Evening all!

I thought we should start a new thread as we are getting close to full on thread two

What kitchen appliance / Household item have you lost!?

SW 13 stone 9
6 x 2.5 MJ doses later …..
CW 12 stone 2
Loss 21lbs!!!

I am mid way through week 2 on my second pen and stuck with 2.5 - although am tempted to go up as my suppression is nowhere near the same as it was

I am being tempted and my willpower is waining

Send Help!

A popular misconception.

Muscle isn't heavier than fat, it's denser.

1kg of muscle weighs the same as 1kg of fat (obvs, as they both weigh 1kg) but the muscle takes up less space.

So if you are converting fat to muscle then your weight may stay the same but you should be becoming leaner (and fitter!) This is particularly relevant if you are approaching your goal weight or if you start to exercise much more than you did before.

Have you measured yourself? I bet you're getting smaller even if the scales aren't moving. 🙂

Thanks for the correction to my imprecise choice of wording. Denser, not heavier indeed.

Weigh day today and the biggest loss yet of 3.5lb, 25.5lb lost (or 2.3 corgis according to Reddit)

SW 13 stone on 1st Jan
CW 11 stone 2.5 lb
TW 10 stone

I'm 5'1 so I'm sure google will tell me it should be much lower but I'll aim for that and see how I feel. Still on 2.5mg and no plans to change

Onbdy · 14/03/2026 09:21

@BeWildPearlFish
Well done! 👏
I’m very slightly taller and my goal will be around 10.5. Ignore Google and outdated BMI numbers.

Hotfirewood · 13/03/2026 19:53

Haven’t been sick today. Still the same bloody weight!! I look slimmer in the mirror and in clothes but the scales don’t change 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve been 11.5st for 2 weeks!! Nearly 11 weeks on MJ and I’ve lost 8kg (18lbs), but it’s seems like it’s stopped working for me. Not hungry, not eating much, strength training and Pilates 4 times a week. Maybe my body decided to hold on to fat 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you are not hungry and not eating much it IS working. I get that it is frustrating, but this is a good loss. This thread is going into extremes on occasion. I would not expect to have lost 30 or so pounds by now. It is an extreme loss unless someone is very huge. The majority of people have to be more patient.

I agree. Slow and steady is going to be much better in the long run. I’ve noticed a few people I know who are suddenly looking a bit saggy or old because they’ve lost too much muscle. We mustn’t panic, just keep doing all the right things and we will get there!

Perimenoanti · 14/03/2026 13:03

@octagoneaway It is good to remember that to lose 1kg you need to have not eaten 7,000kcal. If the glp1 helps beyond the calorie deficit then great. It happens for some as evidenced in this thread. My average deficit is 700-800kcal per day according to the amount of weight I lost. It does align with what I am tracking. In between I would go up and down, but some day I hit a new low. I actually hit a new low today.

The body does its thing and there is not always rhyme or reason to it. As long as one isn't underestimating calories the scales will show the results at some point.

Ralphiesaurus · 14/03/2026 13:43

I'm due to put my next order in (have had 1 x 2.5mg, 2 x 5mg) and am almost certainly going to go for 5mg again, but then the fact I'm losing so much slower than most on here makes me wonder whether to go up to 7.5mg. Any experience/views to share? Part of me thinks slow and steady is possibly better (and of course cheaper too!) but I am dithering...

I am due to make my decision early next week. I think I will stay put. Im having to use some willpower, change in mindset etc to stick to my deficit. Its just that the wegovy is making it much easier. I would love to not have to think about food, but long-term im probably not doing myself any favours if I am still not able to handle my thoughts and hunger. It means I am not losing at the fastest rate, but I am starting to notice a change in habits.

I noticed that if I feel a bit peckish I think of actual food instead of crisps and biscuits. Im starting to trust myself a bit more that I could only have a couple of biscuits instead of half a packet. I feel great about it.

glutenisthedevil · 14/03/2026 17:39

Weigh day for me today (it comes around so quickly!) For the first time since beginning this at the start of the year I've stayed the same. I knew it had to happen at some point and that I've been very lucky to lose consistently up to this point.

I've taken my next dose of MJ, sticking to 3.5mg at the moment. I'm going away next week so will try not to use the trip as an excuse to relax things too much. I want to be as consistent as I can, though it will be the first time I've faced this particular challenge since starting.

My thinking is if I’m still losing at a rate of a lb a week or so on average I’ll stick with what I’m on as long as the suppression still feels like it’s there as well. I found by week 8 on 0.25 I could feel myself being able to put more food away without that overfull feeling so decided to go up to 0.5. But I would like to stay here for a while if I can!

Hotfirewood · 15/03/2026 07:46

Morning all - finally lost something after stalling for a couple of weeks, 0.5kg down.

12th dose today, lost 8.5kg (19lbs) in total.

5’7”
SW 81kg (12st 11lbs)
CW 72.5kg (11st 6lbs)
GW 63kg (9st 13lbs)

Thinking I need to target end July to reach my goal 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hope everyone has a good week!

