitely not a glass of Wine to be seen round here.; Oh no. More like 3 if i'm quite honest Blush

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/03/2011 20:38

I'm nearly at the end of on my second Wine which isn't bad considering wine o'clock doesn't usually start till 9pm in my house... Blush

OP posts:
blueberryboybaitonSafari · 18/03/2011 20:42

Yay for better hip Bibi.

Crispy - we had the same weather it was grim!

Fgyorn - your maths this morning threw me a little too - but fantastic loss with your biking!

Loti - I agree with the others you need to eat to burn and by eating the right stuff at sensible levels will help you burn and help your body recover from any exercise you do.

Torture session was torture in more way than one! Hard work, DD2 went in to creche and was fine intially but then realised I was gone so I had to take a 2 minute break every 10mins to check/ soothe her. I felt so horrid leaving her but she was really fine and the minute I walked in the door she stopped crying and giggled! I ache already but that is more likely to the bad stretching inthe creche due to DD2 assistance. He is a nice bloke and we worked well together but my freaky HR made him jump a bit! Measurements we not as bad as suspected only really my tummy to lose and a bit of toning - I need to lose 2 stone!

Am back to Lord for after the weekend (my mum's big birthday bash tomorrow and the regulation dad made brekkie on Sunday) Another session booked for Wednesday at 7am Shock [stupid]

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/03/2011 20:47

PMSL @ 7am. You nutter! He got you when you had no power to resist, didn't he? Grin

2 stone to lose is not bad at all. I had 4.5

Low carbing better today - boiled egg, grilled tomato & mushroom for brekker, rocket & parmesan salad for lunch and pheasant with lentils for dinner. This would have been perfect, except that DD2 didn't eat her smoked salmon sandwich on extra fresh warm bread for lunch so i snaffled that. Oh, and then the Wine. Ho hum, maybe 'slightly restricted carb diet' would be more accurate Grin

BibiBelle · 18/03/2011 21:27

Well done BBBB, well done Smile 2 stone is achievable and you'll do it!

I have 6 Blush

DH failed on his ASDA challenge so I went into town with my lot this afternoon and bought scales.

Good effort Sazz.

I was too quick with the hip assessment Sad Have bought some glocusamine (sp?) & cod liver oil.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 18/03/2011 22:29

2 stone, is that all??? I had 3.5 to lose and after 18 months still have 2 to go Blush
