@bec81 congrats on your weight loss! what's your goal weight? Have you started thinking what you're going to do for maintenence?

I had initially thought around 60kg, but I think im too old for that weight now. That was my ideal weight 20 years ago, but in my mid-40s im afraid that might be too low. I feel great now, not sure I have too much more to lose. But I dont want to pike it back on either so will think about finding a maintenance dose maybe at 63kg

Has anyone on Wegovy gone up to 1.7 mg after being on 1 mg for a month?

I think that's the progression. Not sure what to do for next pen.

I haven't weighed myself today, as I had played alot of compeditive tennis during the week (a couple 2.5 hour singles matches in that heat 🥵) and I usually swell with the water. Might leave it till Monday/when it might be cooler.

Edited

Ive just started a 1mg pen, so ill see where im at in a couple of weeks

I've stayed on 2.5mg since starting in January, over the last few weeks I'm noticing less suppression and more of an urge to snack. I had to refill so ordered a 5mg. I’ve still got the golden dose to use in my 2.5mg pen, if I syringe it all out is that like a mid dose between 2.5 and 5?

It depends on how much you get out with the syringe I would have thought

Perimenoanti · 29/05/2026 22:02

goldylock · 29/05/2026 20:23

Do you still have quite good appetite supression from your second 1 mg pen?

It certainly is more suppressed and for longer than on the lowest two doses. I never had great supression. I still need to try not to snack quite often, but I need wegovy to work for a very long time so am doing each dose until it becomes really difficult to lose more weight.

I don't mind going slow and tbh on the last month of 0.5 I only lost 2kg with great effort and it was nice to get a break from all the whooshing and clothes getting too big.

Hit 4 stone off today at official weekly weigh in - lots of us hitting big milestones! I think I have about a stone to go and will then review whether I want to lose a bit more. My supper tonight has however been crisps and some chocolate so also need some refocusing! Not big volumes and I think it is mainly because I have eaten so well for months and it’s just got slightly monotonous.

Cece92 · 29/05/2026 22:38

i Have just done my first jab 10 mins ago. Took my vitamins this morning, filled up on water and protein throughout the day. Put it off all evening got into bed with my shorts on so done it in the thigh. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worse with side effects. Let’s see how I get on this week ☺️

I am really please you have done so well. But also slightly jealous, some of us are not hitting big milestones. 🤣 I am definitely struggling the last month or so and it’s been slow and steady all the way until recently. I am at 2 1/2st.

GreenLemonade · 30/05/2026 00:01

@bookwormcrazy it's an amazing result, congratulations! It’s easy to compare yourself to dramatic transformation stories on this thread, but 2.5 stone in 5 months is not slow by normal standards. That’s roughly 1.5lb a week which is actually a strong, steady rate of weight loss. You're doing great!

I think 2.5 stone is also a big milestone! We all lose at slightly different rates but the key is that with the help of WLI we are all going to get to our goals.

I know. I’m just feeling sorry for myself. 🤣 At the minute I seem to not loose anything for a few weeks and then suddenly drop a couple of lbs over night.

Cece92 · 30/05/2026 08:18

I done my first jab last night and I’ve woke up about 20 mins ago with a bit of stomach cramps and been to the toilet twice….. is this a normal side effect? My friend who’s on it said she’s the opposite where she can’t go

BeWildPearlFish · 30/05/2026 09:15

I've jabbed and weighed and have lost 1lb which was a lovely surprise.

I'm rethinking moving up to 5mg now as I'm still losing so have emailed Bolt to ask if the order can be amended

SW 13st
CW 10st 6lb
GW 10st

@Cece92 if you find the paper leaflet that came in the box with the injection pen, there will be a whole section on possible side effects and how common they are. Gastric side effects are common, and can be constipation or the opposite. They are most likely to happen when you start taking the medication or when you move up a dose.

I was about to say the same. It’s very common to have side effects when starting or increasing a dose. I suffered last week. Drink plenty of water, they should be short lived symptoms anyway.

Cece92 · 30/05/2026 10:44

Thank you. I went back to bed for a bit as I am exhausted. I’ve got my electrolytes with me here in bed. I’m glad I done it over the weekend and not during the week with work xx

glutenisthedevil · 31/05/2026 12:47

Weigh in #21 today and another pound off- 47lbs / 3 stone 5lbs in total.

