We have all been on for heading up to 20mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health
most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it

And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did
Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots

I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.
To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely - and we are finding it def harder to keep weight off with lower doses

only 2 words to say 😂😂

Ooops sorry to miss you off the register @PoemsForTea ....and how lovely to hear from the others. Back on the straight and narrow soon. Will report in on Friday. Still on 10 but definitely aiming to reduce down doses when weight stabilises post holiday.

FurForksSake · 27/05/2026 20:43

How is everyone coping in this heat? I’ve worn shorts!

I decided I should check in on my weight as I’ve been feeling it’s been creeping up, it hasn’t. Still very much where I always am. I did go back up on my doses when I accidentally took a bigger dose than intended so need to start a slow taper again now that I’ve been back at work for a while. I’ve not been exercising as my back has been very unhappy, but have been at my allotment watering most days and still doing hydro once a week.

gynae are going to do a scope, biopsy and give me a mirena coil in one delicious ga nap, so I’ll have to come off for a week again I imagine but it’s going to only be a very quick anaesthetic. I don’t know if mirena cause weight gain, I hope not!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/05/2026 23:44

I love the heat. Always have and since losing weight and usually being cold - I’m now at the right temp while all friends are sweating and too hot 😂

I'm not a fan of sitting out in the sun unless it is under a brolly or shade. I love a breeze and that's the only way I can sit in it hence why I loved Lanzarote.

My mounjaro journey has ended, I just can't get along with it at all even with low low dosage. I hadn't jabbed since 7th May and did it Tuesday there. I woke up feeling tired and my stomach hasn't been great either. At a higher dose I've experienced very low mood as you know and when I was doing the 2 5mg before 7th May I wasn't great at all.

I've lost 3 stone on it and proud of it, if my body is happy at that and as long as I am happy with myself and clothes I will stick at it. I will never not have a tummy, I have endometriosis so it flares now with the HRT 😂😂 us ladies don't get a break!

I wish all you amazing women the best on your maintenance journey. If you guys think a thread for a non mounjaro general catching up and support would work tag me in it 🥰🥰🥰

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/05/2026 18:37

Awww @NippyNinjaCrab sorry you are struggling but stay on here. Some are on here with no/low dose and trying to keep weight off

we can motivate you if want to lose more. Tho most of us are now maintaining

@NippyNinjaCrab yes stay on this thread please...it's a support group for those of us who began the journey together and others who joined later but not everyone is on MJ now. Don't go and leave us after all this time 😪

Azuresky68 · 29/05/2026 06:26

Good morning from me. Weighed in after 3 weeks of holiday and I have gained 4 pounds. So i am back to 7 pounds over the 8 stone 5 that I stayed at between last August and December. Since January I have been more around 8 stone 8 pounds. I am still on 10 mg.
I won't be away now until at least September so there's time to get that 7 pounds off and hooefully very soon. I hope that the first 4 pounds will come off quickly but might struggle getting back to 8 stone 5 pounds. I really want to reduce down to 5 mg too. Feeling determined and so glad to be in this group. Good luck everyone.

PoemsForTea · 29/05/2026 17:28

@Azuresky68 that sounds manageable - well done 🙂

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/05/2026 19:09

It’s a small gain @Azuresky68and you will get it off !!

Great news 👏 👍 🙌

So me being me and just doing stuff that I want to do. I opened another 10 pen last week. I know I know. I said I would try the 7.5 . But 10 makes me happy and that was more important. Lol.

So 10mg again today. Still 10.8 . Fluctuate throuout the week but 10.8 this morning. So maintaining well.

I will have to do the 7.5 soon as my 12.5 and 7.5 have jan 2027 dates. So will need to try..

I have made a decision to do the 7.5 as my next pen. 100% . And see how i go. So I have another 2 shots of 10 and bonus dose which I always do all of it.

Im rambling. Finished night shifts this morning and my brain is tired..

Blondeshavemorefun · Yesterday 21:10

You work nights @morbidcuriosity? Doing what?

I want to get back down to 5 but seem to be struggling on 7.5 when I drop so went back to 10 and like you my happy place

but want to be on less

I have said many times but I was fine till dropped to 2.5 and went wrong

morbidcuriosity · Yesterday 21:59

Honestly 10mg is amazing. I feel so good on it thats why im reluctant to tey 7.5 but I dont want to waste the pens I have in the fridge.
I will try 7.5 after this one and see how I go . I can always just do more if needed..

God I wish I had 100 10mg pens I my fridge. Lol.

Azuresky68 · Yesterday 23:46

Interim weigh in, a week after my holiday- 2 pounds down! 5 pounds to get back to 8 st 5 pounds

Blondeshavemorefun · Today 09:38

Well done @Azuresky68. Moving the right direction

still on 10 or going to 7.5?

4pink1blue · Today 11:02

Hi ladies. So I'm on my last 10mg pen but am spacing it out to every 10 days rather than 7. Im holding steady between 9st and 9st 2 although I'd prefer a couple of pounds on but I'm sure that will happen when I stop completely. Sitting at a comfy size 8-10 currently. Only 3 more jabs to go then I'm going to try to maintain alone 😬. It's very encouraging to read how you're all getting on so thanks for posting!

Blondeshavemorefun · Today 11:42

We are mainly doing well as still on it but I’ve come to the conclusion that if I’m not then I will gain and I need it like people need bp or insulin etc

you have done so amazingly well @4pink1blue. Your before/after are unrecognisable
