Hi guys

HOpe the circuits go well crisp, is that a class? Despite all my running I am still scared of classes Grin but everyone says is excellent way to shift poundage.

hots all that sawing! Your arms will be amazing Smile.

Flu symptoms receding eg bodyaches etc but still horribly coughy and headachey so no chance of running. On the other hand have no interest in food.

hips welcome my dear!

Am I the only one actually considering BANNING loti from exercising/weighing until she has proper info on this fainting lark??? Seriously you have no business subsisting on fruit&veg&water (ok you had one pasta dish) when something like that is going on.

FjorgynAndHotWater · 19/01/2011 10:47

Glad you are starting to feel better ursula Smile

Glad you are feeling better urs Smile..

well i have taken all your advice and have had cereal for brekkie, some lovely minstrone soup for lunch and a slice of bread.. and a small piece of my new lemon drizzle loaf cake!!

I have done another 20 minutes of gentle pilates whilst dd2 in the bath.. my back injury has been playing up rotten and it really helps.. so another very gentle exercise for me!! Smile

UrsulaUndress · 19/01/2011 18:09

Gold star for good eating and moderate exercise, lotster.

CrispyTheCrisp · 19/01/2011 18:43

Circuits completed . Yes Urs, tis a class on the main floor of the gym . It is mainly attended by the very fit Spin ladies, but i did fine. Actually better than fine - there was one lady who was amazing but i was in the next tier with 3 or 4 others (out of 16) so was chuffed with that. I do have to say if it hadn't been for Jillian i would have been riiiiiiight at the bottom. It was like doing 3 shreds in a row! Lots of weights, pliometrics, sit ups, tricep dips and shuttle runs.....

4 exersazz already complete and my lovely shopping trip tomorrow has been canx Sad, so i may get 5 sessions in, or walks to preschool

Soup and a roll for lunch, spicy turkey and rice for dinner

Thankyou LOTI for listening to Fjorn and Ursula. They speak oodles of sense - your health is THE most important thing and you need strength for that. Have you heard back from the GP?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 19/01/2011 22:10

Well done for having some sensible food loti I hope it has made a difference today Smile

Crispy 3 shreds in a row ShockShockShock you must be so fit!

I have done 12 miles again on my bike but hip a bit achey now, think I may have been sitting awkwardly. It's getting really boring again though, may try and shred a couple of times a week too to break the monotony.

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 19/01/2011 22:14

Try shredding a couple of times an hour Fjorn. Much more fun Confused. Although having the very handsome Matt shouting at us certainly helped spur us on Blush

12 miles is fab Fjorn Smile

One day to weigh in....... No pressure or owt, you understand Wink

HippyHippopotamus · 20/01/2011 09:27

i've been running (1.2m) mon, wednes and fri with plans to make route longer for next week and
i'm planning on dusting off the wii fit today to do on tues and thurs. i'm having the weekend off Grin

i WILL get fit!!

weight has eeked up to a stone above my usual (it was within 1/2 stone a couple of months ago!)
to be honest, not so bothered about weight, just want to get my fitness back oh and lose a few spare tyres!

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/01/2011 10:11

Well done on the running hips, you will be a fit bunny in no time Smile. We aim to do 4 lots of 30 minutes exercise per week, preferably on different days and most of us have the weekend off too Grin

I have just walked/run about 6.5k. Walked DD1 to preschool (1.25 miles) and then ran up over the B eacon, almost to the pub and then back again. It is an extraordinarily beautiful morning out there and i now feel very invigorated Smile

HippyHippopotamus · 20/01/2011 10:45

30mins you say? def going to have to make my run longer!

HippyHippopotamus · 20/01/2011 10:47

Well done on the running too Hip.. build it up slowly and you will receive the benefits in no time..

Just walked dd2 to the shops and back sans pushchair.. well almost ran to keep up with her.. she is like a durcell bunny!!

Cereal for brekkie and the rest of the soup leftover from yest for lunch.. hoping to do my pilates later and maybe 5km on bike.. feeling better ladies Grin

luckoftheirish · 20/01/2011 17:21

Pilates and 5km on bike completed Smile trying to eat more so if I maintain/gain a little tom will be worth it for feeling better Smile

Need to find myself some good recipes that fill me up with adding the pounds!!

luckoftheirish · 20/01/2011 17:22

That should say without adding the pounds Blush

FjorgynAndHotWater · 20/01/2011 22:12

Well done on your running crispy Shock

Glad you are feeling better loti Smile

You'll be fit again in no time hippy!

Done 10 miles on my bike tonight and a briskish walk for an hour at lunchtime so just scraped in with 4 ExerSazzes for the week Today is the first day I have avoided all sweets crisps and biscuits though so scales may not be kind in the morning Blush Tomorrow's food likely to be rubbish too due to mucho travelling but am hoping to go for a walk up to look at Buck House before my meeting tomorrow.

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/01/2011 22:17

Well done Lots on the eating and gentle exercise. Hopefully this will help your body recover Smile. What kind of recipes are you thinking of? I have some lovely soup one and lunch ideas if you would like them? You are veggie, yes?

Yay for the bike Fjorn and racking up 4 exersazz. My body is now officially broken so i am not sure if i will manage the first exercise of the week 2moro.

Good luck for the scales all, and Fjorn you must do it before running for your train. Text me if you don't have time to log on, yes?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 20/01/2011 22:19

Of course I will Smile

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/01/2011 07:55

Arse. +1 which is seriously disappointing. Only myself to blame though re last weekend and mid week. I do feel more toned though

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/01/2011 07:56

Sorry hots, well done you Smile

luckoftheirish · 21/01/2011 08:56

Crap just lost a big post...

Well done hots Smile keep it up!

Oh crisp really was expecting a big loss from you this week after all that exercise [hugs] hopefully nxt week will be a double whammy for you!! Hurrah for feeling more toned!

Arse from me too as up 2lbs know I have been eating more and exercising less tho! Need to find foods that keep me fuller for longer and not let my blood sugar drop. So yes pls on the recipes crisp!

Here's to a brighter week nxt week!

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/01/2011 11:02

I was hoping at the worst to be evens Loti, but there we go. I think last week's loss was over generous and i had 3 bad days out of 7. I just need a good weekend and i'll be fine for next week Smile

2.5 miles walked this morning pushing double buggy. Trying to summon the enthusiasm for another 2.5 miles soon.....

I will send you those recipes over the weekend Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 21/01/2011 18:48

Bugger re your losses you too, but loti you really need to stop thinking about losing weight until you've stopped fainting, and crispy I see from t'other thread that you've pmt so hopefully that's the reason for yours.

I've been remarkably good today considering I've been travelling. I took cereal and milk to eat on the train, but forgot spoon, doh. So I ate the cereal like crisps and then had a drink of milk Grin Bacon and cheese ciabatta for lunch (home-prepared so no mayo or other excessive calorie addition) and just a bit of fruit. Have had choc mousse on my return home and not sure what calorific treat is coming for tea but this is still better than most day this week! Even managed a brisk 1/2 hour walk round that London.

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/01/2011 20:54

I think you will find it was technically a gain Wink

Well done on your restrained eating - i have been ok, but having a beer now

FjorgynAndHotWater · 21/01/2011 21:40

Well it's technically a negative loss, sounds a bit better Grin

I am drinking wine...
