NSF = Non Scale Fail for me 😁

I bought some pairs of jeans in the H&M sale. They fit me round the waist. But, despite being on mounjaro for 10 jabs, I'm still only 5 ft 4 and they were waaaaaay too long!! 😭😬

Already sorted the return

There definitely needs to be a jab for increasing height as well as reducing weight 😂 I swear all the shops are making everything longer, I have a few new pairs of pjs from primark and they are all so long!!

@Springbaby2023 I am very heavy and have lost 2st 10lbs in just over 7 weeks on 2.5/3.75mg. I think it probably just varies from person to person.

Same. I have over 10 stone to lose and have lost 1stone 9lbs in 9 weeks now. Started 7/11

i think it’s more likely those of us with more lose will lose more to begin with

SexyFrenchDepression · 17/01/2026 09:59

Weigh in day today, the scales said 63.5kg which according to the converter is 9stone13.99. I'll take that although its dangerously close haha so I could tip back over next week!

My next targets need to be around exercise and increasing my muscle. I am still suffering from the knock on effects of this virus I had, I am so tired all the time, I am sure it is not the jabs as I was feeling really good before I got ill so I am hoping it passes soon. I havent been tracking calories so I think that might help also as I have a feeling I am under what I should be.

Springbaby2023 · 17/01/2026 10:07

Finally some movement for me! 5lb down. 2lb of that is the 2lb gain over Christmas. 1 stone 3lb down overall, feeling more positive now.

Wow! That’s a brilliant result, well done you! have you done anything different or do you think it was the whoosh effect? Am so hoping to be whooshed off my feet in the near future 🤣

SexyFrenchDepression · 17/01/2026 13:00

Brilliant @Springbaby2023 definitely worth the wait!!

Brilliant! Well done!

I think you just need to keep at it. Some weeks I’ve lost nearly 2kg, other weeks barely anything. As long as the overall trend is downwards then it’s all good!

Springbaby2023 · 17/01/2026 15:02

@ChristmasCalsDoCount It was my first week back of exercising regularly and getting more steps in so I think that has helped give it a boost!

Possiges · 17/01/2026 15:19

@Springbaby2023 that’s interesting as I find the opposite. When I exercise a lot, my weight loss slows down. I’m assuming it’s because I’m building muscle or maybe even drinking more water?

Springbaby2023 · 17/01/2026 19:35

@Possiges If I weigh myself the very next day after a workout I’m always heavier, assuming that’s water retention. But I have a huge calorie deficit on some of my exercise days so I think that’s what helps (even with the jabs I am struggling to have much of a deficit on other days).

Argh, just as I thought I was settling in to this, went out for dinner today and had the most awful D&V afterwards. Had to rush to the toilet literally as soon as I finished eating. Never had anything like this before either pre or since taking MJ. Feel like I’m in for a long night until it’s all out my system (sorry if TMI). It’s weird because I’ve not had anything gastric symptoms so far, I think it was just the food I ate was too oily for body to handle. Anyone else had anything like this??

user593 · 18/01/2026 19:25

@Springbaby2023 Could it be a coincidence and be food poisoning? I think that’s normally fairly immediate.

Yes I’ve only had one bout of D after starting MJ, and it was the only time I’ve had proper oily and fatty food (the one time I’ve had a takeaway and not home cooked food). My body just said “nope”.

Springbaby2023 · 18/01/2026 20:03

@user593 could be bit ate the same as others and they’re fine so assuming it’s the MJ.

@Possiges I had pizza, which I’ve eaten before on MJ, but this was super oily and I think that’s what did it.

Mine was pizza too!!! It was a local restaurant that makes proper Italian thin based ones so I thought it would be ok. But to be fair it had lots of olive oil, and salty fatty preserved meats like chorizo and nduja, as well as cheese. So really fatty.

I also had a “naturally slim” friend with me who has expressed judgment of people on WLIs in the past. So I stupidly forced down 1 or 2 slices more than I wanted so she didn’t suspect I was on them too!!!!

