Hi everyone and thanks for the bestowed honour of starting the new thread, Puzzled!

It’s so lovely to have all of you along for the ride on here. Thanks for keeping me company! I love reading how things are going for you and being able to ask questions or share things.

Yesterday, I tried on a fleece top I bought last year. It fit me so snugly last year, I looked like a burst sausage in its casing. Now it’s actually loose. My rings are starting to feel a bit loose too- I wear my mum’s engagement and eternity rings and on the cold mornings, they’re starting to slip down my fingers.

I’m down 1.9kg this week and, although I’m still feeling hungry, it’s not an all-consuming hunger that leads to binging. I’ve actually needed to add more food as what I’ve eaten today and yesterday ended up being 1300 calories and 1100 calories. Given that my watch is still estimating approx 3000 calories burned on a typical day at school, I know I need at least 1600 to have enough oomph. Is anyone else finding the same?

I’ll link this thread in the old one so everyone can find their way here.

aaarrgghhh losing soooo slowly this time around...
no change either over the last few weeks to hip or waist cms...
focusing way more than I did first time around...
Exercising way more than I did then....

losing...but pretty darn slowly....hoping for a little motivational whoosh!

keep focus!
I know that my body has changed since the end of August, I feel and look stronger, so that is a huge positive, and I do know that it isn't all about the numbers on the scales....But they are evidence of change!

I also understood that MJ would probably not work as well 2nd time around, so I am thankful that my weight had pretty much stayed the same during time I had off.

At least suppression is now sufficient for me to not think about food, so there is no chance of slipping in to self sabotaging. That is the problem with seeing no change, I am one of those people who can react by thinking - stuff it (literally!), so brilliant that is not going to happen! I would just feel happier if the £ to Kilo ratio were better!

I know that I am at a 'set point' a weight that I was at for a long time before I put on the added extra that really tipped me in to the obese zone....

Just keep going and I will get to the healthy zone and shift the stubborn belly fat that is so unhealthy....

10 weeks to go until the end of the year.....

Nutrition....Hydration...exercise!

Keep focused everyone!

PS the next mini-milestone for me is to get my trendweight under 12-7. This morning I am at 12-8.1, so maybe in a week or so!

I’ve had a few days away, so weight loss has been achingly slow this week, I won’t have much to report at my official weigh day on Sunday. But it will come.

After that, I will be looking for under 12-5. Because then I will have less than a stone to go to be a healthy weight. I don’t think I can quite believe it, but it is true.

@WombatCowgirl you are so right about mounjaro enabling consistency. The weekends for me are no longer a battle between staying on track and 'treats', as I no longer crave or 'deserve' a treat. I have a square of chocolate if I want one or a small cider or wine, but that's enough. The willpower battles are no longer. I think I love that freedom the most.

@MiaN I hope you are hanging in there. You always write so well and honestly about feelings I'm sure others are having too. My workouts have also tailed off. Can I ask where you get your body pump workouts from please? When trying to lift the dog into the car I've realised more upper body strength may have been lost than I thought.

15lbs down, officially over a stone.
Unexpected sulphur burps on Weds along with bloated tum and gurgling. Lasted until today (Fri). No upset tum thank goodness. Jab tomorrow and I've stayed on 2.5 up to now, so that isn't the cause. I think possibly too much red onion with a late evening meal was the culprit.
I was going to go up to 3.75 tomorrow as I have enough to do that until my next pen. Food thoughts have been creeping in a little more. In 2 minds now. Leaning towards giving it another week on 2.5.
Happy almost weekend everyone. Hope the storms are not causing issues for anyone in the UK.
