Very slow here but I’m still on 2.5 as I’m planning to come off soon, and I’m very close to goal weight so I think it’s to be expected in my case. Still eating 800-1000 calories a day and exercising daily.

GreenLemonade · 10/07/2026 11:16

Slowed right down for me too, I only lost 2lb in the last month. I averaged 2lb a week for the first 5 months of this year. I only 5lb left to my original goal, 10 to the revised goal, and it’s taking ages.

Interestingly, I was this exact weight for over a decade in my late teens and twenties and spent that entire time trying and failing to lose the very same 10lbs😂

Hettar · 10/07/2026 11:45

I think the closer we're all getting to our goal weight does mean that the losses slow down.

The weather is probably having an impact. If you still eating the same then weight loss will come eventually.

CatNoBag · 10/07/2026 12:53

Mine has ground to a halt, but so has my diet and exercise campaign so the fact I haven't gained is good news. I'm in 5mg, I think it still having an effect on me (I'm always late making dinner because I'm just not that hungry!), but not as strong as it was initially. I think not a bad thing, as I need to train myself not to go back to bad habits once I do come off, so I'm hoping to get back to losing again once I get back to a bit more structure in my routine and exercising again (which I normally do regularly, just life and a bad cold have gotten in the way recently!)

FrothyCothy · 10/07/2026 14:47

I’m similar in that I’ve stayed about the same - well, lost about 1.5 kg but some of that was holiday gain. But haven’t been to the gym and have barely walked a step as work has been crazy so am glued to a chair (and too hot to use treadmill!). I’m thinking get through the heat of summer and hit the routine again in September, hopefully having maintained or seen a small loss.

There has also been too much ice cream 😬

Ralphiesaurus · 10/07/2026 16:08

Yes same here @FrostyFlo - I have apparently gained back the weight I lost last week even though I'm not hugely hungry and clothes are getting looser. Weird! I do hope it's the heat. Just imagine if we get a massive loss as soon as Autumn arrives!!

Onbdy · 10/07/2026 16:30

I imagine weight loss slows when you get closer to your goal. I still have 2/3 stones to go and Im hoping to get there by Christmas or just after. I’m eating around 1000 calories a day (1300 at the weekend) and going to the gym 3 times a week. I go very early in the morning which helps with the heat.

FrostyFlo · 10/07/2026 17:56

Thanks for all your replies . I'm sorry to hear that some of us are not getting good losses of late .
As some of you suggested , I can see the logic of slowing down to those of us close to GW , but ( unfortunately ) I do not fall into that category and still have more to lose than I have to date ( 47 lbs )

Hopefully it will get going again soon.

2026istheyear2 · 11/07/2026 18:14

Hello all. 1.3 pounds off this week and finally in the 11s. It has definitely slowed for me - I’m now 65 pounds down and about 10 from goal so to be expected.

However I’ve managed to lose every week for 27 weeks (although one week was 0.2 pounds!) which I am astounded by. I’m still on 5 and think I will stay here now as I can still go out socially and enjoy meals but stick to one cornetto instead of having that as well as a load of other snacks! I’m also exercising less in the heat - it’s far too hot for my Peleton - but I have started swimming a couple of times a week.

It’s amazing how far we have all come since January! I love dressing up in all my new dresses this summer and just generally feeling so much healthier. I had a cholesterol test which came back as optimal - some way from a suggestion of statins at the end of last year which was my final push to start MJ.

thefluffycat · 11/07/2026 22:07

The scales moved today: 10 st 4lbs so now a 57lb loss and so close to goal!

glutenisthedevil · 12/07/2026 09:43

Weigh-in #27 and 1.5lbs off this week. Only 1.5lbs away from 4 stones, which seems crazy to me.

8books · Yesterday 07:33

New number on the scale this morning! 🎉

63.9kg. It’s still 10st 1lb, but it was lovely to see a 63 😂 Also, clothes are fitting very well and I wore shorts this week. Happy!!

Perianth · Yesterday 10:02

I'm still here and still losing too! My nerdy little excel spreadsheet tells me I'm averaging a 1.82 lb loss per week (now on week 27).

I ordered a 7.5 pen last time, as I felt my losses had slowed down and food noise increasing, but I've had a further good two weeks on the last of my 5mg pen so now thinking I will just click count from this pen and stick with 5 after all. Should I come clean with my supplier do you think, and take a break to catch up, or just stockpile? If I use 5mg doses from this 7.5mg pen it will last me 7 weeks with the golden dose, so quite a saving, especially since the 5mg pens no longer have the golden dose.

HollywoodTease · Yesterday 10:22

This will put me to anyone who knows me but I am Super Happy today.

Currently away in my moho (again!) but last week I went to see my fave band in the world and I bought a MEDIUM t-shirt. I cut the neck and sleeves out (I often do this anyway) to make it into a vest, brought it with me this last weekend despite thinking it probably wouldn't fit but guess what?

A bloody MEDIUM, not my usual XL, occasional 2XL or recent L.

Can't believe it! 😎

A surprise 2lb loss this week, bringing the total to a round 50. Surprise because I ate to maintenance for 3 out of the last 7 days. Bodies are weird.

I think I need to shift focus from weight to body fat %, which currently stands at 31%. It’s much better the 40% I started from, but still far from optimal. I don't want end up skinny fat.

Tell me more about this @GreenLemonade because I have one of those fancy scales and this is one metric that is not shifting very quickly at all. It’s gone down from 41 to 34 but that’s still in the obese range. My muscle mass metric is at the top end of high though. I find it a bit confusing! Maybe I’m just fat and muscular!

GreenLemonade · Yesterday 20:31

@Perianth I’m no expert either. My muscle mass was also very high initially but it has shifted into the average category since. I guess it might be quite common for heavier people to have high muscle mass underneath the fat - after all, we’re lifting lots of body weight every minute of every day!

The body fat metric is frustratingly slow to improve for me too. While my DH, who is also on mounjaro, somehow managed to move from 25% body fat to 15% in just 3 months with hardly any effort at all.

I don’t have any good advice beyond the usual protein + strength training, which so far I haven't managed to implement myself 🫣
