Just been back to look and this is the fifth HotMama thread Shock Fingers crossed we all are where we want to be by the end of this one...

-2 on last week, phew! Think this must be due to some of the massive Christmas gain being temporary as haven't been particularly good this week, certainly not -2 good, but it's a good start and hopefully gets me back in the HotMama state of mind.

Snap on the loss and snap on the rationale. I am going to start the hotmama week off with a shred this morning as we appear to be too late for walking to school Blush

Don't forget the water ladies....

luckoftheirish · 14/01/2011 08:50

Well done ladies Smile

I am -1 which is a bit of a miracle. Desperate to get exersazzing again so fingers crossed bloods come back today!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 14/01/2011 18:39

Hell's teeth crispy, that's dedication Shock

Don't think I'll be doing any today; only got back from work 25 minutes ago after setting off at 6:50am and just counting down the minutes hours till wine o'clock...

UrsulaUndress · 15/01/2011 10:05

Hello there. I am glad to be able to add to the thread loss by saying I was -1 yesterday (even though that same loss is not actually still registering this morning Hmm). Finding the running quite hard, and have horrible cough, flu thing now so hoping it doesn't get worse or I'll be out of commission exerSazz-wise for a few days.

Well done on the late aft shredding Crisp, by 5pm I haven't a shred (geddit) of energy left either.

My shred dvd doesn't work any more - scratched or something, doesn't progress properly, only in tiny jerks so takes about 10 mins to go through 1 min of action. I was waiting to see did the Shred it with Weights one come out for Europe, just for a change - am unwilling to buy same one again as seems waste of money. However, have now not been shredding for about 2 months (more?) because of not having it - should I buy same again, get different dvd, keep waiting/running?

Loti I don't think you should do cycling etc again till you get doc's results back.

luckoftheirish · 15/01/2011 10:51

hurrah for Urs.. be careful of running with that nasty cough tho!!

Off to try the dance class with the girls, apparently mums and dads can join in to Hmm deep joy Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 16/01/2011 07:29

Oh dear! I fear this week may have been undone before it started Blush. Mucho lovely food last night cooked by DH, involving rather too much cream & butter than i believe the Lord recommends. Hey ho, will try and be good today......

Ursula - i think i would replace it. For a fiver it is worth it.

luckoftheirish · 17/01/2011 13:59

Oh dear we haven't been posting v much this weekend... The scales proved that this am Blush

no biking for me yet but did 20mins of gentle pilates whilst dd2 splashed in the bath..

Cereal for brekkie and lots of fresh veggies for lunch.. Wracking my brains for something healthly for tea... Oh and had my 1.5litres of water!

UrsulaUndress · 17/01/2011 14:46

Ordered replacement dvd. Off work with flu. Feel like utter crap all achey and horrible. Boo hoo!

luckoftheirish · 17/01/2011 14:50

Aw hugs yes lots of rest, paracemtol and honey and lemon!!

You are def excused this week! Get well soon xx

CrispyTheCrisp · 17/01/2011 17:10

Ran 5k and 5 mins powerplate (literally as i was running past it to meet DD1 for her swimming lesson Grin. No pilates this eve as DH will be late home. All being well will gym tomorrow and circuits on weds

Have eaten and drunk mucho crap over the weekend. I know if i want to lose then i need to be sensible for 6 days of the week at least, so i am going to try to be much better next weekend. Hopefully on a maintenance week this week.

ursula - poor thing Sad. DO you have the upside of no appetite.

LOTI - i do hope it was gentle. Have you fainted any more today?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 17/01/2011 21:29

Oh ursula you poor poppet Sad flu sucks ass, hope you get a good night's sleep and feel a bit better tomorrow. I prescribe a hot toddy and a hot water bottle to sweat it out of you Smile

loti are you feeling any better? I saw on the other thread that the doctor was a complete twat to you Angry, I really hope you get it sorted soon.

crispy well done on your exercise today and hope you keep it up for the next two days too.

I too have had a crap weekend food / exercise-wise Blush although did manage to restart 'married life' with DH after a too-long lack of action BlushGrin

Done loads of exercise today, 2x walks to school and back, pushing loaded trolley round the supermarket, sawing branches off a tree in the garden for over an hour (hopefully good for bingo wings) and 10 miles on my bike. On the minus side was a raspberry muffin and 3 choc chip cookies but have just got my period which may explain the afternoon carb frenzy (or I am just greedy).

Was supposed to be going to a meeting for work tomorrow but has been cancelled at the last minute so am off, hurrah, and the forecast is for sunny weather so hope to get some more gardening done.

CrispyTheCrisp · 18/01/2011 13:42

Hurrah for slimming se x Fjorn Grin

Ran 10k this morning in 30 seconds under an hour this morning and 5 mins powerplate. Have also done the food shopping and walking 2.5 miles this afternoon to pick DD1 up.

However i am going to the pub this evening with a group of friends for food and beverages. I am going to drive to limit the number of drinks calories but have to be really really strong to avoid the chips. I suppose i have 650 cals from the run to use on chippage, but seems such a waste somehow

luckoftheirish · 18/01/2011 14:13

Wow crispy that is some very impressive running and walking and powerplate.. GO GIRL Grin..

re the chips tonight, have a few but not a whole bowl/plate, that way you can feel good cos they are yummy and good as you are not pigging out Grin.. having said that with the amount of exercise you have done today a few chips won't make a difference Smile

Equally immpressive exercise from you yesterday Hots.. you are all putting me to shame Blush..

done another 20 minutes of pilates and tried 5km on the bike.. slowly slowly...

Fruit for brekkie, veggies for lunch and i am thinking either noodles or soup for tea.. Hmm

CrispyTheCrisp · 19/01/2011 08:07

Arse. Burger and chips for dinner and a glass of wine. WTF is wrong with me????????
So, circuits hopefully this morning if I am brave enough. Grapefruit for brekker so hopefully back on track.......

HippyHippopotamus · 19/01/2011 08:24

i'll be back later girls Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 19/01/2011 08:43

Wobbled a bit with a couple of choc chip brioches and a bowl of cereal for supper, blaming my greed period, also did 2x school run, another hour of sawing wood and 12 miles on my bike.

Back at work today so hoping to be able to resist the biscuity stuff lying around.

Crispy burger chips and wine, mmmmmmm. Hope you work it off in the gym today.

Loti fruit and vegetables is NOT ENOUGH if you are still feeling faint especially fruit which will just give you a sugar rush then send your blood sugar crashing after, helping you to faint. You need complex carbs or protein. A couple of eggs scrambled with a rasher of cardboard veggie bacon will fill you up longer than some fruit, and isn't too many calories.

Hippy welcome Smile

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 19/01/2011 08:53

Duly noted hots Smile had lovely creamy pasta for tea tho BlushSmile

crisp I promise a wee burger and chips will still be under the masses of calories burned yest! Good luck with circuits and that will be 4 exersazz completed ?? Smile

hots v v impressive exercise from you lady too Smile I think the scales will be both your friends on fri Wink

well my scales are def not my friend Hmm need to get back into the old exercise and my tummy is bloated to boot to Hmm

welcome hip Smile
