I have just downloaded couch25k. Gulp. Going to start tonight if it stops raining long enough. Wobbling along to the dulcet encouraging tones of Sarah Millican will be a laugh if nothing else, right? 😬😁

Good luck. I’ve done it before, and it’s good. Just keep going!! All movement is good for us!!

something for me to think about too…. My PT has offered me double sessions for the next month to try to get my weight loss moving. He was advocating more walking too. It all helps

Octagoneaway · 10/06/2026 12:38

I need to order my next pen. And I don’t know what to do. My weight loss is glacial. I’m not very hungry, but I’m finding it hard to resist the things I shouldn’t be eating. So do I stick at 7.5 for another month and increase movement, or move up to 10???? I just don’t know.

I don’t feel sick, but mildly queasy and tired, so I’m reluctant to make it all worse, but would like to push on through the next stone, which will probably get me to where I’d like to be. But if it takes 2 months that shouldn’t be a disaster…. Argh!

Ralphiesaurus · 10/06/2026 13:00

@HollywoodTease Sarah Millican is perfect on it! I can still hear her voice as she tells you how well you've done and you might want a snack. Hope you enjoy! I do so little exercise at the moment. I walked to and from a meeting up the road earlier so did 6k steps but this is rare... ack

Next jab today 7.5mg and still dithering over the next pen to order. Will probably stick to 7.5 as my weight loss is also "glacial" like @Octagoneaway ... but clothes are fitting better which is a win, right?!

bec81 · 10/06/2026 20:59

Good loss here today, down 1.4kg, so a running total of 17.2kg. Im pretty happy where im at now, 64.3kg. Well inside the healthy bmi. Excercise definitely makes all the difference for me. On the weeks I excercise better, I lose better. Im doing a good mix of running (7ish km a couple of times a week) and weights classes (3-4 per week), and the odd pilates class.

thefluffycat · 10/06/2026 23:16

Well done everyone!

3 stone 8lb loss here now! It’s been very slow for a few weeks but I’m still on 2.5 (from 5mg pens - and I’ve just started my last one) - so to be expected.

SW: 14 st 5
CW: 10 st 11
height: 5’6”

I’m feeling great! I’m fitting nicely into my old clothes and no longer hiding behind my jacket/ coat - the excess weight has gone from all the right places and I’m very happy with my shape! I’m still exercising daily - a mix of weights/ cardio/ toning exercises plus using my treadmill in the evenings for extra walking.

8books · 11/06/2026 08:39

Still stuck at 10st 4lbs, which is tedious!! Especially as I don’t eat much at all, with zero appetite. I’ve been lax on lifting weights this week. I’m on 10mg which makes me vomit for the first few days after the jab. But when it comes to jab day, I feel fine again so stay at 10mg, then repeat.

Recovering from surgery so limited on exercise.

Sorry for the indulgent moan!! I know I’m being ridiculous. I’m 35lbs down. Clothes looks great and there’s compliments aplenty from others 🤦🏼‍♀️🤭

7 weeks till holiday and I’d hoped to be done by then. 12lbs to go, which now seems impossible with no loss this week!!

Maybe my body doesn’t want to lose more 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone else stuck?

FrothyCothy · 11/06/2026 09:23

I’m still chipping away at my holiday gain - knocked 5lbs off that since end of last month but a couple to go to get back to where I was before we went. Don’t feel 1mg is as effective for me as 0.5 was weirdly so after this month I may have to bite the bullet and go up to the next dose.

Very annoyingly DH gets tonnes of comments about his weightloss, which is about the same as mine 😆 I think he has lost particularly from his belly so it’s very noticeable whereas I think mine has probably gone a little from all over. That’s what I’m telling myself anyway as everyone pats him on the back and asks him how he’s done it 😂

Ive been stuck a few times and even have had a few gains, but generally its going in the right direction with a few good drops after the pauses. Keep at it

@8books i am stuck too! In fact gone slightly up this week despite feeling like I’m not eating enough. I have been working out again and have some muscle soreness so wondering if it’s a bit of water retention. But I feel the same as you - I’ve lost over 40lbs, approaching GW, and probably can afford to slow down. However I really want to get over this hump and into proper “normal” bmi until I start thinking maintenance! So after I finish this 7.5mg pen I am going up to 10mg.

That’s really interesting to see the changes and when they occur, @bec81! I’ve only recorded my losses on here. Need to remember it’s not all linear 😊

Thanks for sharing @ThisAmusedPoet. I hadn’t thought of water weight, muscle gain or even in my case, constipation adding to what I see on the scales 😆

40lbs is fantastic, well done!!

Im going to change how I think about my loss!! It’s better to think about it as 35/47lbs, so 12lbs left!! Three quarters of the way done 👏 😊

Perianth · 11/06/2026 13:25

I am itchingly close to seeing a 12 on the scale again, for the first time since my 20s I reckon. 13.0.2 this morning! Hoping for a victory lap tomorrow.

I've lost 49lbs so far, and am down from size 20 to 14/16, but literally only 2 people have commented! It's super noticeable to me, and I do have new clothes that actually fit. Hey-ho. I'm delighted, even if no-one else is!

thefluffycat · 11/06/2026 17:38

I was stuck and read about people changing location (i.e. from stomach to thigh). My DH tried it first last week and lost more than he had been recently, so I did too and the same has happened to me!

I have 8 or so weeks left till the end of my last pen and am 11/12 lbs away from my goal!

So you’re now injecting in your thigh? @thefluffycat did it bruise? My tummy has fat but my thigh doesn’t really

We're very nearly the same. I've lost 50lbs and hit 12 stone 12 last week. I've also gone from an elasticated 18 (so probably a 20) to a 14/16. I have had people notice though.

Congrats on your weight loss. Hopefully you'll see that 12 very soon!

Yes, I did the front of my thigh a few days ago, and it hasn’t bruised whereas my stomach often does. Mine doesn’t either really. I did the opposite thigh to the one with my HRT patch, which I also have to change around but twice a week - I’ll need to work out a system or it could get confusing! I read that some do the arm too.

Perimenoanti · 11/06/2026 21:31

Took my 8th dose of 1mg wegovy yesterday and somehow the side effects have become stronger. I feel extremely nauseous to the point I worry I dont drink enough. I feel extremely sick.

Perimenoanti · 11/06/2026 21:33

I always inject into my left thigh. My stress levels have reduced and my sleep has improved. I dont know if this helps to absorb the wegovy better. It is just too much.

thefluffycat · 11/06/2026 22:06

@Perimenoanti sorry you’re suffering with side effects, I hope you feel better soon.

Onbdy · 12/06/2026 08:22

Only half a pound off for me this week, I have been back at the gym so I’m putting it down to that. Still on 6.25, my clothes are definitely fitting better.

FrostyFlo · 12/06/2026 08:59

Inspired by those that inject into the thigh , I've just jabbed mine there for the first time as have always gone for the stomach . Can't see how it will make a difference weight wise but will be interesting to see .

Perianth · 12/06/2026 09:49

Bingo! Happy dance for me this morning. 12 something!!
