I'm denser than I look with decent muscle mass, so put on some uncomfortably snug shorts and top and flopped my CS overhang out. Then slumped my shoulders and puffed my chin a bit.
The height/ weight/ BMI were honest (I was weighing in with an afternoon BMI of 27.5 that day) but I did maximise its unflattering effects to make it look overweight. I'd just reached my limit on struggling continuously on weight loss being slower than life gains such as going on holiday and feeling restricted in food choices with no benefit for it.
Jab 3 this evening and morning BMI is down to 26.1 today. In my leggings today, I don't feel like my legs are stuffed in like sausage meat which is great.
I'm already feeling better in myself, and looking forwards to feeling better again. I don't need dramatic, and having been weight lifting in recent years, I'm not quite sure where the realistic goal is as it will weigh more than it did prior to muscle gain. I just want to stop feeling relatively heavy and my clothes to fit better again and it's great to feel like I'm getting somewhere.
The effect so far is that I'm feeling sated sooner when eating (more leftovers on the plate) and more resistant to a mindless nibble. My meals are generally decent so there wasn't much room to change there. We had an extended family lunch out last weekend and that evening when my family had pizza, I ended up having yoghurt and berries as that was more appealing, but otherwise I've mainly had my usual meals.
I'd like to say that I'm buying less dark chocolate in... but a teenager seems to be compensating 😂
