Ego boost from Primark 😂 their skinny mid-rise jeans are not just cheap, they are also stretchy and cut generously. Just fastened mine..... in a size 10...... 😮 Bit of muffin top but I could definitely wear them without too much discomfort!

Best £8 ever spent 😳

Amazing! 🤩
I had a similar experience with Roman last week, I had to send the size 12 trousers back and swap them for 10s. I haven’t been a 10 for over 10 years!

GreenLemonade · 12/10/2026 17:25

Today marks exactly 9 months that I’ve been on mounjaro and I’m in the next stone bracket! Probably temporarily, I’m just barely under 9 stones but it’s still nice to see. I didn’t mean to go down this low but I’m still losing weight slowly despite being in maintenance since early September.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought I would achieve this result.

Incredible successes everyone 👏

I’ve been losing and gaining the same 2lbs for the past 6 weeks🤦🏼‍♀️ So annoying!

SW 12st 11lbs
CW 9st 9lbs

I had a weigh in at the GP earlier and their scales was showing much heavier than mine 😱🤨 The surgery ones looked like it was bought in 1970. I’ll believe mine, but it was upsetting to see 10st on the scales!!

HollywoodTease · 14/10/2026 13:17

Week 40 and after last week's whoosh I have stayed the same. Haven't "been" for 4 days though 😬

Now havering about my decision to stay on 7.5 - maybe I should have gone for 10 after all!

Ralphiesaurus · 14/10/2026 15:14

Gone back up to 7.5mg... pen on order so hopefully will be here soon. Think I got a bit ahead of myself going down to 5mg. I have managed to stabilise, which I'm pleased about - was worried I might keep stacking weight back on - but I would like to lose a smidgen more as I am only just in the normal BMI range. Feel quite relieved to know help is on its way :)

8books · 14/10/2026 15:46

Anyone else super bored of MJ now? 😂 I think I’m done with the weight loss.

Size 10 is loose. Between 9st 8lbs and 9st 11lbs. I don’t want to get too skinny as it ages faces!

GreenLemonade · 14/10/2026 22:05

@8books I might be a bit bored of counting calories and protein. But I’m definitely not bored of shopping for my new body😁 Everything fits, everything looks good, I can pick the clothes I actually like and not just those that fit! If anything, the issue is not all the shops have the smaller sizes in stock🫣

I didn't wear jeans for years because I found them uncomfortable around the waist. Today I finally bought myself a pair of jeans and I feel great in them 😊

(yes, my style is boring but that’s how I like it)

Well done @GreenLemonade! You look great! Your jeans fit really well and really suit you 🤩

Agree on jeans being comfy now! I like just picking something out of the wardrobe and it just looking nice on. Getting dressed used to be a mission.

2026istheyear2 · 14/10/2026 23:32

I also feel like I might be done. Ideally I’d lose another stone but I have an amazing new wardrobe (I seem to have bought half of me and em) and feel great. I even bought a velvet trouser suit a couple of weeks ago which I would never have dreamt of before (nor would I have thought I would fit in zadig and Voltaire French girl clothes!). I’m a size 12 in most places and happy with that.

Thank you - as do you! We can be very proud of ourselves 😀

So the l-on--g stall is over ( thank God ) and the scales are moving in the right direction , 65lbs gone now .

Hettar · 15/10/2026 14:51

Hi everyone.

Week 40 update from me.

SW: 17 st 10 lbs
CW: 11 st 10 lbs
GW: 11 st
Total loss: 6 stone (84 lbs)

So things have slowly started making again and I've lost a total of 6 stone.

I've also started titrating down from 3.75 to 2.5, which I've been in for 2 weeks. I can't say I've noticed much difference in appetite.

I really can't believe how well this has gone and I'm almost at my goal weight. As other people have said every fits nicely on me now. I do t have to worry a out finding the right clothes to hide the fat. It's an amazing feeling.

I'm still in the gym weight lifting 4 days a week, which I'm really enjoying as well.

Great hearing about everyone's updates.

2026istheyear2 · 15/10/2026 16:01

I’m titrating down as well @Hettar and also not noticing much difference between 2.5 and 5 which was my max. Going to try 1.25 and see what that’s like

GreenLemonade · 15/10/2026 16:22

I’m also going down the doses, albeit from a much higher point. I was at 10mg briefly, now I click count to 6mg.

