Hi everyone.

Not a huge amount to report form me. I've lost and gained the same pound for the last 3 weeks. I'm still eating the same but the losses have stalled. I'm only a stone away from my goal if 11 stone.

I'm going to start incorporating more walking in my day to see if that helps. I could reduce my calories but really don't want to as it'll impact my weight lifting. I don't want to lose much muscle.

glutenisthedevil · 29/09/2026 08:40

Weigh-in #38 and the scales are finally moving after 3 weeks stuck at 11 stone 12. I moved up to 5mg this week (previously on 3.75mg) and that seems to have done the trick.

Hope everyone's doing well.

SW: 16.6
CW: 11.10
GW: 10.7
Total loss: 66lbs

That's positive , well done you. My body has decided it want to add 3 lbs this week !

Logically ( but still mightly pissed off ) I know it's not actual fat gain because I'm still plodding on as per usual , so it must be fluid retention which also happened in the hot weather as well .
I'm ( was ) 2lb short of dropping down into the next stone bracket as well and it seems a long way off now .

glutenisthedevil · 29/09/2026 09:56

@FrostyFlothat's so frustrating, especially when you were in touching distance of another stone bracket. Keep plodding; hopefully the scales will catch up soon!

Lovingtheglitter · 29/09/2026 11:55

I’ve paused my mounjaro journey for the foreseeable as I had my gall bladder removed last Wednesday and I’m in a slow painful recovery. I’m still weighing weekly and am still losing but priority is to get better right now.

HollywoodTease · 29/09/2026 12:21

Best wishes for a speedy recovery @Lovingtheglitter

I'm checking in for the first time in a fortnight as I've been away (again)

Week 37

SW 99.9kg
CW 74.1kg
Loss this week (2 weeks really) 0.55kg (1.2lbs)
Total loss 26kg (57lbs)

So still plodding along on my 7.5.

Festival season is over now so I can hopefully get back to proper cooking and no alcohol for the next few months! If I'm still plodding/stalled at the end of Oct I might look at going up to 10 but suppression/food noise is still ok - I have some hunger occasionally but I know I need to learn to deal with it healthily (glass of water, small snack) instead of stuffing my face to the point of discomfort like I used to so I don't think it's actually a bad thing.

I hope you see some movement in the right direction soon too @FrostyFlo. Like you said, it's probably just water weight but I know how frustrating it can be when you're still doing everything "right" but the scales betray you!

glutenisthedevil · 29/09/2026 12:31

All the best for your recovery @Lovingtheglitter

FrothyCothy · 29/09/2026 21:17

All the best @Lovingtheglitter - was that connected to WLI or an existing issue?

Lovingtheglitter · 29/09/2026 21:51

Thanks for the well wishes I am getting better but the op has floored me tbh and I wasn’t expecting to feel so ropey!
I think looking back I have had very very mild grumbling of my gallbladder and 8 weeks ago I was getting a lot of pain and it really ramped up. I don’t think the jabs have caused the stones directly but I do think losing weight has. I have lost nearly 5 stones since January which is a lot and stones are caused by bad diet initially which I did have for years and then weight loss which has happened.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 30/09/2026 10:45

I haven't posted for a while but I'm still following. I had a gain this week. 0.9 kg that I'm trying not to meltdown over. I've been aggressively hydrating for the last 24 hours in preparation for my osteoporosis treatment later today. I'm hoping it's just water weight.

SW: 135 kg
CW: 101.9 kg
Total loss: 33.1 kg

Octagoneaway · 01/10/2026 22:12

I’ve been on holiday for the last two weeks. So I missed a jab, as I didn’t want to bring it with me, and didn’t want the side effects whilst away. Meals have been a bit up and down as I’ve been hiking and camping. It’ll be interesting to see what the scales say. I feel like I deserve a loss for all the walking, but probably not due to all the sugary snacks I’ve consumed😬.

GreenLemonade · Yesterday 00:03

Wishing you well @Lovingtheglitter!

I’ve been maintaining weight for a month now. I’m 1 to 2 lb below the lower end of my target weight range. I’m going down the doses very slowly, currently click counting to 7mg. I might try 6mg next week.

I had a non scale victory today. I went to M&S to buy some wide leg trousers. One of my goals was to fit into an M&S size 12. I’ve heard they changed their sizes recently and that their trousers are now smaller so i was a bit apprehensive. I took a bunch of size 12 trousers to the fitting room, only to find they were all way too big for me😂 10s fitted well in most styles, I even needed 8s in some😂 The waistbands on those trousers seemed so small, I couldn’t believe it was actually comfortable 😂

Onbdy · Yesterday 09:17

A pound off for me this week, happy with that after a few days away last week and a few extra treats. 70.5 in total now. I am definitely noticing a bit more hunger and I’ve lost less weight over the last month so I’m going to move up to 8.75 next week.
@GreenLemonade It’s s good feeling isn’t it? I had a similar issue in New Look when I took a load of size 12 trousers into the fitting room and they were all too big. In my case I think they are generous sizes but I’m still classing it as a victory! My M&S jeans fit perfectly in a 12 and I have ordered two pairs of work trousers from there in a 12 that I’m picking up later. Fingers crossed they are fine too! 🤞

Hope you have a smooth recovery @Lovingtheglitter! I had the same op nearly 20 years ago. Really rough recovery (it was excruciating). Much better in a few months