My stomach was not happy afterwards.

Springbaby2023 · 18/01/2026 21:37

@Possiges Oh this sounds so similar! This was super thin but stupidly I chose one with chorizo and nduja on plus chilli oil. And was with in laws so made sure I ate a normal amount as I do not want my mother in law to suspect, also had a glass of wine as she’s always asking if we’re having more kids so didn’t want her thinking I was pregnant either 😂 I feel weirdly absolutely fine now

RoundandSad · 18/01/2026 22:44

I thought you weren't supposed to eat fatty food on these? I mean it's a guaranteed upset stomach, isn't it?

though it's ironic that I'm the one who's terrified to do that and wouldn't do it, and I'm the one with the really slow weight loss.

Springbaby2023 · 18/01/2026 23:22

@RoundandSad I’ve not had any issues when eating fatty food up until this point and was definitely eating it over Christmas! Like I say I’ve had pizza before with absolutely no issues, I think it was the amount of oil on this occasion my stomach couldn’t handle.

Although my youngest DC has just also thrown up so now wondering if we have a bug in the house, really hoping it’s a coincidence.

NoNewClothes · 19/01/2026 00:19

I posted back on the first Nov 25 thread but only fully caught up this evening on this one.

Interesting to read how different we all are on these medications.

I’m a relatively slow loser, 5kg down since mid november, but that’s nearly 6% body weight loss and I’m no longer obese according to BMI.

On 3.75mg since Christmas, and probably going to stick here, I’m getting a bit of nausea and occasional heartburn but definitely still have appetite/!noise suppression and I’m happy with my eating choices and amounts, and also picking up on exercise levels so I’m just going to trust it’ll be a slow process.

My body is fighting hard to keep hold of every ounce! At least I don’t feel miserable as I’ve done on every diet.

tobee · 19/01/2026 01:32

So it's my day before jab day (Sunday that is) and I'm finding effects definitely not high. I did a Sunday roast and I had a small portion. Having only had breakfast before that. But, clearing up afterwards, I had some leftover pork and a fair bit of fatty crackling. It wasn't that much but I've found it pretty easy to ignore before. Then I had about 4/5 leftover Christmas Quality Street. I don't exactly feel guilty but I feel like it was a clear change in my attitude since taking mounjaro.

I definitely did have some control still and I'm not thinking "that's it! It's all over!" Which I would have without mounjaro. But it's more reason to think I'll be going up next month. I've got tomorrow's jab and then next Monday left for this pen.

TaffyTabby · 19/01/2026 07:14

I was away this weekend and ate out lots, not making the best choices, and had a bad stomach yesterday when we got home. Weight has stayed the same though.

I’ve been reading this morning about people getting to max dose mounjaro and it no longer working, or they are maintaining but gain if they try to reduce the dose. That is a scary idea to me. I don’t want to spend loads of money to get trapped on a high dose forever. I have made my peace with using MJ in some way for the long term but don’t want to be taking 15mg every week!

I think I need to really start thinking about how I can make more permanent changes to how I eat and move. Exercise in particular is challenging as I have so little time to myself. And I am more determined to stay on low doses for as long as possible.

user593 · 19/01/2026 11:39

Several days of eating a little bit too much (various social commitments) has caught up on me and I feel awful today! Time for a reset. I should have jabbed yesterday but waiting for this feeling to pass. I feel too full to eat anything anyway.

Springbaby2023 · 19/01/2026 11:48

@TaffyTabby That’s me, I swore I’d use MJ to start getting eating better eating habits and I’ve not really. I knew Christmas would be tricky so I said from January I’d really focus on implementing new good habits and it’s still not happening 🙈 I think my first focus needs to be upping protein again as that’s called off completely, and then just healthier snack choices. I’m eating a lot less snacks, but the ones I’m eating are no different than before MJ.
