Evening all!

I thought we should start a new thread as we are getting close to full on thread two

I weighed myself this morning and I have now lost the weight of a Kitchenaid mixer!

What kitchen appliance / Household item have you lost!?

SW 13 stone 9
6 x 2.5 MJ doses later …..
CW 12 stone 2
Loss 21lbs!!!

I am mid way through week 2 on my second pen and stuck with 2.5 - although am tempted to go up as my suppression is nowhere near the same as it was

I am being tempted and my willpower is waining

Morning!
I’ve been weighing every day this week and had pretty much flatlined. There I was, feeling disappointed, then this morning, whoosh! Well, mini-whoosh at least. After hovering around 15st 5lbs all week, this morning I weighed in at 15st 3.6 - officially my lowest weight since 2023 (when I bought the scales). Another milestone.

recruitretain · 19/02/2026 08:36

Slowed up a little but it’s needed to

January 21st start

aiming for 2 pounds a week or half a stone a pen would be great

2.5 is powerful for me I didn’t move up for my second pen

Second pen 5 mg: Week 4

1.5 stone to go to target weight.

Things have moved but very slowly. Just under 13 and half stone.

Am fine with side effects/had hardly any (so far), but body just was all in a muddle "what are you doing to me".

Next 5mg injection tonight. I am going to stay on 5mg for the next month.

Had a sleep of my life last night, which, oh my God, was simply amazing. Was full of beans this morn. Amazing what a good night's sleep does.

Hi everyone.

Just a quick update from me. I've just finished week 6 and took my 2nd dose of 2.5mg (2nd pen)

SW: 17 st 8lbs
CW: 16 st 1lbs
GW: 12 st

Total loss to date: 21 lbs

So another 2lbs down this month. I'm still having decent suppression but will probably move up to 5mg when I order my next pen.

Perimenoanti · 19/02/2026 12:55

Not doing well over here. I 'gained' weight. I know it's water. As I don't pee even nearly enough for the amount I am drinking. Still no whoosh. I feel much slimmer. Clothes hanging off me. Got some joggers out of the wardrobe this morning which I had not worn in two weeks and they are too big now and don't stay up. It's SO confusing.

I keep wondering if I am doing something wrong. If I am not eating in the deficit I think I am, but I think I am!? I feel tiny (I'm still huge), but the scales omg fuck off.

I might start measuring, but I don't know how to do it accurately? How do you pick the exact same spot of your thigh for example?

Perimenoanti · 19/02/2026 12:58

On another note, I am testing my way through 10 flavours of My Protein. I got excited at the smell of the Mocha powder, but then it tasted mostly of the same sweetener as they all do. Might try the hotel chocolate flavour soon as it has other ingredients.

cravingmilkshake · 19/02/2026 15:16

Well done everyone on their losses today .

I’ll do my stats officially at the end of the month.

last jab of the 5mg today (will do it when the children are in bed ) .

I have the 7.5 ready to go for next week . The price point was higher so will try and stay on that for a couple of months if I tolerate it well.

has anyone else moved up to 7.5mg just yet ? And if so, how are you doing ?

cautiouslyoptimistic3 · 19/02/2026 18:02

Nice to hear the updates. I have been feeling frustrated. Partly because I just feel so lethargic and in a meh mood. I am stressed at work so probably doesn’t help. But also I gained weight. Almost all of what I had lost in the last 3 weeks. Some of that came off today but still higher than where I was a few days ago. I am telling myself that it’s water retention due to working out or am bunged up or not drinking enough water. I have eaten a few carbs last few days but really only a tiny amount. I think this combined with the lethargy makes me question whether it’s worth it.

i’m being extra good today- focusing on protein and fibre and plenty of water.

I have also ordered the syringes for the golden dose and will try this next week and the next pen is also on its way.

glutenisthedevil · 19/02/2026 18:24

Enjoying all the updates from everyone.

I'm having a good week with food and haven't fallen off the wagon at all during the school holidays here, but for some reason I'm just not feeling it this week like I have before and I can't explain what feels different. I don't know why but I'm expecting a gain or sts when I weigh on the weekend.

