We have all been on for heading up to 20mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health
most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it

And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did
Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots

I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.
To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely - and we are finding it def harder to keep weight off with lower doses

only 2 words to say 😂😂

This is what we do forever, check, rein in, go again. You’ll get it back down. The alarm has sounded!

I’ve not weighed much as I’m totally constipated again.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2026 19:24

This is our life forever

OP posts:
NippyNinjaCrab · 15/05/2026 20:45

The sad step reported that I have gained 2lbs from last week 😪 I havent eaten differently because I am very set in my ways with meals. I am a tad constipated too so I am just going to jab and keep going xx

morbidcuriosity · 15/05/2026 21:05

Ah, I only say give a bit more as if your only weighing Friday then you might not be 10.8..
i weigh every day, and apparently the other day I gained 4lb. haha, was a heavy night with wine and carbs and late nights.. 2 days later it was back to 4lb less..

maybe hop on again in the morning and see if its still 10.8??

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/05/2026 23:00

Bless you @NippyNinjaCrab. Sorry for gain. You need a poo baby esp if have been good with food

I know I’ve been a little more generous with treats and crisps. I deserve to gain and it will be off next week …… I hope !!!

@morbidcuriosity I’ve always only ever weighed once a week on Friday am

but I will try and rem to jump on Tom but as it’s dd gym we leave at 730am while I’m still 😴😴😴😴

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 16/05/2026 08:53

Yep still 10.8 but I have been over doing nice stuff

OP posts:
Jellybelly80 · 17/05/2026 09:20

@Blondeshavemorefun would you consider counselling to get to the bottom of ‘overdoing the nice stuff’. Or could you start asking yourself what emotion you’re feeding when you overeat or eat too much of the nice stuff? It really does help.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 10:33

I don’t need counselling 🙄

I have a busy hectic stressful life as a single parent

life gets in the way sometimes

yes I’ve gained a lb - it will be off by next week

OP posts:
Jellybelly80 · 17/05/2026 11:26

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t acknowledge you (repeatedly/habitually) have too many nice things because you’re a busy single mum, and in the same breath say you don’t need counselling (or help working out why you make the choices you do as a busy single mum).

You gained a pound? I’m sorry but your weight fluctuates quite a bit and this week it was a pound.

You've said that this is ‘us’ for the rest of our lives, but it doesn’t have to be…….if we work on our emotions/mental health and the relationship we have with food or anything else we use as a sticking plaster to get us through our day.

FurForksSake · 17/05/2026 11:43

I bought some new knickers! M&S in a size 8. I maybe could have got a six, but the 8 fit nicely and remind me how baggy some of mine are.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 11:54

Well this is turning out to be a nice supportive thread isn’t it @Jellybelly80 !!

note my sarcasm !

I have kept in my ballpark of 3lbs for almost a year. Yes the odd week I may go over by 1lb and I cut back as I know I’ve eaten out more /had a cake etc

I would hardly say my weight fluctuates quite a bit

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 17/05/2026 11:54

@Blondeshavemorefun you are doing brilliantly.

PoemsForTea · 17/05/2026 12:38

Off to the supermarket to try and find a nice bread alternative 😆 I am loving lots of Bean and Lentil dishes but need something for the 'juice'! Love lebanese food butnthe flatbreads hate me ha! Bread just bloats me and makes me feel crap. And makes me gain weight/retain fluid so i avoid at all costs these days. Wondering about Corn bread/Tortillas? Anyone have any suggestions?

Jellybelly80 · 17/05/2026 12:40

@Blondeshavemorefun I have been supportive. I’ve suggested counselling may help you unravel why you eat too many nice things (and go over your ballpark). I haven’t come here and said stay off the chocolate/wine/fast food fatso, which is generally the kind of thing people have said to them as we know all too well. I’ve offered a suggestion that could perhaps help you going forward so you aren’t thinking/telling yourself - this is it for the rest of my life.

Or is being supportive only telling people what they want to hear, and making excuses for them?

FurForksSake · 17/05/2026 12:42

Can you make some flatbreads at home? Using yoghurt and a gluten free flour maybe??

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2026 12:53

I don’t need counselling. I have a stressful life due to being a single working parent struggling with col as many average people are - with an ex who is slowly killing his self

I would hardly say a lb gain needs such looking into

I know why I gained. I’ve been out for lunch /cake x3 this week. For a birthday. For a funeral and just because

it’s not an excuse / yes I’ve eaten healthy meals but I’ve also had treats

this is for the rest of our life’s. Or for me. I know I gain weight so I keep an eye on it and if I reach my top weight /go over - I will cut back

Always good to have nice underwear.
matching I hope !

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 17/05/2026 12:59

Never matching! I’m a multi pack knickers girl and usually wear crop tops instead of bras. I’m tiny of boob. I couldn’t breastfeed and a midwife groped my actual boobs and told me I had insufficient mature breast tissue to feed a baby. It was a traumatic time where they remitted me to the post natal ward and made me pump and feed and pump and feed for 48 hours and tried to prevent me giving top up feeds. All rather awful and I wonder if I need some sort of counselling for that to be honest.

@Jellybelly80 I don't really understand why you post in our group? We are a small group of people who started in August 2024. We encourage and support eachother along the way. I usually ignore your negative comments but struggle to understand why you drop in occaissionally to criticise. As Thumper's mother in Bambi once said .."if you can't say anything nice, don't say nothing at all" I also wonder if you changed your name from Weepixie then jumped back again under a new name, without any explanation? You suggested counselling to @Blondeshavemorefunbut maybe you don't know how difficult it is to access counselling on the NHS in the UK? It's hard enough to pay for our jabs, let alone pay for private counselling. If you want to contribute to this discussion I would kindly ask you to be mindful of other people's circumstances and respect the ethos of our group. Saying this with kindness and empathy towards our group members. Good luck with your own counselling and best wishes. I do hope other group members understand that this post is meant to be supportive. Those of you that know me through my posts in the group will know I have a positive and supportive mindset. Just struggling to understand your motivation in making your comments @Jellybelly80