P.s. I’m sticking to 5mg for next order. I’ve got no appetite and I vomited several times last week so I can’t risk increasing the dose.

notcomfortable · 15/03/2026 09:37

Morning all
Hope today is a good day for you whatever you get up to
I'm thinking I'm going to go cold turkey,
I keep stalling. Last stall was almost two weeks long so I feel there is no point paying out more money.
I have also been randomly sick this morning
I have had sulpher burps too
And I'm just getting random pains, almost like trapped wind but no idea if it is that or something more sinister as the pain is really quite significant but only lasts an hour

I've lost 30lbs as of today . That's 10 weeks as of Friday which equates to 3lb a week but was lost much higher at the start and now slow which is disappointing as I've got at least 5 / 6 stone to go !

That’s pretty good and I think it’s usually the case that it’s more at the start, 3lb a week average is good!

I was only ever planning on being on it for a few months so I’m thinking of ordering one more and then seeing what happens. My willpower is ok when I stick to a routine, as long as I see results.

If my weight creeps up with the same diet and exercise then I’ll seriously consider coming off the HRT, as I can’t justify paying out long term when I have young DC, and I think I’d rather suffer than risk my health by being obese.

I was hoping the tablets would come out soon and that I could move onto those as a cheaper option.

Perianth · 15/03/2026 12:16

I've lost track a bit with my weigh in days and tracking my loss, but the charts are still heading in the right direction and I've lost 25.8lbs to date since 10th Jan which I'm delighted with.

I've taken my first full 5mg dose today after a couple of weeks on 3.75mg. Hoping I'll continue to be lucky on the side effects front and hit the 2 stone point by the end of this week.

FrothyCothy · 15/03/2026 12:18

I am just over half a pound away from the next stone bracket 🤞🏻

FrothyCothy · 15/03/2026 18:50

Hmm. After the slice of cheesecake I just ate it may be more lbs away 😬😆

Hotfirewood · 16/03/2026 08:25

Woke up this morning, weighed myself (72.5kg, same as yesterday). Popped downstairs, made breakfast for DC, popped back upstairs to use the loo… then weighed myself. 72.2kg 😂😳 So maybe that’s something I need to do more often!! Sorry if that’s tmi so early 😅

whiteandblackfluffycat · 16/03/2026 10:05

11 st 10 today!

SW: 14 st 5
CW: 11 st 10

I might do smaller doses from my next pen to make it last longer, before coming off, as if I carry on at this rate I could be at my target by the time I finish it. If I don’t put too much on during my holiday! 😂

Ralphiesaurus · 17/03/2026 06:45

I went for 5mg again. I’m losing much more slowly than many on here but the side effects are manageable. Even when I haven't lost weight I can tell my size is changing… waistbands looser… so I think I need to just be patient!

HollywoodTease · 17/03/2026 09:02

Weigh in and jab day today. Jab #9, 5th on 5mg. Accidentally took a golden dose! 😳 Got my pen out of the fridge, clicked it, it went about 3/4 of the way to 1. Twisted it a bit harder and it went all the way so I injected that. It was only afterwards that I realised the plunger was all the way to the end now, I'd lost track and thought I was doing dose 4. Ho hum.

Anyhow, weekend away with DH for our anniversary so eating out & some drinking was done.

SW. 99.9kg
CW. 91.35 kg
Loss. 8.55kg (18.8lbs)
1st GW. 90kg

I've hit that annoying between sizes stage. All my size 18 pants are too big, I can pull them on and off without unfastening them and a couple of them have reached the falling-down stage. But all my 16s either don't quite fasten yet or are so tight they are uncomfortable. Living in stretchy leggings FFS! 🙄

Donury236 · 17/03/2026 09:36

Just found this thread!

I started back in Jan - well sort of...was on MJ from July 25 to sept then swapped to Wegovy, now back to MJ. They do sort of work for me, just very very slowly!

Currently on wk 3 of 7.5mg. No so much mental suppresion, but generally just stops my guts working -0 which sadly means eating fruit or veg makes me feel really bleugh as its fermenting in there I think. Sod MJ face...its MJ farts 😷

So from Jan 26...
SW: 110KG
CW:105.4KG
Loss: 4.9kg (10.8lbs).
10% loss will be 98.80kg (from my starting weight of 140kg in 2024).

I am a tad disappointed its going slow, but I have a sedentary job - the I drive the kids about and wait about for hobbies in the evenings - I have been advised by a Physical Therapist that due to HSD and super mobile hips I am to limit my walking :(. No more than 4 miles at a time, and no more than 3-4 times a week. Tried resistance training last year and it near crippled me, so need to figure something else out. Love swimming, but it gives me horrible dry skin all over and hair like plastic.

I keep seeing on the FB group people starting at same SW as me who are now like below 70-kg! So jealous.

My main aim is to get below 15stone for summer so I can go on a hack with my daughter!

ThisAmusedPoet · 18/03/2026 06:20

Shot day today! Another slow(ish) week but I’ve been really ill - not because of Mounjaro I don’t think, just the cold from hell. My throat has been like lasers so I’ve hardly drunk anything (or eaten, but hasn’t impacted weight loss!) and feel just so congested and yucky. No energy for the gym. Hoping to feel better next week.

on the plus side, seeing the “70s” on the scale felt amazing!

SW 1/1/26 - 93.3kg
Month one (2.5mg) 86.5kg -6.8kg
Month two (5mg) 82.5kg -4kg
MJ9 (5mg) 4/3/26 - 81.4kg -1.1kg
MJ10 11/3/26 - 80.3kg -1.1kg
MJ11 18/3/26 - 79.8kg -0.5kg
GW - 68kg
Total loss: -13.5kg
