We have all been on for heading up to 20mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health
most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it

And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did
Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots

I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.
To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely - and we are finding it def harder to keep weight off with lower doses

only 2 words to say 😂😂

Never matching! I’m a multi pack knickers girl and usually wear crop tops instead of bras. I’m tiny of boob. I couldn’t breastfeed and a midwife groped my actual boobs and told me I had insufficient mature breast tissue to feed a baby. It was a traumatic time where they remitted me to the post natal ward and made me pump and feed and pump and feed for 48 hours and tried to prevent me giving top up feeds. All rather awful and I wonder if I need some sort of counselling for that to be honest.

Sorry to hear about your experience 🤗 Keep on with your multipacks too!

Azuresky68 · 17/05/2026 19:36

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 12:53

I don’t need counselling. I have a stressful life due to being a single working parent struggling with col as many average people are - with an ex who is slowly killing his self

I would hardly say a lb gain needs such looking into

I know why I gained. I’ve been out for lunch /cake x3 this week. For a birthday. For a funeral and just because

it’s not an excuse / yes I’ve eaten healthy meals but I’ve also had treats

this is for the rest of our life’s. Or for me. I know I gain weight so I keep an eye on it and if I reach my top weight /go over - I will cut back

You are a strong and lovely person who is doing an amazing job ❤️ we all like treats and are surrounded by food and drink everywhere. It's tough for us all but we are doing SO well!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 21:04

Thank you @Azuresky68. We are doing well - hope having a nice holiday

@FurForksSake I have known mums with small fried eggs breast feed really well and tons of milk v 40gg who had no milk

sorry you didn’t get more support

My lads were both cmpa and have gone back and forth with the milk ladder until fairly recently. Seeing my 13 year old drink a pint of cows milk feels surreal. With my second I combo fed and managed with that for months. He got very little from me, but that didn’t matter. We worked out 18 months ago that he’s had reflux for years. He was medicated for six months and now has renniwa by his bed 🤣🫣

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 21:39

Reflux is usually a symptom -so find the cause

hence cmpa. You must have had it hardas a new mum

Ive got nothing exciting to add. But thought I would post on our very quiet thread..
Maintaining going well, 10.8 this morning.

Am thinking Monday I will go with the 7.5 pen , but im still in 2 minds as I feel really good on 10mg. I wish I could stay on it forever.. but im not rich enough.

PoemsForTea · 21/05/2026 15:58

If only money was no object @morbidcuriosity!! I am dog sitting for a friend from tomorrow for whole week (so excited!) - wonder if going back to taking 2 extra walks a day will have an impact?
Been working away this week and food management has been good and enjoyable, bit like at home, I guess, it just takes a bit more planning

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/05/2026 19:03

Well done for maintaining @morbidcuriosity

I feel the same. 10 suits me and was my magic number originally

but I just can’t do the cost

but it really helps with my hip knee ankle pain

indeed @PoemsForTea- I would love to always be on it - obviously to account for my heavily fluctuating weight that I seem to have - not !

but more for the pain aspect and it does stop the food noise that I didn’t think I had

people take blood pressure or diabetic or antidepressants all the time to help them

why is this different ?

@NippyNinjaCrab hope you are ok. Very quiet

Seriously trying to reduce my use of social media but i haven't left our lovely group. Sending best wishes to everyone ❤️
I have been on a City Break adventure as part of 70th birthday year long celebrations. Will update on my maintenance next Friday!

20bloodypounds · 23/05/2026 08:19

Still here, but on holiday. Eating all out of routine so not posting much. But I'll be back in full flow once I'm home. Six weeks with no jabs so we see what the damage is in a couple of weeks!

FurForksSake · 23/05/2026 09:44

Still here! I’m having steak for dinner as I’m home alone for the weekend. Work is kicking my butt so my ability to keep up is a bit crap. I didn’t sleep at all well last night due to another bad bout of constipation and I think I’ll be back on the lactose.

MabelSpan · 23/05/2026 10:56

Still here, but its gardening time so I am not about as much. Still having a quick read when I can 😊

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2026 13:55

Oh that’s right @MabelSpan. You are a keen gardener

i kill flowers and anything green. Not on purpose

another @Azuresky68

Also gardening constantly - off to weed a bed for the courgettes to go in as they are bursting to get their feet in the ground!

😆

NippyNinjaCrab · 23/05/2026 17:00

Hello, still here and nothing much to report weight wise. I haven't jabbed for 2 weeks but I will tomorrow because I can feel the give me some carbs chatter when I am tired. I am going to do a 1.25mg and not the 2 5mg so the pen will last 8 weeks at that.
I'm also gardening, and on fledgling watch with my blue tit nest. Around a week to go I think.
My girl is being tested for cutaneous lymphoma and has had some tumours cut out in the last 4 weeks.
Next door have little lambs ready to be out in the field tomorrow, they've hand reared them and today was their last milk feed. They are chunky and ready to greet the world haha.

4pink1blue · 23/05/2026 17:14

I'm reading but not posting. I know I disappeared for months but I had reason and that reason seems to be gone now so hopefully will start posting a bit more x I've been catching up with you ladies in secret 😂😂
As for my journey - am now 10 stone down and trying to decide where to go now. My original target was 10 stone, then when I reached it I thought I would like another 7lbs to give me a buffer, so if I was 9st 7 to 10 st thats my zone. However am now 9st and dont want to lose more so trying to decide on a plan. I have an unopened 10 mg pen and am due to jab today. Don't know whether to delay by a few days or just carry on as normal? What do the rest of you do?

morbidcuriosity · 23/05/2026 17:22

Im terrible for the advice @4pink1blue . I need to start my 7.5 and try come down but I keep jabbing 10mg. Cos I love it.. I've got to start a new pen Monday. I have 7.5, 10 and 12.5 in fridge. My plan was 7.5 then 10 weeks at 6.25 with the 12.5 pen..

But.. I keep going with 10mg. . The cost is starting to annoy me so I really should do the 7.5 Monday and try it. But I know what im like..

MabelSpan · 23/05/2026 17:56

I think its a lovely reflection of the ladies in our Auggies group and of our fab @Blondeshavemorefun for keeping the thread going, that so many of us are still here even if we cant all post as much.
Love to you all.

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/05/2026 21:22

Sorry to hear about woofa @NippyNinjaCrab

hope everything ok @4pink1blue

if only cost wasn’t a factor. And be pills
