Good luck, losers.

All welcome!

I’m another exercise avoider, I get no enjoyment from it at all but I’ve forced myself to go for a walk twice this week just for 30 minutes but I will hopefully increase time and distance now the weather is breaking. My husband did a 10k race this morning and I felt guilty after dropping him to race so took myself off around the block, I live in quite a hilly area no flat walks around but the hills don’t scare me as much these days, I can make it to the top of my road without stopping to catch my breath.
getting the results of diabetic bloods tomorrow, fingers crossed for good outcome.

Springflowers2 · 19/04/2026 14:53

I'm sure my lack of exercise contribute s to not loosing weight consistently
I'm freezing to ,I've got back in bed to warm up ,and get over the stress of the gym
It doesn't help I've family who open windows and don't seem to feel the cold

MummyInTheNecropolis · 19/04/2026 15:14

Well done @diggitydoo that’s fantastic progress, I remember how anxious you were when first starting out, it’s lovely to hear you sounding so much more positive! Flowers

Putyourleftarmin · 19/04/2026 17:59

@MrTiddlesTheCat that is amazing!!! What a very visual & fantastic representation of your hard work and profess! Love it!

Ive been deep diving into my Shotsy app today to look at my historic levels of MJ in my system over time. Although I'm not sure how the app works these out- maybe taking your weight plus the dose to work out the estimate level?

Anyway, it's made me feel a bit better because I can see that I've not quite accumulated what I had in my system before as ye so that would mean that the effects/ suppression probably wouldn't be as strong. This so all what I'm telling myself anyway, it's made me feel a bit better and I'll keep on eye on it.

Im with others feeling cold today, the sun is shining here and lovely at times but also feeling the cold a bit. Incredibly thirsty too but I can't just keep drinking tea & coffee so trying to drink more water but just not freezing cold.

PearlsTeapot · 19/04/2026 19:08

Half a pound to go til I hit 7 stone! That's motivated me to have a good week ahead.

I've downloaded Needled, I like an app although I already use quite a few!

I'm nervous to jab again tonight after being so poorly earlier this week. I'll go back down 2 clicks since they sent me over the edge. Pray for me!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 19/04/2026 19:35

@PearlsTeapot
How about taking 2 x loperamide 2mg tabs before you jab.

I can't as constipation is my biggest issue, I haven't been since I stopped the diarrhoea on Tuesday! But thanks.

@52soon I have a DW who loves exercise, she did a 20k run recently 'just for fun' and it puts me to shame! But I try not to compare, she is totally different to me. Good luck tomorrow, hope for low numbers!

TragicMuse · 19/04/2026 21:25

Can I just sense-check my calculations?

I drew 0.76ml from my 10mg pen - that’s a shade over 12.667 isn’t it?

Ta!

Thanks Broon! Should do me for the week!

TragicMuse · 19/04/2026 21:35

I’m doing my next order and don’t know whether to go up or not. I’m doing ok on 10mg but without the big suppression though have still got the satiety.

I suppose if I got a 12 I could go either way - use it for 10 or 12. And I don’t know when they’ll stop having the buffer solution and how long I could use a 10mg pen for a 12mg dose or an extra one…

AAAARGH!

I feel your pain! I've started to think that my food noise has just been replaced by dose noise - I'm constantly obsessing over whether or not to go up - is it working? Am I feeling enough suppression? Should I stay low to keep having to use some willpower? But what if I start to lose the willpower and lose the plot completely? Could I be losing more weight/finding it easier if I go up? But I'm losing plenty so it's ok to stay where I am. But what if it stops being ok? For now I'm staying where I am but it's getting exhausting thinking about it all the time.

