I did Hots and I should be but one step at a time Smile It is on the to do list for DH and I to get D in there in the mornings while L is at nursery because she'll be starting lessons in Aug but he has to heal first. I'm hoping that will give me enough confidence to go on my own at some point Hmm

well done on your biking! cycling is something he said I can do so maybe time to get on my bike too Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/03/2011 08:21

Well done fjorn, still on target Smile.

Bibi - when my knee was bad I would swim with a pull boy float between my knees so all power coming from the core/ upper body. I also cannot recommend pilates highly enough. A lot of physio's use it but you would need to make sure your instructor can adjust the exercises for you. We have a girl in our class recovering forms major car crash and she is doing brilliantly. Hopefully by loading and using your core would take some pressure off the hips. Hope MrB is feeling better soon too. Take care you lovely pair Smile

luckoftheirish · 08/03/2011 09:41

Morning

well done all on some superb exercise yesterday Smile

Fjor you are well on target Smile

Crisptwo exersazzels in one day impressive as always, hope london trip goes ok!

Well done darling bibi, small steps lead to bigger steps Smile

Cardio dvd completed.. but am well hacked off with the scales, they are continuing to go up not down despite healthy eating no treats or wine..

I have one of those that measures body fat and water/ yesterday in bf was 24%Blush with 55% water.. today bf was 18.3% with water 60%.. considering chucking the scales out the window Hmm

BibiBelle · 08/03/2011 15:38

Sazz - am not allowed to do yoga or pilates Hmm will double check all that with the physio when I see them but in the meantime will stay away. I love swimming but at the minute I'm having to try to make time for this and Curves is the most viable option for shifting weight. Hopefully when DH and I have a chance to chat about things I might manage some swimming at some point too.

Heading to the gym again at 4pm and was wolfing down the homemade soup at lunch time.

luckoftheirish · 08/03/2011 18:33

hope the gym went well bibi.Smile

done cardio/fat burn and abs blaster...BORING

hoping to go to the gym tom will be so glad of the change!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/03/2011 21:15

loti i did do 2 exersazz yesterday but shall only count one as i had one in the bag from Friday Grin. Good food wise today as very busy and walked about 3 miles but in various tranches, so no exersazz. Should be good for circuits tomorrow and a run on Thurs. I could murder a glass of wine to relax from a rather unsatisfying day, but am managing to resist so far

bibi Hope you can get some sensible advice from the physio rather than them banning you from everything Hmm

LOTI those scales sound bonkers as conkers Confused. Can you get a proper weigh and fat % at the gym? Oddly ours are doing a deal where you can get measured and then a free personal training session. I may take them up on their king offer once a few pounds have been shed. Well done on your DVD's and hope you get to the gym tomorrow

Hope you are furiously pedalling Hots Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 08/03/2011 21:45

I was indeed furiously pedalling Grin 14 miles tonight so 85/300. Did succumb to blueberry pancakes with maple syrup for afters but as tea was carb-free - chicken and salad - I'm hoping not too much damage was done. Have also done 2x school run and an hour in the garden so pretty good today exercise-wise.

loti stop looking at those measures on your scales I just looked up a table of body fat % and it said the healthy range is 21-33% so you have nothing to worry about and NOTHING to Blush about, OK? Grin

crispy sorry your day has not been what you wanted, but well done for not seeking solace in booze. Fingers crossed you get your circuits done tomorrow.

bibi yay for gym again [sweaty] Grin Like crisp I hope the physio can give you some more useful advice on what exercise you can do.

On shift today so up to ice cakes before I go, then lots of sitting & then try for gym again at 4. Have a great day everyone xx

luckoftheirish · 09/03/2011 11:21

Been to the gym and did some rowing/cycling and cross trainer.. about 45mins and then some hard core sit ups {phew}

luckoftheirish · 09/03/2011 13:03

wearing my small jeans, cannot breathe but wearing them anyway Grin.. my aim to make them fit a bit better and considering binning the scales completely Grin

FjorgynAndHotWater · 09/03/2011 13:24

Yay re jeans loti Grin I think it would be v sensible of you to bin the scales and concentrate on fititng your jeans better Smile Sounds like you had a good gym visit too!

bibi I hope you managed not to lick the spoon Wink

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 09/03/2011 13:51

I agree with Fjorn LOTI, you have a lovely figure and i think feeling fab in a pair of jeans is better than beating yourself up over rubbish lying scales. Well done on the gym, although i am LOL'ing that you went on the bike - i would have thought you would have had enough of that Grin

I have been to the gym, ran 1k as a warm up then an hour of circuits, followed by hauling DD2 round her swimming lesson.

