I've taken 15mg for the first time this week pushing towards the end goal now. I'll see how I get on this week with it, already have horrible burps 😐 might have to go back to 12.5

It's wonderful to get out of such places. I was in the same situation 26 years ago, and I have never been readmitted, so I hope it'll be the same for you.

I know it's a very long journey. Are you and your DW driving up to Edinburgh or going by train?

I’ve been out shopping, specifically for jeans since all mine are absolutely too big. Not even a belt can save them.

I have tried on 8 pairs - 4 in Primark and 4 in Mango. I went for all 16 in Primark based on the trousers I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Mix of 16 and 18 in Mango. To my astonishment the 18s were too big! I really thought they’d be a smaller measurements shop. There was one gorgeous pair but they were too long, massively puddling on the floor.

I bought a pair in Primark - they aren’t exactly what I want but they’re a good interim, especially as I then came home and chucked 5 pairs into the jumble/Vinted pile and went from all the jeans to almost no jeans!!

But 16! I’m a 16 in Primark and Mango, as well as 25-years-ago M&S Per Una, and Seasalt.

Oh and then…I tried on my wedding dress! It’s a looser fit than it was when I bought it 20 years ago! And the. I tried on my standby wedding dress - I had 2 because I couldn’t choose which one to buy - and that also looked fab.

I am the thinnest I’ve been in over 20 years.

What. A. Day.

Was out for my son's birthday today, ate loads, drank even more, enjoyed every second of it all! Especially because I tried on a size 16 dress I'd had hanging in the wardrobe, and it fit! For those of you who like slightly more alternative styles, I've included a close up - foxgloves and hidden owls.