I had been hoping for a bigger loss this week as I'm very close to the weight I was when I first joined WeightWatchers many many moons ago (back when I thought I was really fat, how little did I know!)

I just took the golden dose of my 5mg pen and there was exactly 5mg left so I used it all, rather than stick with the 3.75mg I've been taking. We'll see how this week goes. Hopefully no GI issues!

BG2015 · 31/05/2026 14:50

Gained a bit but back on it now. Need to focus and lose that last bit

if anyone wants a code DM me

Lovingtheglitter · 01/06/2026 06:51

I have lost 4lbs this week which is a huge amount for me - I usually lose between 1-2 lbs. I have been eating a lot of salads this week as it’s been so hot and been digging up a patio in the garden and making a lawn. So that’s probably why! Starting week 20 and a total of exactly 3 stones now

Perianth · 01/06/2026 14:45

Got to love a surprise whoosh @Lovingtheglitter 4lbs!

I’m happily plodding along, still on 5mg, still losing. Weigh-in 20 on Sunday brought me to a total of 47.2lbs lost. That averages at 2.36lbs per week, but that’s including those bigger losses in the earlier weeks. It’s more like 1.5-2lbs/week now, which is nice and steady.

I’ve decided not to buy any more brand new clothes, since the ones I excitedly bought just a couple of months ago are already too big and some of them still have tags on! Foolish. From now on it’s Vinted or the charity shop!

8books · 01/06/2026 18:58

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Did my second click count to do 10mg yesterday. Honestly, I think it’s too high. I can’t eat today. I’ve had a piece of toast and a boiled egg so far 🤔 Trying to eat Greek yoghurt, but it’s a struggle.

I’m 66kg, 15kg (34lbs) down. BMI 22.8.

My goal is 60kg, but my chest is starting to look boney so I may need to reconsider what a good weight looks like at mid 40s!! I think what looked good at 35 isn’t the same now.

I think “mounjaro face” is a thing too!! I can see my cheekbones emerging. So it’s a balance now to look good, but also stay strong and healthy. Obviously eating nearly no food isn’t healthy 🤦🏼‍♀️

Is anyone else struggling to eat?

Well done @Perianth 👏
I am averaging about 1.5 a week too.
I agree about the clothes. Most things I bought even 8-10 weeks ago are now to big. Quite a few things that I haven’t even had the chance to wear yet! 🤦‍♀️I have started buying from Vinted and Shein.

2026istheyear2 · 01/06/2026 22:48

I was thinking that I hadn’t really moved down from a size 16 which I have been for a couple of months but then trying on some very old clothes this morning some old 14s and one 12 fitted so I have decided clothes sizing is totally random! Some of my 16s are now far too big and others are just fitting so 🤷‍♀️

HollywoodTease · 01/06/2026 22:49

I'm not struggling to eat at all, I've still been hungry this last week despite using my golden dose to go from 5 to 6.25. I will start 7.5 tomorrow.

I have a query for those who are click-counting to move up and doing more than one jab at a time though - are you using separate needles for each jab or using the same one? So if doing 7.5 from a 5mg pen it's click to 1, jab, click-count to 30 and jab again. I'm thinking 2 needles to reduce infection risk (I've got plenty of spares) but a friend who did it a few months ago said she just wiped the needle with her antiseptic swab and jabbed again. Sounds dodgy to me!

HollywoodTease · 02/06/2026 10:07

Jab #20, my first at 7.5mg and after doing 6.25 last week I have fallen off my 3-week plateau!

SW 99.9kg
1st GW 90kg 10% loss jab 11
2nd GW 84kg Class 1 obese jab 20
CW 83.65kg
Loss 16.25kg, or 35.75lbs which is a smidgeon over 2.5 stone.

So back to plodding, average loss is about 1.75lbs per week which I'm happy with.

Still a bit jealous of some of you who are in the 40-50+ lbs territory already but then I remind myself that this is my journey, and 2.5 stone is better than the nothing I have achieved over the last 6 years of calorie-counting, keto and intermittent fasting so I'll take it!

Also measured. So far I have lost 1.5" from my neck, 3" each from my bust and waist and 4" from my hips.

I reckon I'm still doing ok. 🙂

HollywoodTease · 02/06/2026 10:13

Oh and going back to the theme of the previous thread I have now lost a mid-range full-suspension mountain bike or a small border collie - wow! 😂 🚲 🐕😂
