We have all been on for heading up to 17mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it
And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did

Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots - I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.

To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely

I bought four dresses for you. I have three weddings and a christening this Sunday where I am God mother and will be in a size 10 dress Christ knows how

To be fair the size six might not fit! I need to take some comparison pictures if they do. Next clearance had some additional discounts so I ordered quite a few things but most will go back I think. Starting to think about back to work clothes.

Had a Barney with a man cleaning the neighbours drive. One of the travellers from the site (my family are originally travellers, Romani, but these are not those) was going door to door offering drive cleaning and they went for it. I blame them Having a newborn. They’ve cleaned their drive (single) onto our double and I had to go out and ask them to stop as water was coming under our garage door. The man was very rude called me a bad woman and told me he couldn’t stop it. I assured him he could. Proper row about it and I’m now probably going to be on a black list. Phoned dh in London who called neighbour and told him it wasn’t ok. They’ve pressure washed out all his sand and left. So his drive is probably screwed which is also our drive. And they’ve filled the drain on our drive with all their stinking water and dirt. I had a shake and a cry. Burnt some calories. Watched some heated rivalry to cope.

my next order arrived. I have some size 6 mid rise barrel that fit and look nice and a pair of linen type black work trousers in a 6 that fit. Both very cheap. Gap extra small was too big and the size 8 pull on trousers were too big. So I’m definitely more a small 8 now in next.

I couldn't see it either, I think I had been a bit in denial then a few awful photos brought me up short around the time everyone started talking about MJ. One of the best things I have done now, I feel so much better and find physical activity so much easier.

@Azuresky68 sorry to hear things have been tough (on and off the scales). However remember your are still within a healthy BMI, and if I recall correctly your original target didn't even get you there.

Look back to your recent holidays and remember how well you looked and felt - use that as motivation to lose those few pounds and get back to a slightly more comfortable weight. You can do it.

I'm in the first week of my month off MJ. I sort of miss the rhythm of the week: jab day, eating less, gradually wearing off over the week. I feel fine, motivated by a holiday in a couple of weeks. I also think that 4 weeks off really helps my hair to thicken up a bit - it had got very straggly by the end of the summer.

I jabbed 46 clicks of 12.5 today. I’m going to try and reduce 1 or 2 clicks a week until I struggle. I think it will take 5 weeks to go from 10 to 7.5 really slowly. If I struggle this week I’ll do two weeks between click drops or drop one click a week instead of two

Counting clicks is makes you feel better is the way to go

I just went down the dosage every 4/6w but in the jumps of 12.5 10 7.5 5 etc

I’m trying to find what works for me to maintain without taking expensive doses. I suspect I’ll end up maintaining on 7ish which would then get me 8 doses out of a 12.5mg pen. That would be a decent saving. I’m going to have to build up a stockpile I suspect but that’s fine.

I feel worried that going down too quickly will make it harder and less effective overall. I don’t know. It makes me very, very nervous.

The fact you are a size 6/8 mean you are very slim so hopefully can hold it on 7.5 but try 5
an see how it goes or even 2.5

The thinner I can be the longer my knackered spine and joints with last. That’s my thinking.

if I can maintain this for a few years then hopefully my set point will have changed and I’m more likely to hold on through menopause.

I think I’ll still be taking mj in ten years or a version of it. I truly believe obesity is an illness and I’ll go back to being obese without it. Now.

Yeah, I will go as low as humanly possible. 2.5 or 1.25 is a dream though. It would be amazing to be on that and holding. Maybe going up more over Christmas to help when needed.

The idea of a month on and a month off is superb. I’d be more than happy to do that if it worked.

@20bloodypounds thank you. You are right I never dreamed of getting to 9 stone and that was my original target. My happy weight is 8stone 5 now. Don't forget I am a short arse and also old...although I dont feel it in my head!!

purple dress for Sunday is new

Hey everyone, not commented for a while, but still reading all.. just an update from me. Still maintaining, still under my 11 stone target, lowest I've been is 10.6 , I'm about 10.8 now which is good.
But I've had to order new work trousers again. I used to be in 44 inch waist, just had to order 32 inch.
Men's trousers are nicer than the women's at my work, no idea why, think maybe cos it's a man's world and dominant men's profession, but hey ho..

Hello all, did my nutracheck update with my current details and I have slipped back into the overweight category again! 12lbs over my goal of 11st.

I forgot to tell you all what DH said about me when I was at my lowest, 10st 10lbs and size 12, he said I looked like anorexic Annie! I was really hurt as it was the best I had felt mentally and physically in a few years. He said I suit curves more.

My lovely friend has had the same comments from her husband yesterday, he called her gaunt! I can assure you she isnt gaunt at all. She's a healthy weight and looks fabulous, she plays tennis a lot so has lovely muscle too. She was ready for an evening out last night and asked her husband if the trousers she was wearing looked quite right as she had a muffin top (high waisted) or should she change her top. Well he went off on one and said you've lost far too much and thats how eating disorders start.

She's gutted tonight, wasted her night. She's also said she feels so much more confident about herself now.

Is this because people are used to seeing us fat and when we lose its oh you are far far too thin!

Urgh, we cannot win.

I am scared I wont lose this 12lbs without a jab.
