@WLIcuriousI had a similar drop in effectiveness at the same point - about 6-7 weeks in. I was tempted to increase my dose but didn’t in the end and continued losing (with more effect from me rather than it being very easy to eat at a deficit as it was initially).

I do wonder how much of it is now a placebo effect and I am learning that I can cope with being hungry, and to break some habits around mindless eating.

Are you buying a 2.5 or 5mg pen? I’m using 33 clicks (so 2.75mg) from a 5mg pen. It’s been cheaper than a 2.5mg pen. I’m expecting to get 8 doses as I only went up from 30 to 33 last week - about 6 weeks into this pen.

Are there plenty of pharmacies that allow an 8 week gap? I’ve ordered a few pens a bit early and I’m now on about week 7 of a pen and I have another 5mg in the fridge which will last about 8 weeks.

Last ordered 20 Sept. Don’t want to get moved down to a 2.5mg pen. I’ve got another 1lb to lose to have a BMI of 25 but I have two long holidays coming up so I’m planning to keep to the same dose (or more) until at least Feb.

I am planning to click count with a 5mg or even 7.5mg pen, and need to look at whether buying a bundle works out cheaper but I would be concerned about getting pens with short expiry dates- my first two 2.5mg pens expire in Feb 27. I’m also a bit wary of leaving a big ordering gap.

I have heard about GPs in the USA prescribing pens to last up to 12 weeks to make it cheaper for their patients and I am not worried about using pens for longer than 4 weeks.
