Im feeling the same @gratefulmezze really good
No.idea if I have lost weight as im away camping but back.on Friday so ill weigh then . Definitely eating less and not ' fancying hungry ' during the day but definately hungry for my dinner in the evening.. I have easily ignored the pasties, fish and chips and ice cream when weve been out this trip. But have had some alcohol and noticed its hit me earlier so not more than a glass ... Im hoping I have lost and will be ordering more this week. I think that I will go up to 4mg as recommended.

user1468915974 · 22/07/2026 12:21

Im trying to watch the food I eat and take a multivitamin. Im concentrating on proteins and even trying to eat slower which is helping me a lot. @Laska2Meryls I also feel that alcohol is hitting me earlier than before. I cant always finish my drink and whats even better is, Ive no desire to.
Feeling OK apart from tiredness.
I dont want to be on the tablets long term so Im hoping I can build good habits and enjoy my food enough to change my lifestyle once Im at my target weight.
Good luck everyone!

I'm two weeks in, I feel amazing. No side effects great food suppression but I can eat normal meals. I had some alcohol at a bbq and felt very nauseous that evening, I am going to avoid alcohol from now on.

I'm the same. I'm just eating three modest super healthy meals - not like me at all. And I've lost 2kgs. Feeling very upbeat and my knee ache has gone. I sound like I'm selling the stuff, but I'm not. (Wish I was. It's so expensive!)

dolphin17 · 22/07/2026 14:10

Week three, finally getting the I’m not that hungry message, just been around my local Sainsbury and I was deaf to the usual call from the crisps, chocolates, etc. lost 4 lbs so far, avoiding anything with too much oil or fat as that seems to trigger tummy upset, how’s everyone else doing? X

Laska2Meryls · 22/07/2026 18:20

Amazing thing. I feel like im starting to eat like naturally slim women I have known who in the past who have said ( without being bitchy etc) that they simply cannot eat a whole portion.

Today: I struggled to eat one and a half sausages with my dinner ( we are eating earlier, because I am getting hungry late afternoon having not wanting lunch ) . But ! I love savoury food and especially things like sausages.. before this I could have easily eaten four ( although I would try to stick to three at dinner but would find myself sneaking the last cold one later in the evening! )
One and a half !! Amazed .. (obvs I am aware that elsewhere on MN people would say that one sausage is a normal portion and any more is greed🙄)

None are left cold to snaffle BTW, I didnt cook so many and the rest have been eaten by DH

Laska2Meryls · 22/07/2026 18:45

We're camping so it was sausages salad and bread.. couldn't eat the bread either !

FloatOn · 23/07/2026 20:06

Has anyone had any weird pains in their neck or back? I had quick Google and it seems like a common thing with the jab, but there's less info on the pills?
Yesterday my neck and left side were quite sore, almost stiff?

Laska2Meryls · 24/07/2026 07:18

No weird pains, I have felt tired though, and am sleeping like a log but that could also be down to being out camping. We are home now and Im delighted to find that I am 4lbs down from when we left 10 days ago. Im on day 17 now of 1.5mg . I have my next lot (4mg) arriving today but will complete month of 1.5 first .
I am getting hungry for breakfast and dinner but eating less as I'm feeling full quite fast and just not fancying lunch or snacks in between.

Fishhooksandjellybabies · 25/07/2026 06:14

I have now completed two weeks of 1.5mgs and I think that my appetite is finally reducing. I've noticed the last two nights that I haven't been able to finish my normal sized dinner and am full two thirds through. This is not usual for me and I am also 3lbs down from my starting weight on the scales this morning. Still no side effects [for which I'm grateful] and feeling hopeful that this might just work for me after all!

OldForANewMum · 25/07/2026 10:10

Hi all, been following the thread with interest - good luck to everyone in your efforts! I read at the start of the thread that Voy don't tell your GP. For various reasons, whilst I definitely want the right checks to be done by the prescriber, I'd prefer my GP isn't notified about this. Are there any other (legitimate!) sources that don't inform GP, does anyone know? Aside: I will be fully honest with the prescriber questions - my BMI is currently 31 and I don't have a lot of relevant medical history to disclose so there's no reason not to be, but anyway I would be for safety reasons.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 25/07/2026 10:16

Hmmmm I don’t know what to do! I’ve been off the pills for a week as I’ve had a virus, also the pills made me crave sugar.
but those of us who are over two weeks seem to be doing really well.
has anyone had sugar cravings? Do they abate?
if I know it will fade I can try again, and just stock up on fake sugar crap to get me through.

ilovebagpuss · 25/07/2026 10:50

2 weeks here and although I have fancied sweet things it's not really been a craving as such. I woukd persevere and just see if it goes away after a few weeks.
I am about 1.5kg down which is good not from any real effort and I still feel hungry but I don't seem to be just eating for the sake of it.
I want to give it at least 2 months and then review. I'm hoping on the higher dose I can do a few fast 800 days.

