We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

only 2 words to say 😂😂

I have a sugar snap pea habit- and I've got my manager on board - so we take it in turns to supply them on office days 😆

Finally! Down from 8 stone 12 after holiday, last week 8 stone 10.5, this week 8 stone 9..slow progress to get back to 8 stone 5..4 pounds to go. Good luck to anyone weighing today @Blondeshavemorefun 🤞

FurForksSake · 27/02/2026 10:33

I have skipped the weighing. I posted on the maintenance thread thinking I was posting here. Oops.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/02/2026 11:25

Well done @Azuresky68

ive lost a lb so 10.7 so least back in my ballpark so happy with that but prefer another 2lbs loss

I'm generally 1 pound up / 2 pounds down / 2 pounds up /1 pound down... I'd ideally like to lose another 5-7 pounds. But I'm OK. (and I think that probably the majority of the "not-overweight" population would like to lose 5-7 pounds). So that makes me 'normal'.

20bloodypounds · 27/02/2026 16:21

Nothing to do with MJ. But this feels like safe place to share - people who know me but at the same time don't know me... (can only share with dh, no-one else).

I have a mole on my arm which has been a little bit itchy since ??probably last summer?? But since about Christmas, the itchiness has become more intense and feels like a hot itch. I got a (same day) appointment with our GP nurse triage on Tuesday, they took photos for dermatology, who called today, and I've got a consultant appointment in 8 days time.On a Saturday!

I'm betwixt the feeling of 'omg how fantastic is the NHS when it is working as well as this', and the 'FUCK if they're progressing it this quickly then... oh fuck'.

I've googled everything, and I'm sure I will survive, but it is a reminder that in amongst our weight loss journeys and our imporoved health in general, there are other things going on both physically and mentally.

FurForksSake · 27/02/2026 16:31

I’m glad they’re acting quickly, hopefully they can scrape it off and you can move on! But what a worry in the meantime.

@20bloodypoundsIt is a good reminder, you're right. Sending positive vibes and its great such a speedy appointment. I'm not gonna tell you not to worry, anyone would. But stay subjective ❤️

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/02/2026 16:54

@20bloodypounds you will be on the 2week cancer pathway. Didn’t mean it is cancer but thy act quickly incase it is

the itchyness etc isnt good tbh. But you are doing the right thing getting it checked

thanks for sharing with us and we will be here to support you whatever the outcome 💐

Thanks Blondes. And thanks for being so straightforward.
I have a semi-medical background (research scientist) so I've looked at every possibility. I'd already told my dh what I thought it might be, but it's always a little unsettling when you get the kind of answer you didn't want... (I wanted the dermatologist to say 'pah! that's nothing. go away'.

There’s a statistic that well over 90% of people on the two week wait do not have cancer. Reassuring!

Well done xx it is my sisters bday tomorrow. Barely ate until tonight then she cooked me a healthy risotto (no parmesan and lots of veg) and we drank raspberry gin xx

Azuresky68 · 28/02/2026 08:15

@20bloodypounds we are here for everything you want to share. Good news you don't need to wait long. I was also on the 2 week pathway last year and was anxious too...everything was fine. Hope all will be fine for you too 💯❤️💯

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2026 09:21

Well we def need it as seems those I. I’ve group who came off have mainly gained most/all the weight back

I feel if I need it I will move heaven and earth to afford it. But it is a real struggle and hope a tablet comes soon. That has to be cheaper

I am still so relieved we did this in aug 24 and had a year before prices came insane

Tho i cant read as not a times subscriber

OP posts:
morbidcuriosity · 28/02/2026 09:35

Ah, can't read it, says I need to pay.. but looks like saying staying on maintence dose for 12 months? I feel I could stay on 10mg forever, its the best I've felt, but I am going to try 7.5 soon as the price annoys me. If the price increase never happened I would stay on this forever.

Ive not lost anymore weight, just weighed myself now and 10.9 so in my goal allowance but I've found my jeans are getting a bit looser again, these are the smallest jeans I've ever worn, so think my body changing shape again without loosing the numbers, which is a good thing I suppose.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2026 13:41

You might even get to 5 like me tho 2.5 was a struggle

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 28/02/2026 14:51

I took 40 clicks of 12.5 this week, which is maybe 8.5? I would really like to get to 5 and maintain on that. I haven’t weighed myself all week because my constipation would piss me off. Husband keeps telling me to eat a mars bar 🤣

Im trying to come to terms with my fibromyalgia diagnosis. I had hydro and I now can’t move my neck or shoulders and barely slept so I’m taking lots of meds. Apparently there’s an antidepressants that the gp can prescribe to help with symptoms. I’ve got an appointment in two weeks and I’m going to ask for it.

Azuresky68 · 28/02/2026 18:37

@FurForksSake so sorry to hear about your new health diagnosis..Sending hugs 💐🤗
