What kitchen appliance / Household item have you lost!?

Loss 21lbs!!!

I am mid way through week 2 on my second pen and stuck with 2.5 - although am tempted to go up as my suppression is nowhere near the same as it was

I am being tempted and my willpower is waining

Down 33lb 😫 I'm only down about 15lb
What have you been doing?!
I fear its not as effective for me this time around but I refuse to go any higher than 5mg

I’m not going any higher than 5mg, and I was losing well on 2.5mg too.

I’ve been eating really healthily, with no processed foods. No breakfast, eggs with salad or berries and natural yogurt for lunch, then a normal (vegetarian) dinner, but a smaller portion than I used to eat.

I haven’t eaten a slice of bread since last year - I’ve always known that it bloats me really badly but without MJ found it harder to resist. I’m not going back to it! I’m fine with pasta. I’ve never drunk alcohol or snacked so there’s no difference there. I’m drinking lots of water, black coffee, green tea and redbush (as I always have).

I exercise daily; YouTube workouts for half hr or so total, with and without weights, plus 30 mins brisk walking on a small treadmill I have in the evenings when I’d normally be sitting down. I’m also active throughout the day as I don’t drive. I’ve always exercised daily though, since my 20s (now mid 40s).

I’ve had to ignore what calorie calculators say I should be able to eat. I’m in peri-menopause, on HRT (which is when the weight piled on) and was putting weight on at 1400-1500. I’ve had to go to 800-1000 to lose weight, but it’s working and because I’m eating nutrient dense protein rich food what I’m eating feels satisfying. Not all calories are equal in what they provide for your body!

@whiteandblackfluffycatwhat YouTube workouts do you do please?

@whiteandblackfluffycatwhat YouTube workouts do you do please?

A mix, I’ve tried quite a few. For days when I want something quick and easy but which does the job I really like Mizi; she has a wide variety of short workouts and I’ll normally pick two or three throughout the day depending on the length and to get some variety.

I also like Caroline Girvan, particularly the Iron series which is on YT. But those are longer and harder.

I occasionally do Eleni Fit and Growing Annanas.

I used to do Jillian Michael’s workouts religiously but they aren’t on YT and putting a DVD on is an extra hassle I don’t need so I’ve abandoned those lately.

I don’t think the longer and harder workouts necessarily give significantly better results for me personally.

I also think that walking isn’t given enough credit.

All of my grandparents have lived fit, slim and healthy independent lives into their 90s, with walking being the only exercise that three of them do (though the fourth played tennis too). No gyms, no running, no weights (other than lifting in everyday life). No diets either - lots of butter, homemade cakes etc! But no processed food which I think might be a key factor.

InstantRegret · 12/03/2026 10:22

Thank you @whiteandblackfluffycat I shall take a look 🙂
Yes, I need to get out walking more or may invest in a walking pad 🤔

You’re welcome.

I’ve used my treadmill/ walking pad every day since I got it (apart from when I was ill) - it’s already been worth every penny. I got a cheaper one for under £100 and it’s been great. The weather here has been miserable since the start of the year and I can probably count on one hand the number of dry days we’ve had, so although I’ve been out walking for necessity I haven’t been walking extra for pleasure like I normally world!

Last night was jab night. I decided to see if I could get anything out of the end of the pen before I threw it out, but had intended to open up my second box of 0.5mg. As it happened, I extracted 0.30ml, which I calculated to be 0.4mg, so decided to just use that instead. Let's see how this week goes on a slightly lower dose.
I feel last week's loss was a bit too much, so happy to slow it down a bit. Ill be back on the regular 0.5mg next week.

I have taken my fourth dose of my initial Wegovy pen and there is about a one or two mm gap between the plunger and the end of the pen window. I know Wegovy doesn’t have the golden dose but is there a bit of Wegovy there to use even if I need to dose fully in a few days? I don’t want to waste a needle trying to get it out if there isn’t any but half doses for half a week would add up cost wise

Hettar · 12/03/2026 11:21

Weekly update from me.