Aching now Hmm

We are having pancakes for tea tonight but will have them as the whole meal rather than dessert

BibiBelle · 09/03/2011 18:13

gym done but had to nick out to be home in time for A - so did my stretchs at home like a loon Grin

managed to stay away from the naughty drawer at work which was a bonus on very long/boring early shift!

LOTI - my scales have given up the ghost too so shall chuck mine also!

CrispyTheCrisp · 09/03/2011 21:10

Arse. Have drunk wine and eaten pancakes. Will go to bed now to avoid further misdemeanours Blush

BibiBelle · 09/03/2011 21:12

lol night Crisp

FjorgynAndHotWater · 09/03/2011 21:35

Oops crispy, never mind, you did have one night off the booze...

Well done for going to gym again bibi, and mucho respect for avoiding the treat drawer Smile

I've done 13 miles tonight so am 98/300. Should have really done those last two to make it 100, but am running out of book Shock I may have to take a look in some charity shops tomorrow and find another one or two to keep me going till I can get to the library next week.

luckoftheirish · 10/03/2011 07:32

i have now been off the wine/pringles/peanuts for a week!! wish i could say its made a huge diffference but not yet! Hmm

gym again for me today, probably the stepper Hmm.. getting really bored of exercise so thinking of having the weekend off Shock.. cannot remember the last time i did that Shock

CrispyTheCrisp · 10/03/2011 07:45

You cheeky moo fjorn Shock

Am aching today after crazy circuits yesterday. Need to do one more exersazz this week so thinking of a gentle run or swim this avo. Followed by a rest in the sauna afterwards, obviously Grin

Grrr for not making the last 2 miles fjorn and hope you can find something interesting at the gym loti - do they have any classes?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 10/03/2011 08:54

A gentle run? [oxymoron] Enjoy your sauna Smile

loti if you have given up wine, crisps and peanuts I'm sure you can afford to have a couple of days off the dvds. Why not go for a lovely walk in the countryside instead?

Scales not looking promising for tomorrow, damn you weekend Blush Will have to drink lotsandlotsandlots of water today.

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 10/03/2011 11:00

Been to the gym was so not in the mood. did 40 mins on the threadmill a combination of fast walking on an incline and running Shock..my god i take my hat off to your crisp, running is damn hard work Smile

i have banished the scales for a while so will not be weighing in tomorrow, will keepmy fingers crossed for you both...

crisp have a nice swim and a lovely sauna Smile

We have the usual dancing/swimming lesson this weekend..might just do one of my dvds each day Hmm..feel guilty if i do nought ShockGrin

BibiBelle · 10/03/2011 18:23

Gym again after work today. Won't be able to go tomorrow dye to childcare but if it stops with the gale force winds D & I will walk instead :)

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 10/03/2011 18:30

DD2 creche sorted, personal trainer phoning tonight, I am going to be in pain when he is done, aren't I?

CrispyTheCrisp · 10/03/2011 18:38

Not sure, but i am in pain BBBB so you would be in good company Grin. My right quad and glutes are both feeling the pain after circuits yesterday. So much so that i couldn't actually do any exercise today (and that is so NOT an excuse). So will have to settle for 3 exersazz this week. I have been extra good today with food though to compensate.

Well done on the gym BiBi and LOTI we shall all be fit bunnies for summer Smile

Tis nice to have few people in here to chat and catch up on progress. Not that LOTI and Fjorn were boring me or 'owt WinkGrin

Good luck to tomorrows weighers and LOTI I do think you are sensible ditching the scales Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 10/03/2011 19:30
