Yes, well i seem to have moved from gin to beer to wine Confused

Watching Jam es Bond atm - why is it SO predicatable??

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/01/2011 21:44

I know i should be channelling Halle Berry in her bikini instead.....

HippyHippopotamus · 22/01/2011 12:02

my running's going really well. it was painful breathing in the cold air though last night. anyone got any tips?

weight wise, no idea! i've decided to not get on the scales. i'm more interested in fitness side of it and already i'm noticing big improvement Smile

loti imo you should be avoiding scales too until your fainting has been sorted

crisp gin to beer to wine? you go girl!!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 22/01/2011 20:10

Am roughly 10lb heavier than this time last year (can't tell for sure as weight loss chart and graph (Blush) is on my work computer) but have gone down 2 cup sizes in my bra Shock. Looked back at Bravissimo and I bought a bra same style as my new one in August 07 which was 38G Shock am now 32FF which is 4 cup sizes smaller Shock at this rate they'll have shrivelled to nothing in another couple of years...

Not been v good today and had a nap instead of exercise, but planning on a lovely walk tomorrow as long as it doesn't rain.

Hippy do you need a balaclava to run in when it's frosty???

OP posts:
alittlebitshy · 23/01/2011 16:50

May i come back?

Not really been on Mn for ages - only a bit of lurking - felt a bit out of place (Hmm Blush).

after the 1st7lb i lost jan-june last year i put it ALL back on with an extra 2lb on top. so i am literally back to the start. lost 4lb over the last 2 weeks, so that is a start.....

hots Shock at bras. UI have noooo idea. I am still in my manky nursing bras as i was still feeding ds 3 ish times a day til recently but it is down to 2ish atm....... Maybe i will get nice bras one day. A friend was rigby and pellered recently and i think it was £400 for a custom made one. I almost fainted when she told me. it is v nice, and came in a pretty box but Shock

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/01/2011 20:07

Hips, you need to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Also i wear a fleece with a hood and a gilet over the top and the fleece comes nicely round my neck

Bloody hell hots 32??????? Wow, i am seriously impressed. I am a 34D and seem to be stuck there, but happy with that. Slight spaniel ears, but could be worse BlushGrin

ALBS - welcome back Smile. you are welcome anytime. Grrr for the weight going back on. I am 11lb up and it is VERY frustrating. I have been ok this weekend - much better than last but nowhere near perfect, so back on it this week

I have been to R&P twice and spent £60 on a bra and £120 on my wedding corset, never £400 though Shock. It is a fabulous thing to do though and to get something which fits like a glove

FjorgynAndHotWater · 23/01/2011 20:37

Don't worry crispy, my actual ribcage measurement is 34, it's just this particular style that I wear a 32 in. Think the biggest bra I ever bought was a 40L Shock when I was bfing DS.

albs welcome back Smile Sorry to hear you put all your weight back on but fear not, if you did it once you can do it again! Re manky nursing bras, I swore by the anita underwired nursing bra it's sooo comfy and gives a nice shape too. Or if you are down to two feeds a day (first & last thing?) just whip 'em out of a normal one Grin

(Yes, it is the brand name of my favourite childhood fudge and it tells the truth!)

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/01/2011 21:23

Fudge is foul. Just clings to your teeth. Eeewwwwwwww

HippyHippopotamus · 23/01/2011 21:45

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/01/2011 21:48

hips I have 2 bags of fudge here which you are more than welcome to come and collect.......

HippyHippopotamus · 23/01/2011 21:58

that's just mean..dcs are too ill to travel!

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/01/2011 22:00

That's ok, they will be here for ages as DH and i won't eat them! Our neighbour always gives them to us for xmas!

blueberryboybaitonSafari · 24/01/2011 08:26

This fudge is yummy though Cr isp - SA fudge is nothing like UK fudge - more like Scottish tablet but yummier.

Hippy - If I wasn't scared of the wrath of Sgt.Cris p I would post you a pack!

I was Shock at the price of diesel when we returned and so we are going to walk ALOT more - £102 to fill my car yesterday!

luckoftheirish · 24/01/2011 10:13

Oooh our little thread is filling up Smile

thanks for thoughts bbbb feeling better thank you!

Trying the gi diet this week so will see how that goes!

Hoping to get back on the bike but also continue my pilates as think I need a tone along side a burn!!

Hope everyone has a great Monday Smile

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/01/2011 20:43

Gosh it's busy on here now, hello everyone Smile

Had a mishap at lunch and ended up eating four chocolate teacakes Blush but that's all I had, and made up for it with lots more sawing in the garden after my initial plan of scooping all the dead leaves out of the ponds was scuppered by lots of dead frogs and again.

Have done 2x school run & pushed heavy trolley round supermarket for an hour, and off on my bike in a minute so should finish even today, but will have some way to go to make up for disastrous post-weekend weigh in this morning Blush

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 24/01/2011 21:00

Well done hots and enjoy your biking!!

I have biked and done my pilates hurrah! Have also eaten way way to much today Blush

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/01/2011 21:05

LOL @ 4 chocolate teacakes. That is quite impressive Grin

No post weekend weigh here as i fear disaster, however i have been good today and been to pilates. I will run tomorrow to make it 3 exersazz, but not sure when #4 will happen as i am away for work on weds and thurs

Well done on the biking Fjorn & LOTI. Have you stopped fainting LOTI?

FjorgynAndHotWater · 24/01/2011 21:33

10 miles I need a drink... will stick to fizzy water though.

Yes lots, has eating a bit more curbed the fainting? If so it is worth it!

Have a nice run in the morning crispy, although am still not entirely convinced that a run could ever be described in a positive way [lightweight]

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 25/01/2011 09:59

Well done hots on biking and other hard exercise!!

Well done too crisp on your pilates! Hope your run goes well today.

Not fainting now thankfully just a little dizzy now and again but just getting on with it!

More biking and pilates today if dd2 allows me too!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 25/01/2011 12:23

Glad to hear you are not fainting any more loti I had a funny turn again in the supermarket yesterday so shared a KitKat with DS Blush I just need to remember to eat something a couple of hours after breakfast and am fine then. Been to playgroup this morning so had a small chocolate biscuit but going to have salad for lunch and then finish chopping down the tree.

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 25/01/2011 14:39

Hope the tree chopping went well hots! You must have arms of steel!

Biking and pilates completed with alot of help from dd2... She likes to sit on my tummy whilst I do my pilates which is v v tricky Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 25/01/2011 15:24

Ran 8.5k and 5 mins on powerplate. I am peed off with myself that i cannot seem to get back into the losing weight mindset. I am being brilliant with food and exercise in the week, but i think i had forgotten that i need to be really pretty good at the weekends as well in order to do any better than just maintain

Grapefruit for brekker, home made chicken soup and a rocket & parmesan salad for lunch and venison burgers (very low in fat) and salad for tea.

Well done on the biking and chopping ladies. LOTI - are they running more tests as although you sound a bit better it doesn't sound like you are 100% fit?

luckoftheirish · 25/01/2011 17:20

More blood tests tom crisp.. just trying to work through it as sick of moaning and whinging about it.. getting MY mind set firmly in the right direction Smile..

you must be getting really fit crisp and that is a fab thing so give yourself a clap on the back Smile
