not a great day here - hip is royally playing up and I can't work out if it was the 4x shifts, starting at the gym OR incident with the wardrobe Hmm

not going to gym tonight but will go back again tomorrow and start from there.

crispy I'm not surprised you were hungry after almost no lunch and lots of exercise!

I've done 1x school run, a bit of digging and 12 miles, so 144/300, am nearly half way there

I have booked torture session for Friday morning at 10.40 for an hour and a half! DDs and I are supposed to be heading for the wildlife park today but DD2 has been up ALL night with croup so a walk might be a better option.

I'm in so much pain with my hip today it's not even funny. I can't sit/stand without it being sore. I've been advised to get referred to the pain clinic which I'm going to jump at if I get the chance. Sad

OMG, i think i have been staring at this computer screen for too long now. Bibi, i am truly, truly sorry and Blush, but I did have a little at the fact that you could be persuaded to jump whilst you can't sit/stand. Please do hit me. Hard.

Constant pain is THE pits Sad. Do you have strong painkillers such as voltarol or tramadol as you shouldn't have to suffer without any attempt at pain relief?

Well done on booking the torture session BBBB. I have my circuits tomorrow.

Right, i have to go, i have 25 mins to finish my report and send it out and then i can walk down to pick DD1 up

Grin that's true. Dh used up all the serious painkillers last week to cope with his 'incident' Have taken some Neurofen Plus as the consultant says anti-inflamitories are the way forward.

No gym today - will get up and go first thing tomorrow moring before anything else.

Right, off to order waterproofs for the holidays Hmm

Bibi - Lidl have waterproofs in atm in blue, red/orange and pink - £5.99 for tops and £4.99 for waders if that helps?.

Walked 2.5 miles. Not brilliant but better than nowt. Circuits tomorrow and hopefully a run on Thurs.

I have also decided to try and low carb a bit more. Although i rarely eat bread, i do tend to have rice/potatoes/cous cous etc and have slipped back into cereal every day. I won't cut it out but try to reduce to one or two smallish portions a day (excluding carbs from fruit and veg)

yup about that but with a bit more emphasis on why eat what he says! I am having my carbs taken away for a bit and more lean meat/pulses/green leafy veg added. all the things I know about but just need reminding and a kick in the right direction.

Half a grapefruit and a boiled egg for brekker. I know the grapefruit has carbs but not refined, stodgy ones.

Off to circuits soon and then out for lunch, but to a friend's house, who tends to low carb herself Smile