I have 3 doses of a 2.5mg pen left (this includes the golden dose) and a 5mg pen in the fridge waiting to go. Instead of another 3 weeks at 2.5mg I'm contemplating 2 weeks at 3.75mg, just to get me used to going up. Has anyone else done this?

totallyfrusted · 19/02/2026 19:16

Hi all and big well done to all of us on our loses.

after finally taking the 5mg of MJ yesterday I feel fine. A bit of nausea but nothing I can’t deal with.

I felt so unwell last week and had convinced myself I had made a huge mistake in taking it last night but fingers crossed all good so far.

i still have zero appetite and really need to force myself to eat. My only slight concern is the food noise seems to have crept back and this is what I struggle with the most.

my daughter left half a Cornish pasty at lunch and it took all my strength not to eat it 😬

Hotfirewood · 19/02/2026 21:14

Clothes are noticeably looser, but the scales haven’t moved much this past week.

Just had a lovely dinner out. Left the restaurant and immediately threw up in a bush. Thankfully only DH saw 🫣🤦🏼‍♀️

Taking my golden dose of 5mg on Sunday! I’m not hungry so I’ll stick to 5mg for next order too.

5’7”
SW: 81kg
CW: 73kg
GW: 60kg (I think this might be too skinny though, I think I’ll look slim at 65kg)

Onbdy · 19/02/2026 22:33

Week 7 weigh in and I’ve lost another 2 pounds. That’s 18 in total. Jab day tomorrow and I’ll be moving up to 5mg in a week’s time.

Why are you moving up ???

are you not losing ??

no one should be pressured into moving up if losing

Why move up and risk side effects

you are losing and losing quick

why would you need to move up

bookwormcrazy · 20/02/2026 08:45

Week 7 for me and no lbs lost or gained last week. However I am taking that as a win because for the last 6 days my husband has been in hospital and I have spent every possible hour there so not been eating properly at all. It’s all been convenience and grabbing what I can or not eating at all.

SW - 15st 11lbs
CW - 14st 9lbs
GW - 10st 7lbs

@notcomfortable thank you, it’s not really ok. He has cancer and is in active chemo treatment. It’s been 6 years so just normal for us now but he’s deteriorated last week and no one can confirm why and keep changing their minds on what’s wrong. They haven’t even got oncology involved. Today might be a war path day to try and get some answers.

It’s the exact reason I have put it off for so long. But after prioritising my husbands health for 6 years, my weight went out of control so this year was my resolution to prioritise mine.
I swear he’s doing this to sabotage me! 😉

@recruitretain
I don’t think it’s particularly fast compared to a lot of people on here. I have at least 4.5 stones to go as well plus I’ve already bought the next pen. If I get side effects then I’ll just half dose.

I hope you get some answers today and that he improves and gets home as soon as possible. I went through it with my husband a few years ago, we were lucky that his cancer was treatable and he got the all clear after a year or so, but I can sympathise with that situation where when you're in the thick of it and the main priority is the patient whilst everything else gets put on hold. xx

If you stick to the lowest dose, the effect will eventually wear off. You start on the lower to dose to give your body time to get used to the medication. When they first started using it, they'd start people off on the full dose, but nearly all would suffer D&V and other side effects. If you increase gradually there's less likelihood of this happening. The lowest dose works initially, but your body adapts.

CatNoBag · 20/02/2026 10:17

I'm another one feeling a bit meh today. A combination of many things, but I'm going to start with waterboarding myself as I think one issue is that I'm dehydrated (I drank close o 2ltrs yesterday, but also did a lot of exercise!), and take it from there. The weather isn't helping!

InstantRegret · 20/02/2026 10:44

Can’t remember if I’ve asked this already but did any of you find the jump from 2.5mg to 5mg too much or were you ok?
Took my 4th dose of 2.5mg yesterday and currently have a 5mg pen due to arrive next week but I have until today to decide whether to change that or not. I’m feeling the build up of first week nerves all over again!

Absolutely fine, only not been going to the toilet as regular but that's it
