Let No.13 be lucky for all of us.

Good luck, losers.

All welcome!

Very best of luck @OvertiredandConfused both now and for surgery...

Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone is having a good day with just the right amount of chocolate goodness! As planned, I have portioned my eggs out into little bags, 25g in each to make it easy to work out the calories. I won't necessarily limit myself to a certain number of bags per day, but doing it like this makes it easier to stay in control and not just mindlessly pick until I suddenly realise I've eaten a whole egg.

We're away for the weekend so I'll start on my egg tomorrow.

Nsvs for the weekend. The bed in the camper is small, it used to be effort to roll over in the night as there wasn't space between us, not any more! Also much easier to get shower and dry off in the cubicles.

Freeze it too, it's double delicious 😋

Lol that's the name of my cats' favourite food.
Well, their current favourite. You know what cats are like. As soon as you invest in 96 pouches of something, they turn up their noses at it.
🤣

I was really poor in the 90s nearly lost my house and bought 19p Black Cat cat food from Asda. My cat didn't eat for three days he thought it was grim. I had 48 cans. Sad days.

Wow, that's taken me right back to my misspent youth of the early 90's. Not cat food, but back then, I used to smoke Black Cat ciggies. In fact, it's how I met my DH. He asked me for a drag, and I said he could have a whole fag if he bought me a drink. Oh, I was such a classy bird back in the day 🤣🤣

Doggymummar · 06/04/2026 07:58

Not heard of those, I met my first husband in a goth club in Brighton whilst throwing up in the cigarette vending machine tray. I was classy too.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 06/04/2026 09:26

My easter weakness is cream eggs. I can easily eat a box of 6 in one sitting. I used to buy a box with 48 in it. I only have 5 this year. I'm going to keep them for a treat every time I lose a kilo.

Yesterday we had our 3 course easter lunch split over the day. Starter was rye bread with philadelphia and smoked salmon, which we had for breakfast. Lunch was roast lamb, roast potatoes, honey glazed carrots and asparagus. And dinner was chocolate lava cake with homemade vanilla ice-cream.

It worked out quite well, although I'm still carrying the guilt which is always lurking, ready to pounce.

TragicMuse · 06/04/2026 10:38

I ate an inordinate amount of wine gum/licorice duos. I wasn’t even that keen on them! I like them separate but together they’re a bit wrong.

TheZingyFish · 06/04/2026 10:45

SW 24st 9lb
CW 17st 5lb
Week 52 total lost 7st 4lb or 102lbs!!!!!

My BMI has dropped from 55.5 to 39.1 and life is looking good.
I’m in the 100lb club!

Still a long way to go, but I’ve come a long way already and feel confident I can do this. Just need to work out what basics to buy for spring/summer to see me through as the stuff I wore last year is too big.

TheZingyFish · 06/04/2026 10:47

@MrTiddlesTheCat That menu sounds like pure heaven, I am very jealous. You shouldn’t worry about about a day, you had three courses over a full day and wouldn’t do it everyday so just enjoy it, guilt free, and go back to your normal eating the next day.

Billybingbong · 06/04/2026 12:21

@TheZingyFish yey, you smashed it, I knew you would, welcome to club 100, the perfect way to mark your 1yr🎊🎉. We are twinnies, both lost 102lb in 52 weeks 🥰. Please don't do what I did and celebrate by scoffing a whole easter egg in 1 day. Ask me how I know your belly won't thank you!

@MrTiddlesTheCat your meal sounds divine, and I love the idea of spreading it out through the whole day, what ablovely treat.

Happy Easter Monday everybody, I hope you've all had a lovely long weekend, and managed not to overindulge on the chocolate x

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 06/04/2026 12:37

Urgh I couldn't sleep last night.
Too full up.

DS1 came up here from London for the weekend and I foolishly ate a great deal of takeaway curry.

I mean, it was delicious, but not a good idea.

Well, not in great quantities. My own fault, of course.

I haven't got on the scales this morning. I fear that the result will be extremely disappointing.

weegiemum · 06/04/2026 17:09

I’m only sporadically checking in here, but it’s been great to hear all your success stories - no matter how small or big!

I came here today with a lot of excitement. I only get weighed every few weeks - we don’t keep scales at home as my eldest daughter had a brush with anorexia in her teens (oh, the irony!). Suppose now she’s moved out and bought her own flat that we could have them again! Anyway, I only get weighed at my dh’s surgery (he’s a GP) if he’s working over the weekend. This is one of them!

