What did you eat today?

I have found that writing down what I eat each day helps me to lose weight.

I want to lose 10kg.

I am going to aim to eat three meals a day with no snacks or grazing - usually this means that I will lose weight.

I might try to do one or two pure protein days a week dukan style.

I also have to gently increase my activity levels.

If anyone wants to join me or has any advice you are welcome/much appreciated.

Today I had

-whole grain rice puffs, raisins, oats and milk, grapefruit, bananan

  • fish and rice
-smoked mackerel sandwich and a lot of camembert.

Not a great day. Tomorrow I plan to have

  • porridge with water
  • pulse type of soup and brown rice
  • brown rice and fish with cauliflower

Today I have had:

B - Toast
L - Father in law made a lovely curry but I only had a couple of big spoonfuls, could have easily wolfed the lot down though!

D - not sure yet, probably make a roast chicken

Did an hour and a bit in the gym first thing this morning too.

Am finding it a bit easier but still constantly hungry.

minimilk...i didnt know you could get almond butter before...i am now in love with it!
today i had a ham and cheese omelette with mushrooms for brekkie, 1 piece of w/meal bread,
lunch - chicken breast, about 8 strawberries, 2tsps of almond butter and 3 squares of 85% cocoa chocolate.
later again will be some kind of meat affair with veg.

yesterday i had boiled egg and ham, tuna salad, roast chicken and spinach, cauliflwer and brocolli. 3 tsps almond butter. 1 flapjack square (tiny) plus a bottle of wine.

Next week I am really going to concentrate on cutting my drinking down but continuing with eating lots of lovely veg and lean meat, also allowing a small anount of fruit if i want. My tight jeans are loose now, my loose jeans wont stay up yippee!

B - toast

L - small bowl homemade lentil soup, bread

Snack - 3 thin oatcakes

D - sweet n sour chicken, red peppers & rice

I weighed myself this morning and have put on 4lbs - I hate myself....

onwards and downwards

breakfast - 2 slices ham, 2 poached eggs

snack celery - philly light and almond butter 2 pieces of each

lunch - salad and salmon no dressing

tea will be steak and lots of veg.

Dieting is such a drag! I am on a plateau, not moving.

well i ate well and healthily dott but feel crappy, i get endometriosis and today have been feeling pretty bad with it, it feels a bit like being in weak labour (honestly!)
Other stuff too but I will make myself sound like a right hypochondriac if I start listing!

Was reassured by my sister who said that loads of people she knew on South Beach diet lost lots of weight and then put some back on but that if you stick with it then it starts to fall off a pound or 2 a week so I will not be deterred! She also told me I was a plonker becuase Ive been exercising quite a lot so some of it is probably muscle.

Still on your eggs I see! How much had you lost up till now dott?

B - All Bran

L - Salad

Late afternoon - 2 packets ww crisps

D - Small bowl Pasta

Am off to bed now though as I am STARVING and it's bed or food!

Ermmm, nothing with the salad, I know I should have but I thought I was going out tonight so saved calories. Friend couldn't make it so ended up in anyway.

Hi all,

Today I have had:

B- All bran

L - Jacket Potato with Tuna

D - in the oven at mo is a lovely home-made shepherds pie which I'm going to have with some salad.

Also had a mini yorkie today, bad but nice! Still within my calorie allowance though.

I really want comfort food today though, am cold/hungry. Going to get some ironing done when DC's go to bed in the hope it will keep my hands occupied and not reaching for food!

Yesterday -

B - 2 toast

L - salad & rosemary ham & coleslaw

snack - packet crisps

D - sausage, chips & gravy!

Lost only 1lb this week, but considering I went to a wedding & a birthday night out at the weekend, I am quite chuffed! So thats 9lbs in 3 weeks, still eating fab food - I am impressed with Mr McKenna Grin

Can I join? I'm attempting the Rosemary Conley plan, and this might keep me on the straight and narrow. Yesterday I had:

salad with prawns, smoked salmon & low fat mayo

sausage casserole & rice (reduced fat sausages, chick peas and kidney beans).

A lager & lime and a crunchy Blush

welcome AD, I did Rosemary Conley about 10 years ago, and had some luck with it. Keep up the good work!

So far today I have had

b - 2 wholemeal toast

and plan to have

l - cornish pasty

d - honey roast veg risotto

Have oatcakes in, in case I need a snack at some point.

perhaps your scales were playing up, mine do that sometimes?

I have had cottage cheese, crayfish and a bag of polyol toffees as a one off treat and they were heaven Smile

bacon
loads of pork fillet
some diabetic chocolate around 300 cals worth

Yes poloyol toffees are low carb diabetic type toffees got them in Boots, they have a laxative effect and I was in agony yesterday evening....