Hi all, I’m looking to move from mounjaro to wegovy pills to lose last 7lb, only on 2.5 Mounjaro, but I’m not very good at taking large tablets, can anyone tell me the rough size of the tablets please?

They’re very small. Around the size of an antihistamine, a little bigger than the contraceptive pill I’d say.

Roundisashape · 25/07/2026 12:06

@Twoshoesnewshoes my sugar cravings are slowly abating. I just fancy it straight after eating a meal. But can stop again with relative ease after a couple of squares. I'm still hungry at meal times. And have occasional bursts of ferreting through cupboards looking for something good, but more often than not come back empty handed.
I think about food less and go long periods without eating. But I still eat quite a bit at actual meal times. I think I am going to need the 4mg to see a major impact. But I can definitely see that it could work well.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 25/07/2026 13:24

@Roundisashape thats good to hear, thank you- I think we had really similar responses to the pills so it’s good that the sweet cravings are abating.
i think ill give it another go

Chickadeeinme · 25/07/2026 13:56

What I've noticed is that now I have an ability to stop when I've had enough. We went out to eat last night, and (as American portions are notoriously huge) as soon as it arrived I could see I wouldn't finish it, and I left at least a third of it because I'd genuinely had enough.

dolphin17 · 25/07/2026 20:39

As a lot of us are going to be coming up to the end of our first months, I was wondering if anyone was going on to the 4mg from next month, I’m in two minds I have days where it’s a bit like being on MJ then other days where I’m snuffling again. It’s not got the consistency of MJ, I know it’s a slow build up. Also I’m a bit concerned that it’s quite a leap from 1.5mg to 4mg, and there’s no pill cutting allowed as it’s all part of the deal that it’s has to be whole to work properly…Eli Lily probably read my mind!

AprilFlowersMay · 25/07/2026 21:40

@dolphin17 i’m doing another month at 1.5 to see how I go. Slow and steady is ok for me as long as it’s down. I have had no side effects and am finding eating healthier/not snacking much easier. I also think 1.5 to 4 is a big leap and am wondering if I can get away with sticking with 1.5.

Roundisashape · 25/07/2026 22:03

I am moving up to 4 the moment I can. If I'd of had some success with the 1.5 I'd have stuck it out. I wrote to one of the clinicians and they said I should tolerate it quite well with minimal side effects. Let's hope so as I'll be going on holiday 4 days after starting it.

Mariettta · 25/07/2026 22:07

I'm staying on 1.5 as I'm still getting good appetite suppression and I'm losing weight.

Fishhooksandjellybabies · 25/07/2026 22:36

Those of you with sugar cravings, whilst I know it's not that healthy I have found that sugar free jelly hits the spot. I just make up a sachet and that makes 5 small pots, it's cheap and cheerful, virtually no calories and tastes sweet. I have put raspberries in my current batch which makes it feel a bit healthier.
I haven't quite decided what to do about the dosage next month yet but I think I will go up to 4mgs and from a financial point of view I really hope that will do the job and I can stay on that dose long term. I don't think my small weight loss is enough to warrant another month on 1.5mgs - I'm impatient and want to get on with it!

My go to is a pot of sugar free rice pudding with raspberries smushed in. 90 calories and really fills me up and settles my "Wegovy tum" the odd time I feel a bit queasy.

Pistachiomonster · 26/07/2026 00:52

@Thebigonesgetaway very well done you.

Do you mind me asking how old you are, how tall you are, how long it took and how you got round the saggy skin.

I have a number of health conditions I am very tall and a size 22 but suspect I am older than you I go to the gym but my nutrition lets me down. I hate injections but may consider tablets.

socks1107 · 26/07/2026 08:34

I took my first dose an hour ago, but nervous but also excited to finally have made decision
