I don't mind daily weighing, I don't react emotionally to the number on the scales.
From a practical point of view I value knowing how my weight changes day to day. I've done it for a long time (all the way through my 11months on MJ, and 7st loss) and have not shown this pattern until the last month. Often I will see a random gain (or two) in the week, usually linked to eating carbs, but these are random, not in the current 4 days loss, 3 days gain that I'm now seeing. I suspect it's because my BMI is approaching healthy, so less to lose.
I think i probably undereat after a weekly jab day so over eat (but healthy food) later in the week. That's exactly why I'm moving to daily jabs - I want to find consistency without getting into a habit of eating when I'm not hungry, which is exactly how I ended up morbidly obese in the first place!
Hopefully if I don't have the big MJ surge once a week, instead have consistent levels with daily micro amounts, it will lead to more consistent appetite. Thats the plan anyway. I want to eat intuitively, only when I need to, but in a healthy, consistent way. Getting used to what that might look like at healthy BMI is part of my journey.
