I haven’t posted a progress update for a while so here goes!

I’ve done 9 x 2.5mg, 1 x 3.75mg and 2 x 5mg jabs so far.

SW - 190.5lb / 86.5kg / BMI 30
CW - 170lb / 77kg / BMI 26.6

Total lost so far - 20.5lb / 9.5kg

I’ve just today reached the lowest weight that I got to last year after losing 3 stone on my own, so hopefully next week I will smash my first goal which is to get below that!!

I am averaging 1 - 1.5lb loss per week which I keep having to tell myself is good and more importantly, healthy!! (Still want it gone quicker though 🙄)

Edited

Wow well done !

Here you go. It's subtle, but there is a difference.

I will point out that I am better looking in real life, and have hair!

Hi ladies,

Been a while since I posted, but I'm still on the wagon! Currently taking 3.7 MJ.

Weight loss so far:

Week 1: 4 pounds loss
Week 2: 1 pound loss
Week 3: 1 pound loss
Week 4: 3 pounds loss
Week 5: 3 pounds loss
Week 6: 1 pound loss
Week 7: 2 pounds loss
Week 8: 3 pounds loss

Sleepeazie · 24/07/2026 12:15

@TeamsThemeTune that isn’t subtle, the difference is noticeable accross your stomach and your derrière in particular. Well done.

TeamsThemeTune · 24/07/2026 12:22

I really need to work on those glutes! My arse is as flat as a pancake.

This is great. How did you do that. I wish I had done it at the start

It's an app called methreesixty - it's free.

It has a little slider too so you can see 'future you' (and an even fatter you as a deterrent).

That avatar thing is amazing. We started on the same day I look like your old avatar, but I'm moving in the right direction. Well done. 👏

KittensAndCupcakes · 25/07/2026 06:45

Love the avatar! And well done, the change is significant.

I’ve just downloaded the app and made one. Wish I had done it before I started although the slider is fairly accurate about my heavier shape.

I weighed myself this morning and the extra 0.5kg has disappeared along with an extra 0.5kg. So now a bit apprehensive about the 5mg pen that I have in the fridge. I’m going to do 2.5 from it tomorrow as I’m on a trip this week and would prefer not to experiment and risk side effects.

mollio · 25/07/2026 09:55

I am still finding 5mg hard at times . It’s a funny one , it’s kind of ok for 24-36 hours after injection ting and then Bam I can barely eat and feel v v thirsty and nauseous if I eat the wrong thing / too much . Am losing 1lb a week approximately , which is fine , but I don’t think my diet is healthy enough as it’s like I can only eat what I am craving - kind of like pregnancy sickness again ! So for example I was able to eat nice fancy multi seed crackers with hard fancy cheese like Comte / Gruyère . Nice yeah , but not very balanced all day ! Another day it’s boiled egg and brown bread . Bananas are a big hit at the moment if just the right ripeness . Small amount of Chocolate or ice cream goes down ok ( not ideal ) . I can eat a ready made ( it’s v good and fresh from a deli ) a few tablespoons of beef stroganoff with a few tablespoons of rice . What the feck do I need to do ? I sometimes feel too nauseous to face cooking and I actually like cooking ! I have ingredients for nice things like caprese or Caesar salad or bruschetta etc but can’t face eating it or making it in the first place …..

This is like I am, but a bit more extreme. I have days where I can’t finish a sandwich.

I just keep persevering through the feeling sick and not being able to eat, because the scale is going in the right direction.

Does your ability to eat come back for part of the week or is it the whole thing.

And does anyone else get a sore mouth and lips, and sore throat. I’ve had it almost constantly since starting the jabs

Well done on all the losses. And I love the avatar, it really shows a difference.

I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks. Still here but feels slow going at the moment. Weigh in today and another 1lb off this week. That’s 19lbs in 12 weeks so averaging 1.5lbs a week which I know is the healthy way to do it. But it just feels a bit relentless. I’m keeping going though!

NettleTea · 26/07/2026 10:02

just a little loss this week, down 0.3 kg, but its still downwards. and I have been on a course all week and bad with the hydration, plus a birthday lunch yesterday, so although initially disappointed its OK

Hillsmakeyoustrong · 26/07/2026 18:30

I have lost the grand total of nothing. And ive eaten very little. No booze, no treats except I had an ice cream today. No idea why excepting the heat has made me very sedentary..

Sometimes I have had weeks like this, and then I’ll weigh myself the next day or day after and I’ll be a pound or so down! Sometimes it really can just be the day. If you know you’ve been good, there will be changes happening don’t worry x

Disappointingly I’m finding side effects (burping/ stomach pain/ diarrhoea) are pretty constant. Worth it for the amazing feeling of freedom and reduced appetite but a bit depressing. Is anyone else finding this? I’ve been on 2.5 since starting mid May, one dose at 3.75. I’m still impressed by the clear head, reduction in anxiety / food noise/ pain in joints. Such an amazing medication. I have lots to loose (approx 8 stone) and imagine I’ll be on mj long term. I feel like I now know what it’s like to have normal feelings around food. X

Yep, hoping its that. But also I have felt due my period for weeks (currently on day 44) and im wondering if its hormonal. Anyway, I just have to keep going.

@Watermelonaddict (Love the username as love the stuff as well) my gastro symptoms have died down barring one where I get a hot wave in my upper left quadrant after eating a meal and it can be quite painful although it passes quickly. That's been with me for 7 weeks and no sign of it settling down.

Yes. I have started to feel fed up all of the time because of the sick feeling. But I keep telling myself that while it is working it is ok, and that it is just my body fighting against the loss because it is having to work so hard.

I’m almost 3st down, looking to lose another 4-6st so looks like I’ll be in the same boat of feeling awful for quite some time.

Stick with it though. You’ll get there

madeinthe80z · 26/07/2026 21:12

Have you tried peppermint Rennie for the nausea? I find it really nips mine in the but if I get any signs of it (specifically peppermint. Extra strong mints can be good too) x
