Aww.. i am sorry to hear that.
Try taking a break about 2- 4 weeks (you are on a lower dose so 2 weeks may be fine). Then start at 0.6mg every 1 week, see how you feel. If side effects absent/minimal after a couple of weeks (or more), increase to 1mg. Go up in increments of 0.25 and see if you can find a sweet spot.
A few posters on other threads have had similar to you.

I had another work dinner last night and will have another one tonight (starting to really see what the challenge has been and why I’ve put weight on these last few years…).

Last night was really hard. It was a fancy restaurant and a tasting menu so lots of small dishes but all very rich - truffle risotto and cheese etc. I tried to minimise what I ate and allowed them to pour me wine but I didn’t drink it (so as not to make an issue with it). Even so, I know I had too much rich food and had a very disturbed night’s sleep. Ugh.

I am trying to move tonight’s dinner to a sushi restaurant so at least I can have small, protein-rich sashimi or something.

I wish restaurants did half portions!

It’s my 2nd jab today and I weighed myself this morning and I am down 1.85kg/4lbs in 2 weeks. I am happy with than as I do not want to loose the weight quickly. Kicking myself that I did not weigh myself at home last week as the scales at the doctors were lower than my home ones. So going to carry on using mine as a baseline and for consistency.
So far no side effects.

Weigh in number 4 this morning and I'm down 12lb now in total. Golden dose tonight and then next pen is 2.5mg again as steady loss is good with me.
Any non scale victories out there? I did up a pair of jeans that definitely did not do up last month!

Well done! Another 2lbs for me too. Good luck with the extra dose tonight I'd like to hear if it went OK as I'm doing mine tomorrow night!

Morning!

Week 1 - 3.5kg
Week 2 - -0.2kg
Week 3 - so far -0.9kg (Thursday morning) after 3 days
Total loss : -4.6kg or -10.1lbs in 2 and a half weeks

I am still in PMS time of the month with period any day now, so finally starting to feel this bloating go away!
i was getting quite disheartened last week with the scales and physical feeling at a standstill despite best efforts.

overall super happy with the loss so far. I’m very close to being under 20 stone

The extra dose was easy to do, just followed the instructions from someone else in the thread. No dramas.

Interestingly I ordered through pharmacy2u and the pack included a 5th needle and alcohol wipe - not sure if was an accident or not but seems all set up for a 5th dose, will have to see if the pen will click through on week 5🤞

@NeedSleepNowPls , the pen would not click through on week 5, if you have been taking full doses.
It would need a hard twist to break the mechanism stopping it from clicking.
The 5th needle is a spare in case any of the needles are defective or something,

I’ve come to the conclusion that 5mg isn’t for me. I’ve not managed to keep anything down since Monday. I am forcing myself to eat my evening meal, which is by no means enough calories and very bland (grilled chicken with rice/salad/jacket). I then spend all night wing the sulphur burps before inevitably bringing everything up in the morning. I’m exhausted from not being able to sleep due to the burps, soooo nauseous and starting to feel quite weak. Think I’ll go back down to the 2.5.

I did my 2nd weigh in today and lost 2.8 lbs which I'm disappointed at after last weeks' good loss, but I'm due on my period so maybe it's hormonal. Plus I'd have been delighted with a kilo loss before being on this so will stay positive and look forward to next week!

This jab feels much stronger so far and I feel so sick this morning, had a tiny amount of cereal and still left some so glad the appetite suppression is back again! It definitely ran out towards the end of this week.

How's everyone getting on this week?

@thinkofsomethingdifferentthat sounds very sensible to move down to 2.5 again! A few people I know stayed on 2.5 for a good few months and they lost loads of weight so it still works on the lower dose 😊

I weighed myself this morning,and am 12lbs down from when I started MJ! My fourth jab is on Sunday, so that's almost a stone in three weeks, which is blowing my mind. I definitely need to stick with 2.5 at this rate, and possibly try and eat a bit more. I'm stunned by how well this works.

Hey everyone. I've had a quick catch up, sounds as though everyone is doing so well.

Week four jab and third weigh in for me today.

Week 1 - 7lbs
Week 2 - 2lbs
Week 3 - 2lbs

I jabbed in my tummy last week, I've done my thighs previously. For the first time I felt the side effects, headache and sickly on Sunday. Totally disappeared by Monday morning though. I will jab in my thighs again today, see if that helps.

My second 2.5mg pen arrived this week, so lets see how my second month is staying with this dose. So far, so good.

So nice to read everyones posts, really well done to everyone.

I’ve done my 4th jab, moved it out by a day as I’m on a week’s holiday soon & don’t want to take it with me, so working it out that I jab a day or 2 before, then the day I get back.
Anyway, I usually bruise where I have jabbed, but this time haven’t, and I have woken up starving today (mot even 3 full days after jab). Is it possible it hasn’t worked this week, hence the no bruising?

Hi everyone. Just checking in. Good to hear your weight loss stories. I did my 4th jab on Thursday. I’d weighed 7lbs down overall on Monday but - same as last week - on the Thursday I was a lb up, so only one lb less than the previous week which was disappointing. I’d ordered another 2.5 pen and after that weigh in I thought I’d made a mistake and should have gone to 5 but after reading @thinkofsomethingdifferentmaybe not. Anyway I weighed this morning and I am 8lb down overall now so remain broadly on track. I’ve done this sort of weight loss before naturally but it was a massive battle with hunger, so the jab at least helps with that. Will see how we go next week. Still if I was able to continue with the 2ish lbs per week I would be 2 stone down by my holiday which would be amazing and nearly my target weight. Shouldn’t count my chickens. Let’s see 🤞

I feel like I’m coming out the other side eventually. I follow quite a few users on TikTok and they were all saying to stick to it. Kids wanted a KFC yesterday so I managed two fillets and a few chips. All stayed down and I don’t feel queasy this morning. The sulphur burps though are dreadful so be warned about those if you’re thinking about moving up. I lost 6lb overall on the 2.5 and I’ve lost 6lb just this week on the 5, but this has come at the expense of being rather under the weather 🤢

Royal Mail has royally screwed up delivrey of my second pen. Ordered it last week, still haven't managed to get it, so now I'm late for a dose.

Definitely worth maybe trying 3. 75 for a week, @thinkofsomethingdifferent ?maybe it might give you the surpression amount you need without the utter stuffed feeling?

I started 5mg a week early as mentioned because I forced the golden dose out the pen rather than dispose of it after what it cost. The surpression is definitely more than it was before. Thankfully it seems all well after one week, though I do have a cold at the same time so I'm putting the general ugh down to that. Weigh in Monday to see how it's worked.

Hi, just checking in. I’m halfway through week 3. Still not feeling very much suppression ( or rather not as much suppression as I recall feeling the first time I was on MJ) I’ve ordered 2.5mg again but I may start either jabbing after 6 days or increasing the dosage slowly with a few extra clicks. @thinkofsomethingdifferent you have my sympathy because the awful nausea and vomiting when I increased dosage was partly what stopped me from continuing last year. I would give yourself a few days of feeling better before contemplating another dose and then I would go for less than 5mg as others have suggested.
So far lost about 5-6 lbs. I’m aiming for about 7lbs each month.

I think I am pacing similarly to many on here. I did my fourth jab last night and while I had a massive loss on week one, I am now down to 2 lbs per week. I don’t feel disappointed with that - it’s amazing really and I don’t feel sick or have side effects apart from the two times I (knew) over consumed at pre-arranged meals out.

I have also ordered another 2.5 pen and I guess my question is, why do people actually go up? It is to increase the pace of loss?
