I’m debating 2.5/3.75/5mg this evening. Definitely got the food cravings and noise back today… so I’m wondering if lower dose/higher frequency might work for me in the long run….

What dose did you decide to do after all? The 5mg is working for me at the moment , the suppression isn’t as strong as the first two weeks but still there. I normally jab in the thigh but last week I decided to jab in the stomach wonder if there’s a connection between where you jab and the suppression 🤔 x

Well done everyone keep on keeping on!
I am BMI 29.9 this morning- not obese! It will jump up again for a day or two but definitely on the downward trend again!

Oh that’s amazing!! Well done! You must be so pleased….

I’m still obese but I’m seeing the drop from BMI of 34.5 and rising, to 31.7 and falling as being significant! 7.6kgs - well over a stone 💪

I went for click counts and 3.75mg. Worked out I could do another 5 doses at that rate and still be within the 30 days so I don’t have to faff with the fridge.

I am definitely getting some symptoms but it’s not so extreme. I really noticed yesterday how the sugar cravings and food noise was back, before I jabbed. I wonder how I can retrain my brain…. Or is a maintenance dose inevitable?

Clumsykitten · 19/11/2025 09:38

I just need to stay motivated, my clothes getting looser and just feeling a bit lighter is really helping.

Non scale victories are so important! 🙌🏼

We need to remember this is actually a life long journey and this is just the start x

@Meandmypooch Incredible loss! 2 stone is less than 2 months? What is your routine like in terms of food/water/exercise?

@Calyx72 Good for you! I am still obese but moved from level 2 to level 1, I am looking forward to when I'll be just overweight haha.

@Clumsykitten Absolutely! Staying movitated is key. I just started C25K on Monday, for someone that has never run a day in her life. I have now done two 8 mins runs this week and I am proud of myself.

Well done on starting running - that’s a massive step! I’ve done c25k numerous times times over the years as I’ve often found illness or injury over the winter season means I stop for weeks and have to restart. I’m currently on w3 having had foot surgery this summer. 1st target is to get to full 5k by 4th January as DH has entered me in a race.

look out for week 5 if doing the nhs version - it’s a bit of a shock!

jaelato1 · 19/11/2025 18:01

@putthehamsterbackinitscage Thanks! I am using the nhs app. I am already dreading week 2, forget week 5 lol. I find myself out of breath and legs tired few seconds before the min mark.
Good luck with your race and please let me know all about it as I will looking to enter into races too once I am able do 5k runs successfully x

@jaelato1 I’ll let you know how things go and you do the same? We’ll try not to bore others but it’s useful to hear someone else kid going through the same. Where I live is all hills there is nowhere flat so I try to cheat and have the run bits on downhill and walk for uphill…

Ah you've got this! I found week 3 actually felt better than week 2 for me. If you're struggling getting out of breath, slow your pace down even if it feels so slow you feel silly 😜 I've got one more run left of week 7, it's flown by! I was so scared by the end of week 5 but found it surprisingly ok. I just made sure I started off really slowly and kept on plodding.

jaelato1 · 19/11/2025 19:22

@putthehamsterbackinitscage absolutely, will do.

@Moosey898 I guess I am correct to dread week 2. I feel it might be my make or break moment haha. I'll report back next week 🫣.

Glad to have you both for guidance and motivation x

@jaelato1 I think once you're through week 2 it just feels easier because you're in a flow! You've got this 🙌🏼

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 19/11/2025 19:55

@jaelato1 week 2 might seem daunting but it is ok - just keep it slow. As I said - I’m doing this for the billionth time! Week3 is ok too… so you’re good for at least 2 weeks!

SexyFrenchDepression · 20/11/2025 09:59

Does anyone have any good tips for increasing fibre, I am really struggling with feeling bloated on certain days. I potentially need to be more consistent with my magnesium but would people recommend fibre supplements?

My weight is fluctuating more during the week now and its definitely being bloated.

Today is the first time I have waited for the 7th day for jab as I needed to move the jabs back from sat am to thurs pm. Its actually nice to have that slightly hungry feeling and no nausea, will need the usual will power today but I actually feel in control which is good.

jaelato1 · 20/11/2025 11:02

@SexyFrenchDepression My main source of fibre is chia seed, psyllium husk (1 tbsp is 7g, I add it to a glass of water and drink), broccoli and avacado

Another vote for chia seeds! Really easy way to up fibre intake. I also cook a lot with lentils and black beans which are both high in fibre.

I use this reference guide to help get fibre into my main meals and snacks: www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/high-fiber-foods/art-20050948

StrongLikeMamma · 20/11/2025 11:31

@SexyFrenchDepressiona tablespoon of chis seeds in my smoothie or yogurt- leave for a few minutes to expand before drinking/ eating.
Vegetables.
Oats - if you like porridge?

SexyFrenchDepression · 20/11/2025 13:10

Thanks for the fibre suggestions.

I knew the weight loss would slow down after an amazing 1st week so I need not to get disheartened but I know eating more fibre will help.

narcASD · 20/11/2025 15:09

@SexyFrenchDepression definitely chai seeds, I take 15g a day soaked in water plus 1-2 weetabix and hit my fibre goals.

my delivery couldn’t deliver today so it’s gone back to the warehouse! Worried it will be no good as it’s mes t to be kept in fridge, any advice?

I googled this in great depth as my delivery was delayed and I was away for the weekend and my kids dont know. Basically 30 days out of the fridge is fine so the 3 days it was left out means only 27 left. Asda pharmacy explains it well. I have put straight in fridge (it was in the cool pack anyway) and this month I'll just put back in fridge after jabbing.

narcASD · 20/11/2025 15:40

Thanks @SexyFrenchDepression that has reassured me, was getting all worried it would spoil

Being from Yorkshire I'm a bit on the tight side so want to get the most for my money out of these jabs so have been going for it so to speak 😆
I'm going to ease up once I start getting down to my target weights but at the moment for lunch it's salad with Tuna, eggs or chicken or Ryvitas with Marmite,
Dinner is chicken, steamed (microwaved) white fish or a low calorie ready meal with lots of veg, snacks are roasted salted pistachios or frozen mixed berries.
Drinking water like a fish! and taking the dog out for brisk walks (not forgetting to take my water with me!😅)

SexyFrenchDepression · 20/11/2025 15:59

I have just checked my fitness pal re my actual fibre and I am averaging around 7g, no wonder I am feeling bloated! I'm getting on all your ideas immediately 😂
