No, nothing different, but my body got a reset from my holiday a couple of weeks ago and I think it is still working through it.
I’m sticking to 850-1000 calories, and just plugging away, I’m a bit sick of it, and definitely feeling a lot more fed up with life in general, but trying to take the wins when I can to perk me up.
Before my holiday the loss was getting smaller and smaller each week, and I was getting to about 2-2.4lbs a week. I expect that’s what will happen over the next couple of weeks now.
I want to get to 50lbs by the 28th August (in time for my BILs 40th meal and then my holiday on 30th) - I need a smidge under 2.2 a week to hit that from now, so looking hopeful for me right now. Then I’ll likely do a massive amount of short term damage while I’m away, but long term benefits from doing 20k steps a day in Orlando in August temps. Not sure what will happen with the scales, probably/hopefully a half stone gain followed by the loss of that and another 10lbs over the next 2 weeks. I usually come back from the trip significantly fitter and healthier (even if larger for a couple of days) before seeing a half stone loss on average.
I’m worried that since I won’t jab while I’m away (I get sick for too many days to risk it) that I will fall out of the good habits when I’m back. I also worry that I’ll just get bored and give it up. I’ve reached this amount of loss before and then got bored and fallen into old habits, it’s really worrying to think about. I’m hoping this time because I have my husband fully on board with everything to the point of him weighing food he makes me, and never ever suggesting drinks or snacks or anything (he is a bit of a feeder) that this will be half of the battle. But the thought of stopping and restarting 3 weeks later is a bit of a tricky one for me.
Really good job on hitting 12, that’s my first goal. Keep going and get that cushion so you can have a relax on your trip ❤️
