@cloudjumpersorry to hear work is causing you stress. I've always been a stress eater with the exception of when severely stressed and then I don't eat. Do you have someone you trust at work to talk through it? It sounds like it's not you. I'm running a ridiculous number of projects at the moment but I like being this busy but I worry that I'm dropping balls everywhere. Perhaps the focus plan can highlight the issues with the environment rather than you??

@Zempy I would love a crazy cat! I just feel like my life is finally opening up with the man wanting to spend time with me and the teenager wanting to spend less time with me! And even a cat is a bit of a tie. The cuddles might be worth it though 🐈
When I did my ‘arms 14 day challenge’ part of it was exercise but part was massage with moisturiser and that definitely made a difference to mine! Might be worth a try?
@26inprogress Brazil sounds amazing! I’m hoping for a long haul holiday next year as the house spending should be much less. There is literally nothing left to do!
I will try the little ‘tights’ socks - might help! Can’t hurt 🙄 in a disappointing twist of aging I am wondering if it’s the start of bunions 😭runs in the family and make getting shoes to fit a real nightmare
@myladyjane I hope you didn’t have to work too much over the weekend? And I hope your hayfever isn’t too terrible?
@DGmaintaining i am still on a low dose of wli. I am taking 3mg every 10 days at present But I am not sure if that is enough. I really don’t want my weight to creep up. But . . . I have only my diminishing stash of pens and I don’t think I can get more due to my weight annd BMI even if I can find the money and I do want to come off it totally really. I am hopeful that generics will come in soon and the cost will reduce. I am under 70kg again today so I’ll take that!
I hope the genetic testing gives you a good result. I have friends with both outcomes and although difficult it has helped them all make informed future plans.
@Wtafmakeitstop well done for being under your weight! I am also trying to manufacture a ‘leeway!’ Good luck to both of us
@tinyemmy keep us informed about the restart journey, I think many people will be doing that over the years!
@Jins you are an inspiration! Paddle boarding at a festival sounds wonderful- makes me think I need to do some paddle boarding again
@cloudjumper so good to hear from you!
good look on the maintenance/ titratiing down journey.
Summer holidays are a stress on top of work stress- I hope it all goes better soon! I am moving jobs at the moment as my boss is asking for things that are impossible with the current resources (mainly too few staff)
Enjoy your sister visiting!

I am sitting outside on my new (massively expensive) but beautiful patio, catching up with you all, enjoying the sun before work and drinking coffee. Enjoying the early morning calm. I have a decent day at work in the run up to moving roles, admin this morning and meetings this afternoon.
I have Pilates this afternoon and then want to start a better routine for workouts. Let’s see how I get on!
Have a good Monday everyone xxx 🌅

Back home, refreshed and ready to take on real life again. I’m even going to brave the scales despite my rather poor nutrition over the weekend coupled with the worst case of constipation this year. I’ll be jabbing a day late.

@BreezyPeer DH scoured Google maps when we realised the camping area was right next to a river and found a couple of launch areas so we took the paddleboard and inflatable dinghy with us. The dinghy proved to be the best £15 we’ve ever spent in Lidl 😆

I’ve now completed 3 weeks on Holy Basil Extract and I’m debating whether I can be bothered to try to get Daridorexant off-label. I suppose I should on principle but the need has reduced.

Zempy · Today 08:23

Weighed in at 8:1 again so am maintaining on between 5 and 6 mg per week. I adjust it depending on how I feel.

My lovely friend I met for tea cake and scandal has sent me a pot of Trinny Elevate in the post!! So generous of her as it is £££

It feels and smells really nice. Will report back on the state of my throat!

Jins · Today 08:43

Definitely report back on that @Zempy as I’ve been thinking about it. Although I do think Prai is helping. I keep being tempted by some Korean oil that is being touted on social media for my arms even though I know it has to be a load of rubbish.

Just weighed. 8st 7 so bang on where I think I should be and 1.2lbs up from my shock 8st 5.8 last week. Will drop my dose down a bit today.

26inprogress · Today 10:38

I’ve been using elavator ( although not religiously!), in my second bottle and it seems to be getting better, although that could also be the collagen….
hope everyone ok, wrote a long post twice and lost it!