Just finished week 9 on 2.5mg

SW: 17st 8lbs
CW: 15st 6lbs
TW: 12 st

Total loss: 30

I've lost 4lbs somehow this week. No real change in diet this week so quite surprised by the big loss.

I'm still feeling good on 2.5mg so have ordered another pen with the same dose.

It was this gap that I was curious about. I could see there was liquid inside and didn't want to waste it. Turns out it was a good bit when I extracted it. Well see if the smaller dose was a bad idea after 4 weeks on 0.5mg

Week 9 of 2.5mg (11.5kg down) TikTok influenced me to inject my arm this week and omg I do not have one bit of suppression, the hunger is absolute madness 😭

notcomfortable · 12/03/2026 18:17

Very randomly I have quite mild sulpher burps today Confused

FrothyCothy · 12/03/2026 20:27

Slightly regretting my decision to delay my jab as felt so hungry today! Must trust the experts and stick to the schedule in future I guess.

Don't fear hunger
This is how itll feel when you come off the jabs so you need to instill those better habits and use will power too
You got this

Totally agree.

whiteandblackfluffycat · 13/03/2026 06:24

My body did it! 11 st 13 lbs today! Another loss of 3lbs this week.

5’6”
SW: 14 st 5 lbs
CW: 11 st 13 lbs

Total loss so far of 34lbs!

namnamnam22 · 13/03/2026 07:51

You’re so right! I just haven’t felt hunger quite on that level since being on the jabs.. probably did overeat a little last night but it fitted in my calories. Too early to tell how the hunger is today

glutenisthedevil · 13/03/2026 07:58

@whiteandblackfluffycat well done, that's an amazing milestone!

hereismydog · 13/03/2026 08:08

Another day of feeling terrible after being alright for a couple of days! The gastroparesis has hit me really hard and the sulphur burps are getting hard to cope with because they make me feel sick and I’m so embarrassed that other people might be able to smell them 😭

I’m struggling to eat even though I know I must, because I’m so uncomfortably full all the time. My portions are smaller than my toddler’s and I’m still struggling to finish anything.

Also now horribly constipated and think I have a UTI brewing as a result. Tempted to just stay fat at this rate 😁🤣

whiteandblackfluffycat · 13/03/2026 08:31

Sorry to hear that @hereismydog

FrothyCothy · 13/03/2026 09:03

Can you pin the sulphur issue to something you’ve eaten @hereismydog ?

2026istheyear2 · 13/03/2026 09:08

End of week 10 and 2.1 pounds off. 34 pounds total and 15 per cent of my body weight! So delighted. Side effects really minimal so sticking to 3.75 again.

Onbdy · 13/03/2026 13:44

Another 2 pounds off this week, 24.5 in total. Hoping to have lost two stones by Easter. I jabbed the full 5mg earlier, I will see if I get any side effects.

Etherealcelestialbeing · 13/03/2026 17:52

Another 2lb off for me this week. I’m so close to being under 12st now!
I did the magic dose of my 5mg pen this morning so a bit more faff than usual and I don’t think I got a full 0.6 dose so I won’t be surprised if my suppression is slightly less next week.

sw 13st 6
cw 12st 1

Still thinking about how to tackle my holiday at Easter as I’ve been hit and miss with side effects. I might bring the jab forward a day or two, let it wear off towards the end of my week away and do the next jab a couple of days late.

@hereismydoghave you tried pepto bismol? It was the only thing that worked for my sulphur burps and other side effects.

Hotfirewood · 13/03/2026 19:53

Haven’t been sick today. Still the same bloody weight!! I look slimmer in the mirror and in clothes but the scales don’t change 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve been 11.5st for 2 weeks!! Nearly 11 weeks on MJ and I’ve lost 8kg (18lbs), but it’s seems like it’s stopped working for me. Not hungry, not eating much, strength training and Pilates 4 times a week. Maybe my body decided to hold on to fat 🤷🏼‍♀️

More likely that you are building muscle, which is heavier. Its exactly what you need though, as muscle helps burn fat and speeds up the metabolic process. It's only the fat that you want to lose. Losing muscle is a bad thing. Keep doing what you are doing!

ETA - apart from being sick. Don't keep doing that! I hope things settle soon.
