Activity has been roughly consistent - I don’t do gym or organised exercise! (I know I should, I just hate the gym so so much!)

Unlikely to be hormonal, im on HRT and have been for years.

Last decent loss was ages ago - it’s taken me 4 months to lose a stone 😩

I keep plugging away but it’s as slow as anything now. And I can accept that. But gains when I really haven’t deviated from my path is hard.

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 04/07/2026 11:04

Hopefully it's just a blip and you'll get it back off next week. It is so frustrating when there isn't anything you can pin it on, but bodies can be very strange things.

TragicMuse · 04/07/2026 11:45

They really can! Thanks for the handhold.

Fffreeeeezing · 04/07/2026 11:50

Week 68

2lb off bringing me to a total loss of 10 STONE 1LB!

Still a way to go but should probably stop to admire the 10 STONE gone forever. 64kg. 141lb.

I've had multiple people not recognise me in the last few weeks, I've been literally ignored until they clock my dog and join the dots together. It's very disconcerting.

Consistantly buying size 16 everything now and they always fit. I even just bought a size 14 skirt (stretchy waist!) and it's does fit, but is stretchy so we'll take that sizing with the scepticism is deserves.

I came completely off blood pressure medication a few months ago and my absolutely knackered knee is now not so knackered, in fact some days I forget there was anything wrong with it, it's pretty much back to full strength despite having been in agony for the last few years following a trip down the stairs.

I now have visible muscles from my 5 times a week strength training, I can safely say I'm not under the category of ripped yet but once I get nearer the end of this journey, I might be nearly ripped at any rate!

I think I may look almost 'normal'

2st10 to original/first target weight (subject to change)

On the theme of 'bodies are weird' this morning when I first got up I weighed myself and I was 87.1kg. I went back to bed for a couple of hours then weighed again when I got up properly and was 86.5! No conceivable reason why I would lose half a kilo in my sleep but I'll take it!

@Fffreeeeezing huge congrats on the 10 stone milestone! You must feel incredible with all the changes. Visible muscles sounds good, I’ve been dutifully doing my strength work and Pilates but not much definition yet!

Thank you so much!
It's my arms and shoulders where it's visable now, my legs are a complete car crash visually, I just try to keep them covered as best I can. I do of course have the extremely droopy bingo wings but my forearms and upper arms are looking great if you ignore the droopy bit underneath 🤣. Shoulders and upper back for the win though!
I gave up Reformer and replaced it with an additional PT session a week so now I do 2 PT sessions and 3 online strength workouts a week. The PT sessions are the ones I lift as heavy as possible and I think 1:1 sessions are so much more beneficial as they are personalised to me. She also has a sadistic streak and eyes in the back of her head, can't get away with even slacking a tiny bit!

PearlsTeapot · 04/07/2026 17:01

@Fffreeeeezing wooooohoooo 10 stone klaxon!

I am thrilled for you that you've hit this milestone and I'm so happy you feel good about it. Not being recognised must be a strange feeling!

Aw thank you @PearlsTeapot it is weird, especially as when you see other threads on here/Reddit etc I'm still (as are a lot of us!) the start weight of a lot of people and they go on about how awful they look and how huge, it's bizarre. If I had to stop at this weight right now (I'm not actually going to obvs) it really wouldn't be the end of the world, I'm fit, healthy and I can wear clothes from literally any shop, what more could I ask for?! (Well if anyone's asking, I'd really like to see a difference in my legs, they don't seem much different and are abnormally chunky 😫)

TragicMuse · 04/07/2026 17:19

Well done @Fffreeeeezing!

I have cheered my mood with clothes shopping the John Lewis sale. Pair of jeans, size 14. A gorgeous dress, size 10! TEN! What a nice little reality check! I’ve done well so far. A blip doesn’t undo all of that. I’ve still lost 7.5 stone.

And have a size TEN dress.

Wow, I can't even fathom a size 10, you've done amazing!

PearlsTeapot · 04/07/2026 17:22

Yes it's my pet hate when I see people say how huge and disgusting they are at their starting weight when it's less than my current weight! I'm 15.1, can't wait to see 14 on the scales but it won't be this week as I've not stuck to my calorie deficit. I don't mind though, I know it'll get there in the next few weeks.

TragicMuse · 04/07/2026 17:24

That has always been a hate of mine too @PearlsTeapot. It’s so tone-deaf.

OvertiredandConfused · 04/07/2026 21:28

Gosh, it’s been a while since I came on here. Just catching up with everyone’s news. Thinking of you @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne. Chuffed you’re home @PearlsTeapot. Lots of folks to congratulate too.

I’m 3.5lbs from target and pretty resigned to the fact it might not happen. I’ve gained and lost the same 2lbs for weeks now. I’m a happy size 14, maintenance is okay and it’s not hard to loose those couple of lbs when they do go on.

Given I stopped for 8 weeks to have my gallbladder removed and then started back on 2.5mg, I’m pretty happy.

I’m going on holiday for 18 days (whoop whoop) on Thursday so I’ll stick with my 5mg and re-evaluate when I get home.

Woohoo! This is amazing. 10 stone is a huge achievement.

I’ve found that I moved very quickly from size 16 to 10/ small; going from about 14.5 to 12 stone. It took going from 24.5-14.5 to get from size 26 to 16! It’s meant I haven’t got as much wear as I’d like from lots of my lovely Vinted purchases so would recommend buying slightly tight.

@PearlsTeapot you look bloody stunning too.

Thought I’d risk a photo on this sunny Sunday morning. Still seems so far to go but good to remind ourselves how far we’ve come, in the first one I had to take off my boot from my ankle break and could barely stand there to get the photo for the first MJ order!

Image not sensitive but didn’t want it just coming up too easily as worry about people in real life seeing!

Oh it was supposed to say at the bottom of the photo, SW 140kg, CW 87.5kg.

Need to be under 70kg to hit BMI 25 😫

Sorry I can see now that it does!
That's a brilliant loss.

MoneyJo · 05/07/2026 09:23

I'm sure this has been talked about before on here but for people who have lost significant amounts I am interested to know if you have much loose skin. I've lost a bit over 3 and a half stone and so far my skin seems fine, but I've got another 5 stone to lose.

Doesn’t seem too bad for me so far, only real loose skin is on my inner thighs and I’m always going to have the c-section stomach overhang. But I feel like the weight I still have to lose is all on my stomach and legs filling it out so not sure how I’ll end up! I think it’s more a genetic and age thing from what I’ve read though so will really vary from person to person.

MoneyJo · 05/07/2026 10:01

Thank you. That's quite reassuring.

TragicMuse · 05/07/2026 10:45

I have wavy arms! Legs and stomach are also a bit saggy but then I’m 61 so don’t have the springy skin of my youth!

I’m ok with it. I’d rather have lost the weight tbh. The only person who sees it and who’s opinion matters is my husband and he loves me whatever so I can live with it.

Might get the kettlebell out though!!
