Great news @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne

I'm miserable in the heat, my bedroom is like a furnace, I have a fan but it just blows hot air around the room. I'm annoyed my last week here is going to be spent uncomfortable with the heat.

I look forward to next summer when I'm hopefully not as fat and can stay cooler! 15 stones still better than 22 stone.

So glad to hear you will get home soon @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne - it sounds like it has been an awful time for you lately. Great to hear you're heading home too @PearlsTeapot.

I have now lost 8 stone and am finally at BMI 29.9 only "overweight" and not "obese"!

Struggling at the moment. I moved up to 10mg a couple of months ago and after a difficult first week the suppression appears to be feeling the lowest of any dose I’ve done since starting. Feels like I have to make a real effort to eat well and smaller quantities whereas it has been easy so far. My weight seems to be stabilising, gain a pound, lose a pound and when I ordered my new pen at the weekend the pharmacist queried that I’m the same weight as when ordering last one and did I want to move to 12.5mg. I said I’d stick with the 10mg once more and move if this plateau continues.

I still have a long way to, am still 16st 7.5lbs so nowhere near where I might finish so feeling a bit low. Am worried in case things are no longer working and it has surprised me by how much that scares me.

Cat4324 · 22/06/2026 22:46

Popping in mid thread for once. I'm on week 34, now down 27.4kg which is 20.3% of my starting weight 🎉 BMI 37.3 which is the lowest it's been in probably 10 years and starting to get some nsv such as being able to run after the dog voluntarily rather than just chasing him because he's misbehaving 😂 With the previous shotsy style apps, I'm in android and use Gala which is free and easy to use, this is the kind of graph I get with it

I weigh in both stones and kg to take all the wins where I can and yesterday hit 50kg loss which is an unfathomable amount! This also took me under 90kg for the first time. Does anyone else find that they can’t really get their head round their new size - some days I feel really slim, others massively overweight still.

I’ve had much increased gastritis pain this week since upping from 4.5 to 5mg but also a whoosh on the scales… I wish I could have one without the other! Maybe have to brave taking to my GP about it again but so scared they will tell me to stop the MJ.

Thought I’d do a stats update as it’s been a while.

Week 58 Dose 5 mg
SW 22 st / 140kg / BMI 50
CW 14 st 1.3lb / 89.5kg / BMI 31.9
GW 11 st / 70kg / BMI 24.9 (for now)
Loss 7st 12.7lb / 50.5kg 36% of SW

MCR24 · 23/06/2026 08:13

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the photos! It's amazing what clothes can hide!

@ConfusedMiddleAger83 I weigh in kg and then translate to stones to also get any win that I can, though currently I'm losing, I'll blame the heat and hormones!

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne did they let you home yesterday? I hope you're feeling more positive today. If the staff caused you issues could you put a complaint in when you're feeling stronger, I'm sure they'll have a system for it in Scotland like they do in England.

SilenceInside · 23/06/2026 08:39

@ConfusedMiddleAger83 I think our stats are almost identical, I was BMI 50 and 140kg at the start too. Congratulations on losing 50kg and getting under 90kg.

I sometimes don’t recognise myself in the mirror, and I look at my clothes and think there’s no way they’ll fit me as they’re tiny, but then they do. I haven’t been this weight as an adult for a couple of decades or so, and even then it was only for a short period of time so it’s not like I was ever used to it.

And, also, like you say, sometimes I still feel massive and can’t see where I’ve lost the weight. Which is crazy as it’s definitely gone!

Morning all! Weigh in day and I've lost my little blip from last week plus a decent amount extra - 2.3kg this week but it's really 1.6kg over two weeks which is more realistic. I'm definitely getting more food noise so I'd made the decision to go up to 6.25mg. It was annoying to do it partway through a pen though so what I've actually done is split what was left in the pen (extra dose is usually about 0.8mls) into two even doses and taken 70 clicks last night which is about 5.8mg. I'll do the same next week then when I start the new pen I'll do 75 clicks each week to give me a dose of 6.25mg.

CW 92.8kg, 46.9kg lost in 43 weeks

You are my inspiration. My start weight was 135.9kg. I only started in March but now 129.7kg. I'm only losing between 0.7-1.4 kg per week but I can see you just stuck at it and over time are getting to where you want to be. I spent 1 month on 2.5mg and only lost 1.5kg all month. Then I spent 2 months on 5mg now I'm on 7.5mg and definitely don't feel hungry at all for first 3 days after dose. I'm moving up to 10mg in 1 more week and have read how many people lose more on 10mg.

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 23/06/2026 09:07

Public service announcement - don't forget we retain water when it's hot so don't be expecting big losses this week!!

TragicMuse · 23/06/2026 09:10

I’m another one who can both marvel at the new me and feel that I look like I haven’t changed a bit, depending on mirror, angle, sitting position etc.

My stomach is still there. Not as big but there all the same. It’s very squishy now and I would like it to go! But then I look at all my clothes and they’re really rather small. Or I put on something that I used to wear and it falls off!

I found another stash of things to go to charity shop, so that’s the weekend job.

Onwards and downwards losers! We have nothing lose but the lbs!

Sorry to hear that you're struggling @TheZingyFish it's such a long process for us that I think there are certainly points where it can all start to feel a bit much. Plateaus and slow downs are nerve wracking, that's for sure. This current heat wave won't be helping either.

I definitely need to remember this- currently have a 2kg gain since Sunday morning which would have meant a 14,000 calorie inbalance 😂

Also hay fever medicine makes you hungrier.

eibbed999 · 23/06/2026 11:53

I'm sorry you're struggling @TheZingyFish - it is so alarming when the miracle seems to stop working! I had similar, and tackled it by having a month off and starting again - but I was already on 15 so had nowhere else to go, and I did do a lot of damage in both the run up to and during the break, so it's not by any means an easy solution. Perhaps just do as you are doing, try and stay calm for the next pen, and then reassess at the end of it.