FrostyFlo · 15/10/2026 16:57

I know it's a few months off the end of the year and well done to those at/ almost at target but who of us ( waves , me me ) will be still actively be doing this in the new year and beyond ?
I've lost 65 lbs and realistically can easily still lose another 30+ lbs before anywhere I want to be .
My bmi ideal (18.5 to 24.9 ) is between 6st 13lb & 9st 1lb .
I've never been 6 st 13lb in my adult life and tbh would look as scrawny as hell and anything under 9 stone is bony for me .

I'm obviously short @ 5ft and would be interested to hear from other stories what your aiming for and if you've ever been down to 18.5 bmi did you feel / look good at that size ?

HollywoodTease · 15/10/2026 18:04

Waves back to @FrostyFlo!

I tower a massive inch over you at 5'1 lol and I have just (last week) crept into BMI under 30 territory.

I've lost 63 lbs so far but need to lose another 26 to reach a healthy BMI and ideally a further 10-11 after that to get to mid-bmi range and give myself some wiggle room before I begin to go down the doses again. I'm still thinking I will probably need some kind of dose for life because of the insulin resistance and the positive effect on my IBS but I've told myself not to even start thinking about that until I'm within sight of goal! (Myself isn't listening to me though, typical 🙄😁)

So as well as I'm doing, I have a way to go yet. But I'm happy now to keep doing it slowly and (mostly!) happy on my current 7.5.

I think it's going to be well into the new year before I get to where I want to be, but I have some closer short-term goals to go for to try and stop me from losing hope!

Yes and me , at least until the first half of next year , I'll be staying on it as well .
I'm on Wegovy as that was suggested due to some health issues .

8books · 15/10/2026 20:34

Love your new suit @2026istheyear2! Gorgeous colour and fit.

Interesting to see people moving back down the doses. I’m still on 7.5mg, which is too strong really. I’ve vomited a couple of time this week, so think I’ll do 5mg next time. Still in a plateau, but also don’t mind staying where I am weight wise.

glutenisthedevil · 15/10/2026 20:50

It's great to read that so many of you are at/around goal already and are coming down the doses and thinking of maintenance. Well done!

I was on 3.75mg for most of this year but recently moved up to 5mg because I was frustrated with being stuck at the same weight for 3 weeks. Things are moving again, albeit slowly, but I expect that progress will be slower now that I'm only a stone off my goal weight. I'm hoping to achieve it by the end of this year and then possibly move to a low dose tablet to see if that curbs the food noise without more weight loss.

I'm comfortably in a size 14 now and will be happy at a 12.

Onbdy · 16/10/2026 11:35

@HollywoodTease @FrostyFlo Fellow shorty here! I’m just over 5ft 1. I’ll probably still be carrying on into the new year as well.
Another pound off for me this week after moving up to 8.4 and I lost a pound so 72.5 in total. I had mild cramping but no real other side effects so moved up to 8.6 this week. I was hoping for a better loss but I have been ill this week and that usually means my body holds onto fluid. I’ve not been able to exercise either.
At the moment I’ve set myself a mini goal of 9st 13. This is still technically 7 pounds over BMI but I’m already finding size 12s are getting too big and don’t really want to be smaller than a 10. I also have a very hourglass type figure so wide hips and massive boobs. I exercise regularly and according to my body composition scales my muscle mass is excellent too so I’m not sure how accurate BMI is for me. I think I’ll see how I feel when I get to 9st 13. I definitely can’t imagine being 7 stone!

Onbdy · 16/10/2026 11:38

@GreenLemonade @2026istheyear2
You both look amazing! 🤩 Well done!

BeWildPearlFish · 16/10/2026 20:22

Nice to see some fellow 5footers
Ive moved down to 3.75 from 5mg and planning to move down to 2.5 after my current pen finishes. Interestingly for the last 2 weeks I've jabbed in my thigh instead of stomach and feeling a lot of suppression even with the lower dose.

SW 13st
CW 9st 4lb

FrothyCothy · 17/10/2026 21:24

I would imagine I’ve potentially got a good while to go yet. I have just got down into the next stone bracket, not seen since Covid times, but it’s taken me 6 months of faffing to get there. I have probably 2.5 stone to go until I am anywhere near a healthy weight. So no end in sight yet.
