Well dh & dc's definitely got my blood pressure up lol God i hate it when they all come shopping with me .
well i have someone in mind - was on a nasty thread last week when the op was slagging off a family in a restaurant Hmm Grin

DD(4yrs) starts school tomorrow so hopefully ill have more me time on my hands . Ive got a 4.5month old pup so planning on taking up lots of walking while dc's are in school .

My downfall is nibbling while sitting in front of the PC Blush

ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 15:06

Elmo - yes, I was on the thread too a few of my nominations are on there Grin

I detest shopping 'en masse', I'll take anyone that needs to get stuff, but I only shop for me on my own (or with a baby/child in a buggy).

Oooh DD is starting school - is she looking forward to it?

Puppy is beautiful - the 'baby' shot makes you want to pick him up and cuddle him, sooooo cute

elmofan · 31/08/2010 18:19

lol it was a horrible thread but you fought a good fight Smile
yes dd cant wait ,reckon ill be heartbroken though .
puppy is huge now lol there's no way you could lift the big lump up now for cuddles Grin although he still tries to sit up on my lap .

Hi everyone,

Had quite a good day, ate breakfast, went to town & did not buy a pasty from the Cornish Pasty Company! (one of my many downfalls) Yay for me!

Healthy lunch, bought emergency cheapo work clothes in Primark ( possible "Angua goes to work in yoga pants & grotty t-shirt" crisis avoided) Yay me again!

DS3 in bed, I'm just off to eat healthy yet fillng dinner (I hope, DH cooking).

Now if only I can avoid the night time troughing. Grin

ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 20:24

LOL at Angua goes to work in yoga pants & grotty t-shirt" crisis avoided

Congratulations on not buying a pastie - I used to love them, but am far too embarrassed to go into the shop now Blush which I suppose is good in one way, but not in another.

Do you have any 'permitted' night time snacks?

MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 22:09

Evening all!

I've had a horrendous day food wise!

Shamefully bad!

But onwards and upwards!

how are we all doing with the evening munchies?!

OP posts:
MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 22:15

Oh! It involved a Cornish pastie!

OP posts:
ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 22:34

Milk - I hope you enjoyed it!!

Just had dinner (yes, part of the problem) so no munchies required (so also part of the solution).... bad day with other stuff....

Are you having a nice cup of tea in a lovely mug??

MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 22:38

~YES OMG! the mug came today!

OP posts:
ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 22:51

A good day then Grin

have you used it yet or is it going to take 'pride of place' for a while ??

MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:03

I haven't used it yet....i'll tell you a secret...I'm very much looking forward to Saturday morning, with a yummy breakfast, tes in my new mug and the paper...im really excited :o

Loser I know :o

OP posts:
ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 23:21

Grin so are you saving it for Saturday morning or are you 'wearing it in' before then? What might your yummy breakfast be??

Nah, def not a loser - it's nice to have something to look forward to and a relaxed breakfast with the papers and a lovely new mug sounds great! Do you get the paper delivered or will you have to go out for it?

SgtAngua · 31/08/2010 23:25

Saw the mug thread, it's lovely & just the right size. I'm tempted by the coffee one.

Very Envy about the pasty too.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:28

i'm debating! i wont have time to fully appreciate it before Saturday so think it should wait until then!

Sausage and mushroom bagel, with BBQ sauce (Just a dab) and scrambled eggs with a cup of tea....now THAT makes me happy :o

Will have to go out for them but the shop is dead across the road so I nip over in Pyjamas :o

OP posts:
MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:28

Sgt, buy it! It made me so very very happy :o

OP posts:
MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:29

I may need to buy another actually!

My absolute favourite mug at work, got broken when they moved house :(

OP posts:
SgtAngua · 31/08/2010 23:34

Nothing loserish about looking foreward to a lie-in with yummy breakfast, papers and a massive mug of tea.Smile

< Angua reminisces fondly about lie-ins >

SgtAngua · 31/08/2010 23:36

I may have to treat myself, Milk. It was an Emma Bridgewater one wasn't it?

ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 23:38

So are you buying breakfast or making it?

I'm veggie & don't eat eggs, but I'd like a mushroom bagel - but by choice I'd have either PB or cream cheese on a sesame bagel and a nice cuppa (weak, black) :)

I think you should find a different one for work and savour this one at home :)

(How long have you been with this family now?)

MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:39

mines the tea one :o

OP posts:
MilkNoSugarPlease · 31/08/2010 23:42

Making it :o i love cooking it!

Oh PB isnt a treat for me...i eat it by the jar :o

I may buy the "You dont have to be mad to work here, but it helps" :o

2 years tomorrow!

OP posts:
SgtAngua · 31/08/2010 23:49

DH would probably have a coronary if I spent £17 on a mug! Shall have to ensure he never finds out.Grin

Oh & it's smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel with medium strength Columbian coffee & a dash of milk. ( low fat cream cheese & skimmed milk, natch.Wink )

SgtAngua · 31/08/2010 23:52

There should have been a "for me" on the end of that last post.

Pinkcaz · 31/08/2010 23:52

May I join plz???

I have started WW recently and lost about 5lb (not great start lol) and need to lose at lease 5st :-( ideally 7...OMG!!!

Sorry to be dim...Thorpe Park? Is that when we have lost so much weight??? x x x

ChippingIn · 31/08/2010 23:58

LOL Pinkcaz - we wish :)

Thorpe Park is an amusement park - lots of roller coasters etc!

Most of us have quite a lot to 'give away' so you aren't alone x