I think the MJ levels calculation is probably fairly accurate as it isn’t connected to body weight at all, otherwise dosage would be based on body weight and us lot would be on a 50mg jab whilst the thin people (you know, those annoying people who’s weight starts with a single digit and they go on about how much they are struggling and that their arses are ginormous, those ones) would be on 0.25mg

Putyourleftarmin · 19/04/2026 23:06

@Fffreeeeezing Lol! Yep I get you, now you've explained it like that of course body weight has sod all to do with it! Well I shall enjoy my charts & see how it goes monitoring that. To be honest up until this recent restart I had kind of taken the suppression and feeling full / satisfied quickly for granted. I hadn't felt the need to look at levels, it's only when the 15mg didn't "meet my expectations"
so to speak, I started flapping a bit.

Putyourleftarmin · 19/04/2026 23:08

And don't get me started on thin people and their tiny arses. Literally sit there thinking well wtf do you think of
my arse then?! Anywho...

Doggymummar · 20/04/2026 07:08

So my first week on wegovy and I gained 6lb. Absolutely starving and so pd off. If anyone has codes for anywhere pls DM me as oushk have annoyed me so much. I told them 1,7 wasn't a swap for 15 mj but it's all they would give me after a massive struggle. They wanted to give me.25 or whatever the lowest dose it. Fuming

Sorry you're struggling @Doggymummar I have a referral code for Swift Doctor (£10 off) but for some reason I am not able to PM you. It's not a huge amount off but they are pretty cheap to begin with.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 20/04/2026 09:13

@Doggymummar
MMP are the cheapest for mj MJ.

£266 for a 15mg pen ATM.

But look through Monj.com for the best deals. Loads of the pharmacies have a discount for a first customer.

I've put on 2kg in April. I thought the first bit was a blip but now it's a bit worrying. I'm on 15mg now so have no where left to go 😕

52soon · 20/04/2026 11:43

Diabetes blood test is in and I had a gold star ⭐ I’m now 34 well below pre diabetes of 42 and actual diabetes of 48 (which I was above when she started me on MJ) I can stay on MJ as BMI still high but they won’t increase the dose so I will stay on 10mg. They’ve had new guidelines now so won’t prescribe for under a HBA1C of 70 which the nurse didn’t agree with but can’t do anything about it, which is so sad as it means people have to really be unwell before given the chance to improve their diabetes. But I’m grateful I was given it this time last year as I’m over 4stone down and feel so much healthier and happier.

I wimped out again, I just can't face all the photos and videos, filling out the bloody forms. No doubt I'll get screwed over again but thr6 had had a bundle of 3 2,4 pens for £300 so ordered them, that's just £100 a month

PearlsTeapot · 20/04/2026 14:32

Hurrah @52soon that's great! I'm really pleased for you. Hurrah for better health. Such a shame others can't access it as you say.

user593 · 20/04/2026 18:36

I dropped off the thread for a bit but I’m still here and still going 💪 We went away for two weeks and I had one week with MJ and one week MJ free (I didn’t want to travel with it). I ate what I liked and gained 3kg but have lost it (and more) in my first week back on the wagon so I’m feeling OK about it. I assume a lot of it was ‘water weight’. My total loss is now 32.4kg (5st 1.5lbs) with lots still to go!

SilenceInside · 20/04/2026 18:45

@MCR24 sorry to hear about the 2kg gain, and feeling like 15mg is not working for you. Have you got a plan to change things up? I am bumbling around on 10mg pretty much stuck at 70kg fluctuating up and down, but not ever breaking into the 60s properly. I have two 10mg pens in stock, so feel like I need to stay on 10mg but I keep thinking I should just move up to 12.5mg.

@Doggymummar was that re-ordering with Oushk? The 7.2mg three pen deal, where you get 3 x 2.4mg pens?

@52soon congratulations on the HB1AC result, that's amazing news. The new rule about HB1AC being over 70 sounds incredibly harsh, as in very few people will have levels that high. I wonder if it's down to cost or some kind of clinical indicator.

TragicMuse · 20/04/2026 18:46

Ok losers. Here’s a thing.

If you don’t already know I’m going to need you to Google ‘where does lost weight go’ because it’s ABSOLUTELY BLOODY MIND-BLOWING AND INCREDIBLE!

Then we can marvel together!!