I started trying to lose weight about a year ago, at first without WLI, and started on mounjaro in October I think. At my heaviest I was 177kg which is 27 stone 12lb. I have been up to 182 a couple of years before that, over covid.

Today I am 145kg, 22 stone 11lb!! I’ve lost almost exactly 5 stones in a year! I can’t tell you how pleased I am with myself! I have serious mobility issues due to a neurological condition I have and so exercise is tough for me (all has to be seated really) but even so, 5 stone is amazing. This is the lightest I’ve been in 10 years at least! My clothes are all getting too big for me, and in some places, especially my arms, my skin looks too big for me! Don’t want to buy much as I’m hoping I can drop another dress size or 2 before I do that, I’ve gone from buying a 28 to 22-24. I’d love to have a number that started with a 1!

Anyway, enough of me wittering on. Just needed to tell someone who’d understand!!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 06/04/2026 17:18

Well done @weegiemum that's absolutely brilliant!

@SnowWhiteisMyFavourite Ah thankyou that's helpful. So I shouldn't expect a scan really but could ask for repeat bloods. I'm curious about my iron too.

Reallu helpful hearing people's experience of hrt. I think I'll try get an appointment..

@OvertiredandConfused All the best for the surgery and hope you can go back on MJ... I am so aware how transient my new found mobility might be and said to my husband just this afternoon we need to make the most of it. And plan to spend on MJ for as long as we can...

@MrTiddlesTheCat that sounds anamazing meall!

And personally I think long term I'd love to be able to eat more some days less the other without guilt or worried about weight. Realistically one meal won't put fat on just affect fluid retention etc. I'm far better at rationalising this that a year ago but it's still hard isn't it.

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 06/04/2026 17:24

Oh my hugely exciting news!!!
I went into a REAL SHOP and tried clothes on!!!!

First time in forever I've been able to do that. It was the most exciting thing ever. I was just there being a normal person doing normal person things.

It was a white stuff and the size 14 dresses and tops fit well. Size 16 trousers/jeans are just odd. Tight around widest point (but do up!) and then loose around waist and too much material around legs. So not ready for trousers yet.... But I feel. Like if I can loose some girth it won't be long!

I so wanted to buy All The Things. We can't afford any of it really but I bought a dress in my excitement.

It was just so much fun being able to literally choose things.... And try them on!!

I think someone here said recently about theove from uying soemthing becuase it fits and isn't awful. I've realised now there really will be choice...

It is so very exciting 🎉🎉.

PearlsTeapot · 06/04/2026 21:57

@TheZingyFish you did it 🥳 100lb in a year 🎉 you should be so so proud of yourself. Life changing.

@MrTiddlesTheCat 48 crème eggs down to 5. Amazing! 🤩 having one per kilo is a great treat.

@weegiemum I’m thrilled for you, that 5 stone is going to make a huge difference to your life. It was at 5 things really started moving for me. Keep going and you’ll be buying those 18s before you know it!

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden oh I’m so happy for you! 🥲 I dream of this but not ready yet. What dress did you buy? So pleased you’re at this point now.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne hope your tummy settles down! And the curry was worth it!

PearlsTeapot · 06/04/2026 22:02

We went to Costco today and I asked DW to take a photo of me from the back. I wanted to see if my leggings looked stretched (iykyk). I am shocked 😳 I’m half the person I was! Still feel enormous at just over 15 stone and 5 foot 1. I have lipoedema in my hips and backside as well as my legs so I’ll never be slim but all of the excess fat is now gone and the inflammation is so reduced. It was a real pinch me moment seeing this photo.

Thank you! I remember the days where I’d dread a Costco trip because of all the walking. Now I love it.

MCR24 · 07/04/2026 11:24

After our weekend away I've put on 1kg, hopefully it will go now I'm back in routine. I just don't understand where it's come from!

TragicMuse · 07/04/2026 12:01

I’m off to look around the shops at spring fashions! I was talking to a friend yesterday and said I was a Sainsbury 12 and probably a 14 everywhere else and she said she was too. I would say I am NOWHERE near as slim as she is, but maybe that’s just what I see in the mirror. Maybe I am actually in the same range as her.

This is utterly mind-blowing!

So I’m off to try it out!

Doggymummar · 07/04/2026 12:12

Im on a week's break before my switch to wegovy and I can't stop eating. Family size bag of revels in about 5 mins jeepers food noise is real
